Everything was fine during my stay. The staff were kind and helpful, the room was clean, and the breakfast was good. Overall, a comfortable and pleasant experience :)

Lovely and clean hotel with a great breakfast. In a good location with excellent transport links to all of Berlin. The room is very small but clean and functional, so it's a good trade-off given the location and quality of breakfast. I would definitely use this hotel again.

I had a great stay here the location is really good close to shops and restaurants and public transport. The staff are super friendly they allowed us to check in early which was appreciated. The breakfast is good lots of choice your room will be cleaned if you ask. Only thing that would have made it perfect for me would have been a fridge in the room.

Stayed here for five nights and it was great. Super good breakfast. Rooms are small but clean, contemporary, and everything works well. Staff are very nice. It’s a big hotel, but that is why it’s a good price. Nearby transportation is excellent; walkable to Mitte and every train stops at Alenlxanderplatz. Would absolutely recommend.

On the whole zero complaints about the hotel itself. The complex is gigantic and much larger than expected, and as such, made finding reception quite difficult. The ‘front’ of the hotel is actually on the other side of the building than you’d expect - I.E. from the local tram stop, the entrance is on the opposite side than the one facing you. However, I’m unsure if we’ve arrived in an ‘offseason’...

The room was quite nice. The complex is huge, but the restaurant sells the ice cubes (???), guess is not part of the hotel. It is a lit bit far from the city, but the quality of the room and toilet was great. And comfy beds as well. AC working perfectly as was quite hot weather. Staff was professional and polite. Toiletries were quite good as well and we manage to have a great stay there.

Nice big rooms, our room had a bath shower, they don’t offer kettles on the room or coffee and teas. No ammenities except shower gel and handwash. Had a nice decent tv and chairs in the room too. Check in and hotel staff seemed like they didn’t care. 15-20mins away from the Berlin central

This hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the location was quite convenient, and the breakfast spread offered a good variety. However, the rooms themselves were rather basic and felt quite dated. While it might be fine for a solo traveler, it's definitely not ideal for families or couples. What's curious, though, is that it seemed quite popular with Western guests.

Just one stop away from the main train station, this Mercure is a bit older compared to others. It's decent, nothing outstanding but no major flaws either. The soundproofing in the rooms isn't great; it can be a bit noisy.

Great location. Asked for more hangers and the officers helped. Asked to change room after day 1 due to noisy street and the staff helped to changed to a quieter facing room. Busy hotel .. everything nearby Supermarket , attractive point , transportation all in walking distance. But there is only one bottle of sparkling water for one stay. Breakfast expensive. Overall value for money.

I had a call to the Hotel before my arrival time in 8pm on the day to remind my booking. when i arrived the Hotel, i was heard my booking is not available, should transfer to other hotel, they did this with free of Taxi. The location is fantastic! Right across the street, you'll find the S3 and S9 train stations, which take you directly to the Central Station. There's also a very old and well-preserved military castle nearby that's definitely worth a visit. I forgot to take pictures of the hotel, but it was very clean, and the breakfast view was superb.

Very simple and simply furnished room, not necessarily in the style of a 4-star hotel, but spacious. The lobby and breakfast options were excellent; there's a pool table, foosball, and board games available.

The receptionist was very kind and helpful. Unfortunately, there was a problem with our room because the drain did not work. I don’t understand how a hotel like this can allow such an issue, especially considering the high price. Breakfast was fine.

First time trying the steingeberger brand hotel - the service standard turns out to be better than the other international brand hotels. Very nice, modern and conveniently placed hotel with a 10 minute ride into Berlin's city centre on the overground train. There is a parking right outside as well. The location is fantastic, especially if you're here to see the galleries – it's right across the street from the hotel. 'Brotherhood Kiss' (the mural) is just another minute's walk to the east. If you're traveling by train, Berlin Ostbahnhof (East Station) is right next door. It's a standard Hilton chain hotel, so there are no major complaints.

It's 2026, and the hotel still requires you to call the front desk to order two free bottles of water daily and wait for a waiter to bring them up. Even asking for slippers or water from the service cart in the hallway is useless; you have to call to order. Experience with staffs was great even when trip somehow made a mistake in my booking. Paid for 2 rooms for 2 night but the hotel can only find booking for 1 room. Had to pay extra for the second room. Hopefully Trip can sort this out and refund me the extra that I paid for

Enjoyed my stay here. It's a little spare and small in the rooms but the breakfast (free) is fantastic and they'll store your bag for you if you arrive too early. The location is a great launching pad if you're in Berlin as a tourist, and it's close to several public transport options. I would stay here again.

Our room was clean, big and bright. Staff were super nice and helpful. The staircase was also very beautiful. There is only one minus (even though super minimal minus), there was only one charging jacks above/on the side of the bed.

It's a solid hotel , but not a 4-star. Rooms are clean. Reception is nice, beds are good but the bathroom design is just absurd. Random shower out in the open inside the room right next to beds.... Literally no privacy . Location is pretty good.

Travelled with my family. The location was fabulous; it is just a short walk from Berlin central train station. You can get anyway of the city via Tram, Bus, and Underground Metro. The hotel practise "Self Service". You got to do self-check-in.

Property is well located 5 min walk from AlexanderPlatz, and staff well trained and accommodating. My issue was that the room was basic and poorly furnished. Bedding and bathroom towels were poor quality - so 2-3 stars there. OK for an overnight stay when you just need a bed and shower .... I imagine other hotels in thr area have a better price / quality ratio.

I stayed at the property during ITB Berlin, location is perfect with direct train connection to the trade show. Building exterior is a bit outdated, however room amenities and comfy bed is all I needed and met expectations. Good breakfast variety as well.

The hotel location is superb and really worth its value. The staff are also excellent with their services. Few observations for the management: The pillows are too soft and not all travellers like soft pillows. This didn't allow me to enjoy my sleep at all. There should be an option to choose between hard and soft pillows just the way options are given between two beds or large for the queen's room...

First, when I checked in, the receptionist didn't welcome us, he asked for the reservation and gave me the room key that was all. The iron place isn't suitable at all in the corridor near the elevator if it is in a room for it or they send it to your room as in other hotels will be more decent. The staff were extremely kind and helpful, and the kids' playroom added to the enjoyment of our stay, especially for our children. It is my pleasure to say that after pandemic the level of service is constantly going up. Reception staff is definitely more experienced and very nice and helpful - this is vey noticeable. I am quite frequently staying in this hotel so I can see the difference. The minibar gets refilled every day (also not a standard in the past). Really really great hotel! Rooms immaculate, stylish and service impeccable. Hotel provides free baggage storage and area to wait on 6th floor including showers and space to get changed after you’ve checked out! Only downside would be that breakfast is on the expensive side however if you are travelling as a family under 15s are free.
