There are multiple stairs before you get to the lobby. If you have a lot of luggage it is very difficult to get your luggage up. The staff member at reception who was doing nothing saw me struggling and didn’t even offer to help. He was also quite rude. And even though two of us had checked in, there was only one towel for the two of us in the bathroom. Besides that the only available parking is across a very busy street and that is not listed when you’re looking the property up. The parking situation is terrible.

Great service at the front desk, they recommended some local restaurants and pubs to try during my stay. Room was very cool! A bit of a maze to get to, but it had a lovely view and was very cozy. I wish I could’ve stayed longer!

The hotel is in a great location for bars and restaurants. Brauhaus Paeffgen (a favourite) is minutes away. The Dom and Hbf are a 15-20 minute walk away.
The hotel is clean, our room was spacious, though some of the decor is a little tired.
Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty.
I would stay again.

This is not a 4-star hotel.
This is not a 4-star hotel - maybe 3 om a good day. Hotel is old but kept in fair condition. The service was questionable, and the breakfast is at best 2 stars. You can do a lot better than this for the price!

The hotel is very well located and clean. The only problem is that it's closed on Sundays, so I couldn't leave my bags there.

It was a horrible experience. The picture what I booked and what I have been offered was completely different. The room for about 172€ (tourist tax) should not be that outdated and if you book a non-smoking room then the room should not smell that level. I could not sleep entire night. Smell was just terrible. I didnt pay to get horrible Cologne holiday. I hope ******* will take serious actions. I believe ******* cares for its customers.
