Holiday Inn Berlin City-East Landsberger Allee, Berlin1 / 21
7.4
Berlin, Landsberger Allee 203 (7 km from centre) 🧭 Map
On the whole zero complaints about the hotel itself. The complex is gigantic and much larger than expected, and as such, made finding reception quite difficult. The ‘front’ of the hotel is actually on the other side of the building than you’d expect - I.E. from the local tram stop, the entrance is on the opposite side than the one facing you. However, I’m unsure if we’ve arrived in an ‘offseason’...
The room was quite nice. The complex is huge, but the restaurant sells the ice cubes (???), guess is not part of the hotel. It is a lit bit far from the city, but the quality of the room and toilet was great. And comfy beds as well. AC working perfectly as was quite hot weather. Staff was professional and polite. Toiletries were quite good as well and we manage to have a great stay there.
Nice big rooms, our room had a bath shower, they don’t offer kettles on the room or coffee and teas. No ammenities except shower gel and handwash. Had a nice decent tv and chairs in the room too. Check in and hotel staff seemed like they didn’t care. 15-20mins away from the Berlin central
Rooms are basic but large and clean. Beds comfy. Shame there's no kettle etc. BIt further out than expected but tram stop outside. What let it down was the rudeness of the member of staff we were greeted with. Arrived at midnight 26th April at midnight. Showed hotel voucher. Was told system only had one room for 2 ppl when we have booked 2 rooms for a total of 4. Voucher made this clear. Rather than...
Decent hotel, basic enough but very tidy. The reception staff were very nice , Yanit, if spelt correct looked after us and was great to deal with. A little far out from the centre of Berlin but that’s not a major issue. Shop was very expensive. Worth a visit as decent value for money to stay in.
Stayed here for three nights over St. Patrick's weekend whilst visiting Berlin. Good hotel for the price nothing flash good clean basic single room, comfortable bed. Hotel website shows bars and restaurant but none of these appeared to be open which was slightly disappointing, however did notice the bar open on the Sunday evening, maybe they could post the opening times better. There is a shop in the...

Berlin, Kantstraße 79, Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
Very unexpected find! Loved the overall atmosphere, from room to restaurant where we had dinner. Super helpful and polite staff. The only minor, the gym. Very very basic. But the rest is too good to pass on
A beautiful and luxurious hotel in a quiet part of town, but well connected by public transport. The room was clean, spacious and well appointed, with a nice view over a peaceful courtyard. The building (an ex women's' prison) has been sensitively converted, keeping interesting features. The bar was cosy if somewhat dimly lit, didn't use the restaurant but the breakfast was copious and with healthy...
What a treat! The room, the sauna, the lounge area, gym, the bed, the Wilmina bakery next door (and their staff) the loyalty bar….. the pool! (Will definately freshen you up in winter - wonderful). Staff. Almost best of all is the tranquility, the beautiful design and colour scheme. An absolute oasis in the city. My Berlin favourite from now on…
Located in the bohemian Charlottenburg suburb of Berlin, this is a fabulous hotel steeped in history. A converted women’s prison, it retains a lot of the character and features of its past and the ‘jail vibe’ features charmingly throughout the hotel. The staff are wonderfully friendly and helpful. Lovis Restaurant is fabulous. The tasting menu created by Chef Sophia and her team is truly outstanding...
Staff was amazing and the building is very clean. They upgraded us to a suite for our anniversary which was a very nice gesture that made our trip even more amazing. Highly recommend!!
My experience at this hotel was truly memorable. It was a truly wonderful hotel with a quiet space, a special lounge, a great location, and attention to detail in the renovation. To be honest, I was prepared for it to be a renovated prison, but it was a truly wonderful hotel. The breakfast also had the same items as those served in the bakery, and I went to buy some on my last day. I would like to...

This was the first hotel I booked in Berlin. The location was very convenient; a shopping street was just a short walk away, and it had everything you could want. There was even a Vietnamese pho restaurant across the street – it was delicious, and we ate everything! I didn't like bread, so I searched for ages before finally finding a pho restaurant right across the street. The environment was quiet...
The room is large, not a traditional chain hotel style, but very European style. The price is slightly higher, the location is not in the city center, travelers who focus on an experience can try it
The room is great, the service is great, and the surrounding transportation is very convenient. Recommended!
Very old-fashioned hotel. We booked it during the exhibition, more than 300 euros per night, not worth the price. The door locks are all old-fashioned keys, and the hotel door is small and always closed. I don't like it. The only advantage is that the room is big
Conveniently located. Warm and friendly reception staffs. Breakfast was overpriced at 34 Euros for a simple spread.
Very good experience, a hotel that reflects history and culture, great breakfast, good rooms, also recommended for family travel; the hotel location is great, nearby is a shopping street, within walking distance. In short, it is highly recommended to stay

This hotel is LGBT-friendly, and guests of all genders and ages are welcome to stay. The staff provide excellent service and give very helpful recommendations.
Not realised that it is a rainbow hotel until after we checked in. It is a bit out of city centre but there are many restaurants and shopping centre in the neighbourhood.
Good hotel, rooms are a bit small and it is indeed suitable for adults
Had a good time, low season so not much happening in the hotel if you were interested in having some drinks at the bar. We tried breakfast, good choice and amount for the price. Jacuzzi was nice , the gym had enough machines to workout the minimum. All staff was nice and polite and very helpful. Definitely recommend .
I recently stayed at the Axel Hotel in Berlin for three days, and overall, it was a good experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly welcomed by Javier and Valentina at the front desk. They were incredibly polite and professional, setting a great tone for my stay. The atmosphere of the hotel is vibrant and fun, with gay pop music creating a lively vibe throughout. The rooms are uniquely designed...
I’ve stayed many times at Axel. It’s the perfect hotel to be in the heart of the gay life. The service is always respectful and top notch. Shoutout to Valentina at the front desk! Axel is my favorite and I’m a long time customer who has been almost to their all locations :) If you’re reading this and considering this hotel, don’t hesitate and enjoy Gay Berlin!

The hotel had a hostel-like feel. A ceiling light in the entrance area of the comfort room was definitely missing, as it was so dark that it was difficult to find the slot for the room key. Reading the heating/ventilation settings in the dim light was only possible with a magnifying glass and a phone's flashlight. The bathroom was only separated by a curtain, and the bathtub was designed for very...
It was a very nice hotel. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was very friendly. I received an answer to every question.
Good stay: Easy check-in and check-out. Clean, spacious room. Good breakfast. Friendly staff. Good location near the S-Bahn/U-Bahn/tram.
Central location, very close to public transportation. Quiet room, full breakfast, and friendly staff. The stay was pleasant, although not 4-star.
Good location, well kept and managed. Would come back again
The hotel was clean and very nice but no one tells you about the parking garage (if you use their parking). You get a key fob, they tell you to scan it and it will open the tiny one-door garage. Your car has to fit perfectly in the little tray and then the garage shuts and the car elevator goes all the way down to the basement. I wasn’t aware that my husband should not have been in the car as it was...

I quite like this hotel. It’s close to the big train station (zoo station). Rooms are big and the bed is comfy. Washroom is really nice.
Try to get a room away from the street if you are a light sleeper. The rooms are small but clean. Weird bathroom door offers little privacy. But overall a good value and pleasant.
Good hotel for the money. Clean, comfortable bed and linen. There are robes and slippers.
Very very friendly staff at the reception. If you park your car next to it at the parking space the reception can also reduce the daily rate to 8 Euro per day. Breakfast also very good with many choices. Super close to all kind of shopping. Less than 5min to public transport.
The rooms are not big, but very cosy. Having complementary coffees, tea and even hot chocolate is a huge plus. Anyone we met during our 4-nights stay was very kind and helpful. Although the hotel offers only breakfast, the restaurant is open all day, offering even table games during the evening, and there are snacks and drinks you can enjoy while having fun. Huge advantage is the location, highly recommended...
I had an excelent experience. The room was perfectly clean and very well equiped (coffee machine, hair dryer, iron, lots of plugs). I was on the top floor facing the internal patio, and it was absolutely quiet. I had a problem with my bag (lost by the airline) and the hotel staff was very helpful with that. The hotel is functional. It’s a short train ride from the airport (in the direction away from Berlin) and a few hundred meters walk. Room was clean and comfortable enough. We had an issue with the AC and the staff offered a quick solution.
The rooms were very clean. The beds were very well maintained and we found rooms for 15 people at the last minute. Thanks to Wizz Airlines we were able to stay here for one night. The Berliner Kindl is also highly recommended. Overall 5 stars
I‘m impressed. I am from austria and me and my friends spontaneously went to berlin, but we looked for this hotel 1hr before we got there. Everything clean and super functional! From a former travel agency assistant. Wish you the best.
Travelled with a group of 109 students (age 15) and 32 adults. The crew at this hotel is amazing. Everything from check-in, arranging pizza party for the young ones at the roof terrace to help us organize breakfast and dinner. This stay was really remarkable when it comes to service and support. The rooms were clean and everything worked as expected. I can highly recommend this hotel for both business...
The hotel was fairly new and well kept. Clean rooms and common areas. A simple breakfast including what we needed and expected. Nice family rooms with modern bunkbeds. Stefan organised pizza delivery, mineralwater...
This is a clean hotel convenient to the metro and the airport. We appreciated the room set up with the bed and bunk beds so the family only needed one room. The staff was friendly. If you just need a basic night’s sleep before flying out, this is a great option.

Good breakfast selection. They had a grab and go option which was nice. A little pricey for the sit down, so 4 stars vs 5.
You can easily walk it from the Munich main station, and you can walk all through the old city to the main sites of interest. Made it very convenient unbeatable price beware there is no coffee maker or a fridge in the room.
The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The breakfast buffet was excellent. The front desk people were very helpful. It was convenient to great restaurants, shopping and attractions. We could walk to the museums and the opera. We will definitely book again next time we come to Berlin.
The hotel is in a great location with friendly front desk staff and the rooms are very big and spacious. Generator hostel is really good. Nice beds and very clean. The bathrooms are a bit of a mess to take a shower but nothing too worrisome. Staff is nice.
Self check-in was seamless. Shower room was clean. Only issue is card sometimes not working for the shower room
I recently had the opportunity to stay at Generator Berlin Prenzlauer Berg, and I must say, it exceeded my expectations in many ways. Firstly, the location of the hotel is fantastic. Situated in the trendy Prenzlauer Berg neighborhood, it offers easy access to various attractions, restaurants, and public transportation. The surrounding area is full of vibrant energy, with plenty of cafes, boutiques...
The room is quite sanitary, the bed is acceptable, but the public bathroom facilities are simple, the shower head is 360° full, and the water level is blocked. Since there are many teenage students, it is very noisy and unsupervised, but for the price, it is good for Berlin. It's quite cheap, and if you have high tolerance, it can be a good choice for travelers who don't want to spend their budget...
High cost performance, recommended
I loved the vibe of GENERATOR, the location and check-in were excellent, they could improve the care in the bathrooms, for example: change the shower curtains, they look a little worn. The cleaning staff was very friendly. There is an outside patio where you can hang out which makes you feel at home. I would return without a doubt

The windows on the lower floors are basically on street level, and there’s no air conditioning, so you are stuck either suffocating, or being woken up multiple times per night by the buses from the bus stop that is quite literally right under your window. The breakfast is ok, but for the price, I don’t know. Will not be staying with Best Western again.
The hotel locates 15 minutes away from Berlin HBF by subway. Very convenient to attractions but relatively affordable than hotels around the hbf. This hotel locates in a nice bustling residential area. There are many shops and cafes nearby. Room is spacious and clean.

Very nice room incl. mini fridge and water cooker for a low price. Comfortable bed and modern bathroom. The 'kitchenete" consists of a sink only. There are no cups, plates or cutlery available. A local, regional and mainland rail station is just 3 mins walking distance. I had a lovely stay and will book again.
Clean and comfortable room, with kitchenette for making tea or coffee, mini fridge. Entry to the facility without reception with a card. Check-in and check-out is quick and easy.
I was a bit worried because I'd read some negative reviews about the reception, but when I was fumbling a bit during check-in, someone came over to help me and was very kind. The room was clean, and the water pressure was good too.
This hotel is truly excellent! The views are stunning, it offers great value for money, and the service is top-notch. The facilities are also fantastic. You really get a lot for your money here. Plus, there's a subway station and a shopping area right downstairs, which is super convenient.
Surprisingly good! It's a five-minute walk from the metro, right next to the huge Healthland shopping mall. Good value for money. It seems to be a Turkish-invested hotel, as there's a Turkish flag displayed outside. The front desk staff were very polite, and the receptionist was a lovely Turkish lady. You can self-check-in or check-in with an agent.

My wife and I had a wonderful four-night stay at the Oraina Hotel. The room, and all facilities, were very clean and well laid out. We loved the large windows in our room with a view to the Oranienplatz. The staff in the hotel, restaurant, and bar were very courteous and helpful.
Wonderful stay. Very welcoming staff and beautiful ambiance. Great music venue for those that love jazz.
Room was excellent and well appointed with walk in shower. Gorgeous window. Comfortable bedding
One of our best stays anywhere. In a bohemian part of the city with lots of local restaurants. Easy to catch a bus to the city centre but also only a 20-25 minute walk. Great and friendly service. The bar and restaurant are beautifully styled with excellent food. Try the duck!
The staff is simply outstanding. So friendly! Everyone speaks English, so those of us who are not fluent in German are very comfortable at this property. The atmosphere is super comfortable. The hotel has a unique atmosphere being a former public pool and spa. The rooms are spacious and clean, but do not expect them to be modern, they have a lot of charme
Breakfast was VERY expensive considering the choice/quality. I would prefer to spend less money in nearby independant businesses... The initial room I had was VERY hot and SMELLY.
