The hotel exceeded my expectations, it is much better than many 5* hotels. Stylish design, everything is in excellent condition, everything is very clean. Check-in is fast, and the staff is very friendly and welcoming

Nice rooms, good breakfast, and the sauna was a nice bonus; oh yes, the coffee machine and the small refrigerator in the room were also very good.

I was looking forward to this hotel, first the check in process took a while, the receptionist was not very friendly. In return the room was very clean, spacious and the breakfast was varied.

Comfortable, you can take the breakfast there, or go outside, there is a baker at the corner, very nice, the room is nice and clean. You can use fitness studio and Sauna in hotel, it's free

There are trams line 1, 7 and 13 near the hotel

Clean, good location and decent enough especially for the price. Easy check in and check out, and accessible to loads of areas.

Location was good, everything was close by or within an ok walking distance, rooms are very small and beds are not brilliant feels like a cheap mattress with a topper chucked on top could feel where previous people had slept with the dents in the mattress, shower n toilet area very small but to be fair it was ok for the few nights we was there, few black hairs on the bathroom floor if i was to be picky...

Hotel wasn't great, the room was too small especially the toile and bathroom. Location was good .

Everything here is great. The staff is very friendly. But the room was very cold. I really like the minimalism, but I would have liked a small closet for coats.

The location slightly far from the central station and other sightseeing , yet it walkable . There is a tram station infront Of this hotel which will be handy if someone don’t wish to walk much .

Overall it was a good experience.

At first, I chose the expensive superior room, and the carpet looked old, not as good as the cheaper business room. I stayed in the room directly opposite the elevator, and it was not very noisy

It is a must-stay every time I go on a business trip. The scenery outside the room is very beautiful. You can see the Cologne Cathedral. It is recommended to stay here. It is a little far from the city

OK for one night but with a heater that doesn't get warm enough it's a disaster, I was freezing in the room. The faucet could do with a new one. And then they put a bottle of water out there without a bottle opener

Extremely charming and wonderful hotel, staff, and facilities! I will stay at this hotel going forward when in Cologne - both modern and classic at the same time, with a fantastic location that is very fairly priced, and the breakfast is wonderful! I spent over an hour nibbling on everything I could possibly taste, and the staff was warm and kind the entire time, refilling my coffee and jumping to...

Great gluten- and lactose-free breakfast. I only left a short note in my reservation, and the hotel was well informed. They got me my separate bread immediately when arriving at the restaurant

Ten from York fire Christmas markets and pals birthday. Rooms were great excellent showers. Breakfast covered all the bases. Staff on reception very helpful. Sorted out Koln Cards for us and 2 taxis back to airport

Overall it's alright, except the quilt wasn't very clean, with some hair left by the previous guest, and the quilt cover was of poor quality. Otherwise it's pretty good.

The main reason is that the surrounding environment of the hotel is very good, with a large forest, lush and green, walking around and looking around, the mood is also comfortable, the breakfast is relatively average

Had a wonderful stay at Best Western Plus Hotel. Service is excellent and amenities are 5 star. Bathrobes, towels, slippers, and toiletries are all excellent qualities

Plus Coffee machine with 4 or 5 types of coffee flavors complete with milk or creamer, and also different tea sachets, and chips all free to enjoy and replenish daily

And at the lobby they have a small kiosk with chips, chocolates, and snacks and drinks all free to enjoy. Would book again if ever I visit Cologne

The location is a bit far from the city center, which may not be ideal if you plan to explore the downtown area frequently. Check-in is only available after 3:00 PM, which felt a bit inconvenient

The service was just average — staff were not particularly warm or welcoming

As soon as I arrived at the hotel, I was impressed by the warm hospitality of the staff. The room was wider and cleaner than the photos, and the bedding was soft and I was able to get a good night's sleep

Using the sauna costs an extra charge per person which might not be common in other hotels we visited. On the other hand, it probably helps to keep the sauna in good shape

Conclusion: Despite the hotel's good location and acceptable front desk service, the room size, bed design, towel cleanliness, and especially the lack of essential items (like soap) without proactive replenishment, significantly affected my experience

The hotel is a bit far from Cologne Central Station. While access to tourist attractions isn't great, it's close to the subway station. Being away from the city center means it's very quiet at night

The room had almost no amenities, but I was able to borrow a kettle, plates, and forks from the front desk. The room itself was very clean

Nice rooms, good Breakfast selection. The shower / bathroom were in my room and in the Breakfast room it was very "client deemed".

Stayed with family before Christmas, it was quiet, walking distance from the centre and public transport outside the hotel. Big choice of breakfast and the room we stayed in was big for all of us.

Friendly staff at the front desk. There’s no pool (in case you see the pictures from old reviews). You can hear the tram but not enough to bother us. The hotel is right in front of the Arena and near tram station

Breakfast was good, rooms were a little small but enough for one person. Sadly the TV didn't functioned perfectly. Netflix and many Channels weren't available but didn't mind it since it was just one night

There are two things that I liked about this room – it is spacious and it does not get much better than this for its price. However, it is further and more inconvenient to commute to the city centre than the map suggests

We had a flawless check-in, even though we arrived late. The in-house bar was open until midnight. We did face some issues with the sink and flush, but our room was changed immediately

Great place to admire some of the greatest Formula 1 cars in the history. Surrounded by trophies and a collection of other suvenires creates good atmosphere. Some of other road going cars are amazing too

This is a very unique and interesting hotel. It offers very good food options, but staff attendance could be better.

The best part of the stay was the desk attendants ( Olga and Constance). They did everything they could to make the stay the best it could be.   Overall the room was way overpriced for what it offered

Great, relaxed place with free entrance to the Schumacher collection. Definitely would recommend. Also a restaurant and shop where people are super friendly and you can relax.

Super easy check-in and check-out. Friendly staff. The frosted glass wall between the shower and the bed could be a bit confusing. We were very satisfied with everything.

It took me around 15 mins to walk from the station to the hotel which was all on the same level. Great location only 200yds from river and 5-10min walk to bars and restaurants

The hotel is excellently located in Cologne. There are plenty of international restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

Breakfast is a bit too expensive - 22 eur - we chose to have breakfast in the city instead. Overall good value for its money, with a few things hotel could easily fix to make it much nicer :)

It was good in general. But some equipment was not working in order. And as the only elevator doesn’t have the sign from the floor side, it was a bit not convenient.

The room was nice and quiet, located in the lower-end part of the city center, conveniently located near the train station and airport, and within walking distance of Cologne Cathedral

Great Location! Especially for night life. Pubs, restaurants, shops, supermarket, clubs everything very handy. Transportation too. The accommodation was offering everything needed.

While it's a bit of a distance from the Cologne Exhibition Center, it's conveniently located right next to the subway station, making it very accessible

stayed in spacious comfort room for weekend. comes with complimentary minibar that means 2 beers and two bottles of water. hotel is nice and clean, staff speaks good english and lobby kiosk is open pretty much 24/7

I stay here every year during the Cologne Exhibition. The transportation is convenient and there is a Lidl supermarket next to it. The only drawback is that there is not much food nearby.

The price was really expensive during the Cologne exhibition. The room facilities were decorated in an older style. It was clean, but no cleaning was done on the day of the visit

Great hotel location, but room view wasn't very good. Excellent service from hotel staff and even provided a complimentary bottle of Prosecco for my birthday. Room was very hot and pillows not so good though

Perfect location for a trip to Cologne. The hotel has everything you need, nice comfy rooms, a small fitness room if you want to use it. Breakfast is good and plenty of choice

The room was very small with a very tiny bathroom. On the other side, the staff were very polite and helpful. The location is excellent, meters away from the railway station and the cathedral.

Entrance to the hotel is straight line walking a cross the Brenzlauer Platz, about 100 m. Two small downsides: The mattress of the bed should be renewed and replaced with a harder one

And their was some disturbing noise (I am sensitive to noise, in particular at night) from either the compressor or larger blower of some air-conditioning (mine AC was switched off)

It might be a bit noisy during the day, as the area downstairs is quite lively, but the street empties out at night. There are various supermarkets and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient overall

The single room was indeed very small, haha, a bit like a student dormitory. However, the hygiene services were acceptable, and there was a complimentary bottle of sparkling water in the refrigerator

Receptionist Ismena and others did their job perfectly. The housekeeping staff also was good. The hotel is very central within easy reach of shops, eating places and metro, trams, buses and the Central Station

The location was also excellent, right on Hoch Street; you can walk from the train station along Hoch Street and browse all the various shops

Wonderful place with a good breakfast. I bit outside central Cologne but within walking distance and close to Zoo and Botanical Garden. Parking usually available on the street for 5 Euro for 24 hours.

Located in a quiet side street near the Rhine. Comfortable room, very quiet hotel, friendly staff & breakfast. 5 minutes walk from Reichensperger Platz U Bahn metro station a couple of stops from Köln Hbf & the Dom

The room view of the Rhine River and the bridge was an amazing experience. When you enter the room, you feel as if you are in the 1950s, and the hotel was very clean

Perfect place to stay if you want to visit Koelnmesse (you can get a lime for under 3€ or a cab for 6-7€). Descent breakfast, rooms have only the basics and no a/c

A Hotel with very personal friendly Service. The Hotel is being renovated and we have one of the great new rooms. The location on the Rhine is really nice. Breakfast buffet very extensive, and W-lan free of charge

Very nice staff. My room was very clean. Breakfast was ok...unfortunately you have to pay extra for cappuccino. In my opinion this should be included in the price

We stayed here for 3 nights to visit the Christmas markets, the location is very good. We were walking distance from the cathedral and Christmas markets. Our room had a lovely view of the river

The nearest underground station is heumarkt. Colognes main train station Köln hbf was also only a 15 min walk along the river side. Trains from here to the airport cost €3. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful

We had breakfast one morning of our stay which was nice and plenty of choice. Our room was modern and comfortable. We had a kettle, coffee maker and a fridge which also had a minibar

The curtains are quite transparent and there are no blackout blinds, so the room gets bright very early in the morning. The bed was also a bit too soft for our taste, and the water pressure in the shower was quite low
