Reviews
The security is good. You need a key card to get up to the floor you are staying on, so no non guests can enter.
The cons - the service is atrocious. No one answers the phone when you call the front desk.
The shower in the bathroom is incapable of staying hot, and keeps fluctuating.
There are no switches near the bed to charge your phones. And they won’t provide adaptors if you forget any.
Their WiFi doesn’t work! It keeps connecting and disconnecting, and the only time it’s operational is if you stand still in one spot and even then it’s a game of chance.
The rooms are pretty basic and the biggest feature for why I personally had booked - the walkway to the fairground - is closed. They have blocked it off so you have to venture outside to enter.
In my opinion there are definitely better hotels to stay at, at a more reasonable price. The Maritim is an overpriced hype and not worth it.
The bar in the evening was oke.
But the best part is the Bar. Lifestyle..
Bring it back to the old days!!!with music and life. It used to be the center of our exhibition life. The team leader is extraordinary.
To the management, please, please...we all miss it
Unfortunately, we had a big issue with the parking. We were not informed at check-in that parking needs to be paid. There were no clear signs in the parking area explaining this, except for a payment machine, which we assumed was only for visitors or non-hotel guests.
As a result, we were charged 90 euros for less than two days of parking, which was very unexpected and disappointing. Better communication and clearer signage regarding parking fees would make a big difference and avoid situations like this for future guests.
