Had an exam not far away so book the night there. It was very convienient going to the zoo and rewe was just a shoet walk away.

Very basic. Far away from the city but very close to public transport stations.

Pretty good, the hotel was comfortable and they provided a crib at no extra charge. The breakfast was very complete but too expensive for what it offered (€21 per person). The location is a bit out of the way, but there's free parking nearby and a tram and train combination to get to the city center in 45 minutes. Room cleaning is an issue. They came to refill drink bottles but they didnt clean the room neither they change the use towels. Breakfast is too notch. Parking is an issue.

The hotel and the service are good. Location is a bit far from the town/shopping area but nothing a Uber cant fix. Quiet place which is good for me. Overall a pretty nice place to stay for a good price, will be back if I travel to Berlin again

Fantastic experience. I just had a 15-hour FLIXBUS tour and arrived in Berlin at 9 am exhausted. Reception kindly helped me checking in in advance. The room's also perfect. Breakfast was good. Really enjoy my stay!

First of all, this is not a 5 star hotel! It is listed as a 5 ⭐ on many sites, but it is a 4 ⭐ hotel. Rooms are ok size, we had comfortable real double bed (not two single beds pretending to be double). Free mini bar and coffee machine was a great add on. But no slippers. Balcony in my room was too small, but some rooms have bigger balconies, so it depends on luck what you'll get. Location is ok...

in a word: Excellent. The location is perfect, since public transport in Berlin is always available and wherever you are, it is always easy to find your way back to Ostbahnhof. Staff is friendly and helpful and it is a treat to get a drink at the 24h bar.

The hotel is very close to the train station. It is very convenient to commute from Berlin main train station. It is not far from museum Island. We can walk there. The area is good. Rossmann is just opposite the hotel. The room is very clean and spacious. The bed is great. We had a very comfortable deep sleep here. The complimentary winter tea and cookies is awesome and yummy.

Indeed a high quality as well as "easy-going" stay since this is a centrally located hotel situated next to an important train station, also next to important city sights, museums etc. We are happy that our stay was a very relaxing one even though it was mainly for a congress. The hotel has also a nice restaurant that may serve until late, should someone needs it.

A great hotel in excellent location, walkable distance to lots of restaurants, shops and landmarks. The room was nice and clean, bed comfortable. A bit noisy from the train station nearby but nothing earplugs cannot fix. If you don’t want housekeeping everyday, you are rewarded a drink voucher :) I will happily stay again if visiting Berlin.

The location of the hotel is not very convenient, but for the price, the quality of the hotel is excellent. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are spacious. Slippers are also provided, which is quite rare for hotels in Europe.

Mediocre. When you walk in the decor is grand and the look and feel of the lobby and dining area made it seem elegant. But the rooms were the real truth behind this facade. Very nice, modern and conveniently placed hotel with a 10 minute ride into Berlin's city centre on the overground train. There is a parking right outside as well. Inside the room we found 2 dirty socks. The room cleaner had not visited our room even one during our 3 nights stay there. The location is very convenient. It was very close to the train station. Which was the only positive aspect of the hotel.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Berlin Wall Gallery Hotel! The location is unbeatable—right across the road from the train and bus stations, making it incredibly easy to get anywhere in the city. The price versus quality is outstanding. Cosy and warm hotel lobby with great coffee shop. Amazing location right next to the East Side Gallery and opposite a major train station (Ostbahnhof). Really easy to check in and out with app on your phone and unlock your room with this app also. My only criticism is the pillows were like giant, mainly unformed bags of cotton wool.

On the whole zero complaints about the hotel itself. The complex is gigantic and much larger than expected, and as such, made finding reception quite difficult. The ‘front’ of the hotel is actually on the other side of the building than you’d expect - I.E. from the local tram stop, the entrance is on the opposite side than the one facing you. However, I’m unsure if we’ve arrived in an ‘offseason’...

The room was quite nice. The complex is huge, but the restaurant sells the ice cubes (???), guess is not part of the hotel. It is a lit bit far from the city, but the quality of the room and toilet was great. And comfy beds as well. AC working perfectly as was quite hot weather. Staff was professional and polite. Toiletries were quite good as well and we manage to have a great stay there.

Nice big rooms, our room had a bath shower, they don’t offer kettles on the room or coffee and teas. No ammenities except shower gel and handwash. Had a nice decent tv and chairs in the room too. Check in and hotel staff seemed like they didn’t care. 15-20mins away from the Berlin central

Decent hotel, basic enough but very tidy. The reception staff were very nice , Yanit, if spelt correct looked after us and was great to deal with. A little far out from the centre of Berlin but that’s not a major issue. Shop was very expensive. Worth a visit as decent value for money to stay in.

Very good location easy access to Alexander Platz by U2 underground and airport.

This hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the location was quite convenient, and the breakfast spread offered a good variety. However, the rooms themselves were rather basic and felt quite dated. While it might be fine for a solo traveler, it's definitely not ideal for families or couples. What's curious, though, is that it seemed quite popular with Western guests.

The location is fantastic! Right across the street, you'll find the S3 and S9 train stations, which take you directly to the Central Station. There's also a very old and well-preserved military castle nearby that's definitely worth a visit. I forgot to take pictures of the hotel, but it was very clean, and the breakfast view was superb.

Solo female in mixed dorm I stayed in a mixed dorm - the cheapest option. It was fine, though unfortunately I only had boy roomates, and as a solo female traveller, that made me a little uncomfortable, but I knew the risk when choosing a mixed dorm (female only wasn't available). Our shared toilet smelt like pee from the day I first arrived and till I left, which wasn't exactly a pleasent experience...

I was here only for a few hours, because my bus was starting at night 1:15 from ZOB. So I was searching for smthg quite and they gave my a quite room. Alano Pizza is only 5 minutes away: 2 EUR for a mini pizza, but they have also other pizzas. I should come back to here with some friends.

I had a private room and bathroom and this is definitely a value for tourists who need a place to sleep (no spa days at the hotel). Not fancy, but a good value.

Happy Hotel Berlin was a spacious, dynamic and restful place to stay. I enjoyed the suggestions of places to go at the entrance, the fun of meeting new folx in group accommodations, and the relaxed atmosphere throughout. A spot-on hostel experience!

Very simple and simply furnished room, not necessarily in the style of a 4-star hotel, but spacious. The lobby and breakfast options were excellent; there's a pool table, foosball, and board games available.

Right next to the Berlin Wall, the location is absolutely fantastic. Perfect for an early morning run. Breakfast was also good. East Berlin is actually really cool and worth exploring some streets favored by locals.

The location is fantastic, especially if you're here to see the galleries – it's right across the street from the hotel. 'Brotherhood Kiss' (the mural) is just another minute's walk to the east. If you're traveling by train, Berlin Ostbahnhof (East Station) is right next door. It's a standard Hilton chain hotel, so there are no major complaints.

An excellent, stylish 4-star hotel on the banks of the Spree River. It features a pleasant lobby and helpful reception staff. A sauna is included in the price. The spacious room includes a coffee machine and tea station.

Currently staying at this hotel (4 nights, with 1 more left. The weather has been very hot, 33c 2 days in a row. There is no air conditioning, anywhere in the hotel. Not in the lobby, restaurants or rooms. It’s very uncomfortable. My room currently stinks of sweaty dog (I have dogs back home, so I know the smell of an unwashed dog. Experience with staffs was great even when trip somehow made a mistake in my booking. Paid for 2 rooms for 2 night but the hotel can only find booking for 1 room. Had to pay extra for the second room. Hopefully Trip can sort this out and refund me the extra that I paid for

Nice hotel. Delicious breakfast. Decent room. I wasn't prepared for the fact that my windows overlook the hotel lobby. A view from the window is very important to me. But then I got used to it. The bartender, Matteo, is a very good professional.

Ideal location very close to train station, wifi wouldn’t reach the bedroom though and only worked in the bathroom and we had a member of staff walk into our room without knocking. Buuuut the front desk staff were beyond amazing and helped us immensely. Sauna access is also incredible for tired exploring feet!

Very small room, no wardrobes, no street view, just an inside patio. they do not respect your choice of one bedding (we selected one big bed, got two instead). No refrigerator or minibar. The room is 40 square meters with two TVs and two toilets, one on each side, which is very convenient. The toiletries are incredibly complete, a rare find in European hotels. The bed is also very comfortable, and the sofa bed is a double, big enough for two people.
