I stayed in more than hundred hotels/hostels but the staff here is for sure the slowest and not friendly. The bathrooms are very dirty but the kitchen is okay.
WiFi is very very slow.
The hostel is an emergency sleeping place for many homeless people because it is the cheapest accommodation in Frankfurt. The location is good, near the train station but in a dangerous area at the same time, too. High crime rate.
I will never stay here again, I couldn't sleep at all.

What a glum location. The rooms are clean and quiet but they lost my reservation and booked me into a room that was already full. Staff were helpful and found an alternative for me but still not good. There's no bar and no atmosphere. The all you can eat breakfast is cheap, but a very poor selection of food. All you can eat salami isn't a very good breakfast.

I read many many comments , but honestly it depends on that you get which room . rooms are from 4 beds to 14 beds . Receptions some are good some are bad , staff too . the people that are staging are terrible , chill out lounge is awful , full of mice . the wc s are dirty all the time , bathrooms are a little bit better. If you want to relax it depends on roommates.

Disgusting, dirty, unhealthy dirty, unkept, rude, find better. Crack and drug users around the corner, we arrived from airport late with taxi and saw people shooting up needles in their veins and smoking crack and drugs and police drove by and didn't care. Worst hostel I've ever stayed in. First two floors are kept for normal customers, then the floors after the second floor are for refugees and asylum seekers (I met them, great people, some of the guys told me awful stories about their homes and their countries and their experiences, very heart moving). The refugees are all good, didn't have any problems and they in fact made the stay more interesting in a positive way. That's NOT the reason for my one star negative review. Apparently the German govt or something like it pays the hostel a certain amount per refugee for room and board and services but the owners of this place are clearly not caring about cleanliness. Our bathroom in an 8 room shared was not cleaned in the two days we stayed here. Toilet didn't have any toilet paper after the second day. At night the german police brought in a person and handed him to the security (who informed they are security for the hostel, like he was proud of it). I really came excited to check it out but I'm disgusted by how unkept and dirty it is. Disaster. The refugees are actually really cool guys, had drinks with them and they spoke fluent English, they were kind and polite and never felt threatened. I don't even care about the fact they had refugees staying here, in fact I think that's awesome and I got to meet some very interesting people and hear interesting stories. In fact my experience was better because of it, but what turned me off and put me off was how dirty it is. I recommend finding another place, this place needs cleaning. And that's the major complaint. Also, bring your own towels, and hair dryer if you use them, and I recommend you bring with you rubber bathroom/pool slippers for the bathroom, it gets disgusting in there (urine on floor). Bring your own pillow, the one they provide is approximately 16 cm long by 5 cm wife (you have to roll it like a tee shirt to be able to sleep). Bring your own shampoo and soap, not provided. Check out my photos of the hostel. So yea, unless frankfurt has run out of hostels or hotels, I would not recommend staying here. First night of our arrival, we arrived late, we saw one of the drug users near the hostel (40 meters away) squat down on street and use the bathroom, #2 (not urine). Drug users left you alone, no one bothered us but be prepared to lose your appetite and be shocked and disgusted and annoyed. If this is why you are here, to feel what I just mentioned above, then be their guest. Otherwise take my advice and don't come. I recommend Sechenweisen or something like it across the river, cool hip young and full of Germans and expats, lots to do and amazing food and restaurants. Or even the other hostels around the city but just make sure you contact the property beforehand. I did and they didn't respond when I had sent them an email and I was like "oh they're just busy" but now looking back, I'm thinking I should have cancelled and booked somewhere else. It's been a real learning experience, a disgusting one, but at least I met some cool people who happen to have lost their homes to war and civil strife. I really liked all of the refugee guys I met here and I wish them the best.
