Hotel Friendship in Kobuleti

The hotel is horrible. I booked it on Booking as Karo Hotel, on the reception the name was Hotel Megobroba, here it is Hotel Friendship. The first thing when we arrive they asked us to cancel the reservation on Booking that they don't have to pay booking fee there and offered discount. After seeing the room, we started to understand why they do it - when you cancel, you can't write a review on Booking. That's why they have there 9.6 score, probably reviews only from "approved" guests. Otherwise the room was absolutely horrible, fridge and air conditioner didn't work, door and window to the balcony was not possible to close, mattress was totally soft and had some sharp wire on the perimeter. Table and chair on the balcony were broken. The view from the balcony was basically at a landfill. Finally we got a refund and went away. I really recommend to avoid this hotel, their business is shady and the building looks it will fall apart soon.

Staff helpful in a way but standards are lowest. It was called Karo hotel on booking but it's actually Megobroba Hotel.

I have almost booked this accommodation named as Karo Hotel via booking.com with fake rating 9.3/10. Thanks God I had read reviews here when I was trying to locate this place on Google Maps. Attached photo I made last week when I was in Kobuleti (stayed at different place)

for any purpose, doesn't matter what it is, don't go this place. sleep on streets but don't go this place
