Easily one of the best stays I've had at a hotel. Even before arrival, I was contacted by staff who wanted to check ETA. Once I got there, staff were welcoming and lovely. The hotel room was nice and spacious
They had porridge, every type of spread and condiment you could think of, eggs, chicken meatballs, falafels (it's rare for hotels to have both warm meat and veg options), different types of bread, cheeses and meat slices, a salad bar, hot drinks bar, biscuit area (so many different types), yoghurt station, cereal station, different types of juice, fresh orange juice, and porridge
A simple, practical Finnish hotel with clean rooms, comfy beds, and a calm, minimalist style, but all cabinets and surfaces to place your stuff are there!
Friendly staff and a tasty local breakfast make it a reliable, budget-friendly base for exploring the area
The breakfast area also had a children's play area. As this is not as common these days. Staff were also quickly replenishing any food. It's clear the staff have very carefully thought about their services
Had a TV and even a bidet in the bathroom. Because you couldn't even enter each floor without the key provided. Each floor has a communal area and kitchen. And there's even a sauna on the top floor
What's even more impressive is that they share a building with university accommodation. You wouldn't even realise because the service was that brilliant. please ignore the negative reviews
There is also a warm laundry room, a small toilet, and an excellent sauna, which was a fantastic addition and very welcome at the end of the day
I am quite a fussy eater, so the variety was particularly appreciated. The children loved being able to help themselves to drinks, and there was always a friendly member of staff nearby to help when needed

The cottages are around a 10-minute walk to the main hotel, although this can easily turn into 20–30 minutes if you have children who want to stop for snowball fights along the way

The hotel is centrally located, rooms are clean and has a good view of the restaurent, breakfast spread is really good and has a wide variety to choose from. Housekeeping staff are very helpful and service is excellent

Very good hotel. Clean, had amazing shower, working AC/TV/minibar. Only thing i dont understand as a tourist, why windows had no handles and couldn't be opened.

Good service, but the rooms are quite basic. There is no Smart TV or fridge, and no shampoo products are provided. However, the parking space is small and not included in the price (14€/day)
The bed is a little softer than other hotels, and the pillows are looser. Apart from these two points, there are basically no flaws. We did not buy breakfast, which is on the second floor and cannot be seen

Largest bed in europe I have ever slept, best receptionists I have ever encountered in europe and great location, with free coffee and tea included in the price! Especially if you are coming with a car do not bother yourself with staying in city center, 10 minutes to the center by car and close to the nature

This is a modern Finnish hotel. The location and facilities are terrific, very convenient to the metro, bus lines and the tram. The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The airport is a short distance away by transit.
This is a modern and comfortable hotel, where we slept peacefully and without disturbance. Restaurants and other retail facilities are not close by but the Fat Lizard brewery pub a short walk away is a big plus

The metro is anyhow not far, which of course gives you the possibility to get to Helsinki or other retail centres
The executive lounge was also an amazing experience. At breakfast, the porridge was excellent. However, the grilled vegetables contained a lot of chili, and unfortunately this was not marked anywhere on the info board

The staff , Heidi and Saverin, were outstanding. My reservation has not come through, and they worked tirelessly to make sure that it was retrieved and that I had a room on time

Got room on what seems to be the old side, so a bit run down. Also had to use extra lift to navigate within the same floor with child cart.

It had most of the basic equipment. Breakfast was good but it was again super crowded and it was challenging to find a place to eat
Incredible staff, right in the hearts of Tampere and within walking distance of almost everything. Public transit is extremely easy to access from here. The staff was wildly friendly and even remembered my name
I had an early flight out the next morning and they made a special breakfast box just for me. If you are traveling to Tampere. It's expensive but massively worth the price

Everything is good with the place, with a gym and sauna. The place is around 40 mins away from the city centre with public transport.
The rooms are clean and very high quality. Prices are not too high. The only disadvantage is the distance from the city centre, but at least there is a good bus connection.

We visited the spa complex. Four types of saunas, a salt room, a relaxation area, a large pool, a jacuzzi, and a bar. There is a summer terrace with a lake view. I recommend this place.
A good place for a one-time visit, a spa restaurant and a hotel, of the inconveniences I can note a small jacuzzi in which there is a constant queue, but overall not bad

I gave it 5 stars because of amazing view and swimming experience in July. When it is hot, this is really a gem. But the breakfast is still very modest:)

We visited the hotel in April 2024. The rooms are a bit old fashioned, but it is OK. The greatest advantage is the view and the fact that the balcony is very close to the water

Took me days to decide if we should go visit since I checked many reviews. Eventually decided to check it myself: the dinner buffet was out of expectation, we enjoyed most of the food

Got taken by some software engineers from turku when they came past Lappeenranta on an excursion. This is the first place we went to and I've got to admit quite a weird fun chill place to visit
The spa was fun but really really cold, if the temperature would be slightly higher, I will for sure give 5 stars!
It feels very 2008 in a nostalgic way for me. I'd recommend visiting but the only downside I can think of is that you need to mortgage your house and sell a kidney to buy more than 3 drinks
A hotel with great design, friendly staff and great breakfast.
The standard double room size is fine but the rest room is very small. Bed is comfortable. In room amenities are quite good, with a capsule coffee machine.
For the cost, the room was fine, a little small, but again for the cost it was fine (I was traveling alone, for two people probably too small). The breakfast was good with good selections of food to pick from
