An excellent chic hotel set away from the hustle & bustle of the city, but close enough for easy access. Staff and rooms excellent

Spacious, luxurious, good ventilation. Oh but one point, please add international TV channels like BBC!

The customer service was impeccable despite some of the reception staff being new to the job. The breakfast was excellent and varied and a couple of comments were taken seriously

The hotel is very good and the rooms are clean and comfortable

Favourite spot is the gym room, there’s even a rack and heavy lifting is possible ;)) Location is quite convenient, very close to transport and there is a Sushi restaurant right next to the hotel which close until 10 pm, recommend for solo travelling or couple ;)

It's far from the city center, so it takes a little time to get back to the hotel in the middle of sightseeing, but it's very close to the tram station, so I think it's quite convenient

Great location and a pleasant hotel. Tea/ coffee is available in the room. Good breakfast. Haven't found a dairy- free porridge, but hopefully next time. Enjoy your stay.

I don’t know how to inform about this to google, but Marriotts own site says they’re actually a 4-star hotel. Google says its only a 3-star hotel.

 slippers and pyjamas are not provided (perhaps because I stayed for one night idk). Towels and bedding doesn’t smell well-cleaned

A really nice hotel with free popcorn 🍿 in the lobby. Very good breakfast and functional room design. Good parking lot.

The hotel is in the center of the city. You can easily take a bus to the airport, too. Breakfast is also nice.

Facilities: There are many different flavors of coffee, the hotel has a free sauna, Sanitation: Very clean, Environment: Located in the city center, the Freedom Square is in front of the hotel, and large shopping malls and supermarkets are in the hotel building and 100 meters away

Wonderful place, friendly and helpful staff, dog friendly, great breakfast and good placement. The only thing was the room was a bit warm, but nothing major. Would definitely stay here again!

The stay was very pleasant. The staff was helpful, breakfast was good, and the in-room sauna was the best.

However,there was no extra kettle in the room. They serve some hot drinks at the lobi but they were not good enough,the cups were so small and they were expensive

Here for a wedding. The staff was very accommodating, rooms were large and clean. The restaurant was also very good. Would recommend this hotel to everyone.

We had a superior sauna room with own sauna ja jacuzzi... I loved this room. Staff very kind. Breakfast was amazing with a big variety of food.

Accessible room For some reason we got an accessible room, it was big so we didn’t really mind it. However the room got quickly very hot, which can be a problem for those who actually are in need of an accessible room

Good restaurant-Galla, giving an experience of ingredients and stuff from up north. Nice variation of breakfast.

The location is about two minutes walk from the train station and maybe five minutes walk from the market square

Don’t let its office-block exterior fool you, this is a great hotel. We had a large (and quiet) room with comfortable beds. Breakfast was great and the staff were super friendly

The room is very good, clean and hygienic, and the environment is beautiful. This is my second time staying in this hotel. The hotel has parking space and is in the city center. Next time I pass by, I'll stay here again

After some initial issues (restaurant and Spa opening hours changing to our disadvantage) we still decided to come which turned out to be the right choice

Upon arrival, we were told the restaurant is closed and is only for private events; however, their website seems to indicate a normal restaurant with a la carte menu and so on, and even an information pack received from them on the check-in day suggested it was a regular restaurant

Second, we booked this hotel so we could spend some time in the pool. However, their "spa" (a small pool and a sauna) was only available for private use on short periods of time, and by paying a separate fee

We paid 74EUR for 2 adults and a toddler for rights to use the "spa" for 50mins. Also, this price was different than announced in their pamphlets at the reception

There was a feeling of being taken advantage of by a hotel that i think tries to pose as high end hotel but was just normal

When I asked why, the answer was that customers who booked their rooms on booking dot com pay more

The costumer service was great and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast is buffet with good options.

Breakfast is a western style breakfast with some local elements. There is a small unisex sauna in the fitness room with towel provided. Good to experience Finland sauna after a long day

Another review I'm afraid to do because once the secret is out, it may fill up too fast for another visit! What an absolutely fantastic hotel! I'll put it this way, my child wrote about it on his back to school essay and wants to go back! Needless to say, it made an impression on all of us! The beds were the most comfortable I've had while staying in a hotel! The bedding was so excellent I wrote and...

The only thing that was missing, was refilling of some of the body lotion/shampoo, as it wasn't full when we arrived. Otherwise, a great hotel and will come back again in the future

All the staff are very friendly and helpful and in particular, the lovely lady in the kitchen is always smiling, warm, cheerful and greets everyone good morning on arrival for breakfast

Breakfast you book a slot which im not a fan off, but space is limited so I can see why, the variety was just okay, was fresh and the porridge the best I have had

Especially the dessert buffet was one of the best I have ever seen at breakfast (pancakes, cheeses, mud cake, carrot cake, caramel mini muffins, lemon cake, American chocolate cookies, churros, Danish pastries)

It's actually smaller compared to other Scandic hotels. Our room is quite undersized for a family of 4 though it was just used for sleeping. But it was in a good location

A 4 star experience. Walking distance from pori centre. Has underground parking. A good restaurant Olivia, they have vegan and vegetarian choices 👍🏻

No free parking, otherwise good breakfast but those tea bags..., water pressure in shower and specially in bidet poor. Good location, not in the noisiest area, but in walking distance from everything.

We stayed in a few different hotels across Europe and the rooms here were spacious and modern. When one of our rooms, the phone didn’t work. They have a ok breakfast buffet. I wish they would’ve had traditional pancakes

I requested for one and they say EUR5, but they waived the charge. It’s nice but then why is it so difficult to have a kettle? The soap dispenser is filled with hair conditioner! I told the receptionist

He is super nice and gave me a small travel size for the night first. Next morning, they changed but this time again they filled in the wrong bottles haha. The breakfast is very nice, good variety and quality

The location of this hotel is excellent, only few hundred meters from ski lifts and Levi village

Worst hotel experience in Finland so far. The room was old, poorly maintained, and not properly cleaned. The key card system was a constant issue; they were unable to provide us with two functioning room cards

The family room was great, with a large bedroom and a separate bunk bed. It's a five-minute walk back to the hotel after skiing, and a three-minute walk to the shopping street. A perfect choice for Levi Ski Resort

This place was absolutely perfect. Could not find 1 thing wrong with the place. Our stay was excellent from check in to check out. Will definitely be returning and would recommend to anyone.

Breakfast was good but had more of a cafeteria feel, which also contributed to my 3-star rating. That said, the staff were friendly and helpful

A lovely stay at the Hotel Haaga. The food at the restaurant was excellent and the amenities were very good. The pool and gym are well equipped and great to use. The staff are really what made the stay comfortable

Small room but it had what we needed The staff is very helpful. The restaurant is good. There is a pool, hot tub, and sauna.

Sauna and pool are all excellent. The breakfasts are excellent. To the city centre by bus in 10 minutes.

Pretty basic hotel, but a good value by Helsinki standards, I think. Main floor bar closed very early, and doesn't really have much going for it. Small rooms; comfortable bed. Perfectly acceptable place to stay.

The color scheme and furniture of the rooms reflect Kallio's urban city atmosphere, without forgetting the earthiness. Some rooms have a view of Kallio's lively streets, others of the peaceful courtyard

What really stood out was the staff that they were super friendly and always willing to help. I had no issues at all during my stay, and it was much better than I had anticipated

The location is also really convenient and not far from the city center, and there’s a direct tram right in front of the hotel that takes you there easily

The renovated Scandic Kallio is the only hotel in the area that exudes the ruggedness and authenticity of the bohemian district

As we were checking out, we saw there was a coffee machine in reception that made good espresso (that you had to pay extra for) - we tried it - why isn’t it in the breakfast room?! Otherwise our stay was perfect!

The rooms are pretty normal but the bathroom is super stylish. Pillows not good - I had to take the pillow from the other bed and a sweater in order to have enough pillow

Stayed a week for a business trip. Nice sauna and decent vegan breakfast options. Breakfast can be a bit busy at times. The walk to the next tram station is a few minutes uphill. Would stay again next time I'm in Tampere

The dinner: fresh salmon the best I ever had beside we watched over the frozen lake

We visited the spa complex. Four types of saunas, a salt room, a relaxation area, a large pool, a jacuzzi, and a bar. There is a summer terrace with a lake view. I recommend this place.

A good place for a one-time visit, a spa restaurant and a hotel, of the inconveniences I can note a small jacuzzi in which there is a constant queue, but overall not bad

UPD from 2025: I gave it 5 stars because of amazing view and swimming experience in July. When it is hot, this is really a gem. But the breakfast is still very modest:) 2024: Overall it was a good experience

We visited the hotel in April 2024. The rooms are a bit old fashioned, but it is OK. The greatest advantage is the view and the fact that the balcony is very close to the water

Great location, comfortable waiting area, and parking available. There's a convenience store, mall, and supermarket nearby, which is really handy. The breakfast has a good variety, and the room was clean.

There is no better place to be sleeping in rovaniemi. Part of the Europe regulation; there are no disposal amenities. So if you want a room slipper, better bring your own else you will be walking in cold floor

Nothing fancy, but above the average hotel with choice of balls, cold cuts, fruit and pastries.  Didn’t manage to see the gym nor sauna as was busy out looking at Santa’s creation

Great location. There is a shopping center in front of the hotel and easy to access to the tourist company. And also the breakfast is great.

The location is smack right in the heart of town Center. There is a mall opposite, a Chinese restaurant beside and a walking 5 min to Santa town office. Not to mention bus stop is just 1 min walk
