Recently , we agreed with the management of the hotel, that the staff of the International Sanctuary and the Rehabilitation Center for abandoned animals and wildlife Kobuleti/Batumi will pick up the food for our rescued dogs and dogs living on the roads in 🇬🇪. A Dog hater, A disgusting man named Aleksandr Begeladze, security head of the Marina Colesseum hotel , constantly, on the days that he works, ridiculed the very hard and noble work we do rescuing his Georgian dumped dogs , obstructed the pick up of the food, intimidated and harassed me every single time I visited the hotel. This rude psychopath (I am a psychologist) was constantly shouting at me, even when I was 10 meters from him, speaking with another person. He doesn't have any respect for guests or visitors or the staff from different departments. He shouted to the staff from the kitchen too. Alexandre Begeladze(name provided by his staff) is an analphabetic person, doesn't speak foreign languages, and doesn't possess interpersonal skills and security professional skills are absolutely unknown to him. Although he has video surveillance/CCTV monitoring , only on Day 21 of our pick up of the food, he approached me as a bandit from the road. A professional person will communicate very well with the hotel staff to know the reason for our visit.❌He doesn't possess the required strong observation and communication skills❌he doesn't know anything about conflict resolution ❌no customer service skills to maintain a safe, secure, and welcoming environment .He can ONLY intimidate/harass women, especially when they do very noble work, to save 4paws🐕🐱🐎🦌🐑🐖🦬🐇 domestic and wildlife lives. In the EU we do require the documentation from police and certainly Forensic Medical examination paper as he is dangerous to work with people. That's why I said to him that this is not his private property, and he can shout only to his own family members, but not to the visitors, staff, or guests .He is constantly swallowing food in his room and, due to the obesity can barely walk. How he can provide assistance for guests during fire or any other emergencies. Alexandre Begeladze doesn't possess any certificate of first aid on work. How can he provide assistance if he doesn't have these skills prior to the arrival of an ambulance. The most important question is:Why and who is keeping him on this job, if he is completely INCOMPETENT and dangerous, at least for women .Intimidation and Harassment is punishable by Georgian law too. I am sure that Miss Marina loves dogs and will be impressed by work we do. Unfortunately , i have experienced from this dog hater only verbal abuse and intimidation/harassment.We are serving 211 rescued dogs, one horse and one cat! We have been 4 times in intensive care and gone thru one serious surgery of 4 hours in the Caucasian medical centrum in Tbilisi, but we will continue to rescue animals from disgusting people as Aleksadre Begeladze and will go ahead for dying anim

Good day, I would like to share my experience in this hotel. FIrst of all we have been robbed. My beautiful wife have lost her earings which i bought for her on our anneversiry. They have been just stolen...by the staff... When found out this, my beautiful wife called the police. Despite my word "don't do anything'. The police came and did nothing. My next actions were just to take a hand of her and to go to the Mall to the jewelery store... Guess what heappened next... Do not recomend that hotel....

The room was perfectly tidy and the cleaners were quite polite and friendly. However, one wall of the room had a terrible smell (we couldn’t figure out what it was). The exhaust fan in the bathroom was not working, so black stains were forming on the ceiling above the shower. The hairdryer was very old, to the point that it couldn’t even properly dry short hair. There was also no toothbrush provided. The bed was rather hard, which naturally caused discomfort while sleeping. In the spa, the wet sauna was not working, nor was the jacuzzi. When the description says “spa & sauna,” naturally there is an expectation that they function. The water in the outdoor pool was not at a balanced temperature; it was quite cold. The bottom of the outdoor pool also needed cleaning. In the jacuzzi, tiles had come off the floor, and as a result, there was also sand scattered around. The staff were rather unfriendly, which highlighted their unprofessionalism. Even when we first arrived, they greeted us with stiff expressions, despite us always approaching them kindly. Whenever we ordered something, the looks they gave us made us feel almost guilty, as if we were inconveniencing them by placing an order :). Finally, according to the booking confirmation, our check-out time was set for 12:30. However, when we went back to the room at 12:06, we couldn’t open the door because our key card had already been blocked. When I mentioned this, the response I received was: “Well, that’s what you wanted, but did you ask anyone?” The fact that I had a booking confirmation with these details clearly means those details should be honored. If there are conditions that require contacting the hotel in advance, this should be clearly stated somewhere. Overall, the staff’s behavior, expressions, gestures, and body language all emphasized a clear lack of professionalism and disrespect toward guests. The hotel only had a Liberty Bank payment terminal, which was also inconvenient if you had a card from another country. We were unable to pay with an American bank card for this very reason. While the issue was eventually resolved, it naturally caused unnecessary discomfort.

Upon arrival, the bathroom vanities were not removed. They never cleaned the room, didn't refill the shower gel, and didn't respond to any inquiries.

In Batumi, the Las Vegas of the Black Sea, this hotel is far away from the hustle and bustle of the city, built by the sea, and has a panoramic view of the beautiful seaside. There are pharmacies, ATMs, local small supermarkets, Indian restaurants, Ukrainian restaurants, Georgian restaurants, Georgian seafood restaurants, and lights in the surrounding area. It is very convenient. However, the hotel was renovated many years ago and is a little old, but the service of the service staff is in place, and those old facilities can be ignored. Instead, it gives people a sense of historical immersion. Batumi is a small city. It is recommended to take a taxi using the local taxi app BOLT, which is very cheap and basically does not exceed 30CNY. The surrounding entertainment venues are also very close and can be reached on foot. **, nightclubs, and bars are worthy of the Black Sea Las Vegas😁

Average hotel, nothing special. I have never been asked to pay as soon as we check in. The food is OK, rooms are so so, pool is nice. Security is over the top, they wouldn't open the door so we could put our bags in the car before we checked out.... Strange do that many people not pay?????
