Hotel Rossija in Frankfurt am Main

My husband and I had a terrible stay at Hotel Rossija in Frankfurt. The hotel is located in the heart of the red-light district, surrounded by substance abusers and women who offer their explicit services. We had to ring a bell to enter, and the staff took ages to respond, while we were exposed to the potentially unsafe environment. Inside, the hotel was filthy – dirty towels, stained linens, broken sockets, and an overall unsanitary environment. Shockingly, the hotel apparently serves as an hour-hotel for the clientele outside. My husband was approached by a woman inside the hotel asking if he wanted to sleep with her. This place appears like a health hazard and completely ruined our trip. We spent 200 CHF for 2 nights, for that price I’d rather sleep on the street (but a different street). I don’t want to give even a one star to this place!! Avoid at all costs! Report to the booking platform if you made the same experience.

On January 3rd and 4th, 2025, I noticed that my account was charged twice at the property in Frankfurt. As of now, I have not received any compensation for this issue.

Sanitation is poor and public safety is very poor.

You get what you pay for, lice and ticks
You get what you pay for, 60€ and it was absolutely horrible, bugs on the bed, smoke and condition of the place is very run down. It's insane how these places exist like this. The area has some nicer places for €40-50 more!

I was put to Hotel Crown and it was terrible, dirty. The whole area is full of junks.

I am very disappointed with my stay at this hotel. We had booked two rooms, and unfortunately, both were problematic. The first had a water leak in the bathroom, and the window didn't close properly, making the night uncomfortable. The second room was a smoking room, which wasn't mentioned when we booked, and it smelled unpleasant, in addition to being cold.

Besides the rooms, the surrounding neighborhood is also worrying. There were groups of people drinking alcohol and loitering outside, which doesn't inspire a sense of security, especially for a family. I strongly advise against this hotel for anyone looking for a safe and clean place.
