The room was suitable for a short stay, but the bathroom had a slightly strange smell. The room was well-equipped, and although the hotel has an elevator, it was out of order, making carrying heavy luggage somewhat difficult. The breakfast was excellent, with a variety of cold meats, fruit, pastries, yogurt, and delicious toppings.

Unfortunately I found several visible bed bugs on my bed so I wouldn’t say it was the cleanest place to stay.

Stay was ok but even for 3* I found various factors very upsetting; #1. Stairwell main fire escape ALL doors were wedged open!! Is this legal?! #2. Facilities: The hotel is quite old, and the elevator is tiny, full of vintage charm. The main issue was the bathroom: there's no floor drain, so after showering, the whole bathroom was flooded. Cleanliness: The cleanliness was decent. Environment: It's not far from the station and there are plenty of good places to eat nearby, which is convenient. Service: It was alright, nothing special.

It’s a renovated hotel with larger space in the room, however few facilities are broken or unavailable, such as bug crack on glass and no boiling kettle. But it can be borrowed from the friendly reception.

Rooms are a bit outdated but I got a great view with the Cathedral out of my window (4th floor). Hot shower, comfortable bed, friendly staff.

Nice hotel - we had a double room which came with a view of the cathedral. The bed wasn't a double but two singles pushed together, which was fine. Beds were very soft, pillows were poor (very very thin). Overall reasonable for the money, especially given the location I would stay again.

The hotel is quite remote, so I had trouble finding it even after taking a taxi. Otherwise, everything was great, from the generous breakfast to the great staff, air conditioning, and clean rooms with comfortable beds.

Modern, functional, poor breakfast. Modern, simple, clean hotel, unfortunately poor breakfast, lacking in love—only the cheapest, canned fruit salad, terrible rolls, cheap cold cuts, terrible scrambled eggs, etc.

Great location. Everything is within easy reach and it's quiet. They have a handheld hairdryer and disposable slippers. The bed is huge and comfortable.

It's close to Cologne Cathedral, and you could even see a little bit of the top of the cathedral from the balcony! Because the room was spacious, the heating wasn't very effective. Also, the entrance to the hotel was a little hard to find. There was a supermarket called REWE downstairs. I was able to use hot water from the kettle in what seemed to be the breakfast area in front of the front desk.

The location is convenient and the room is clean and quiet. The space is great too. It is also very convenient to walk to the exhibition venue.

It is very close to the city center and can be reached on foot. Check in at 3 pm. If you arrive early, you can store your luggage for free. The service staff is very enthusiastic. I will choose this hotel next time.

The hotel provides only basic amenities, and is located on the top level of a parking garage which i found a bit inconvenient. Also the fact that we needed to wait for half an hour for check in because reception was empty didn't make it better. The location is in the very center of the city though.

The room was spotless with a very comfortable bed. A balcony is available upon request for smokers. Parking is available for €16 per day. It's close to the center (15-minute walk). The staff were very welcoming.

Warm welcome It's a lovely small hotel in my favourite city. I haven't used Hotel Boulevard for a few years (just down to logistic) but a warn welcome from a member of staff who'd remembered me (personal touch is always nice).

Stayed in Cologne 6.2.25. Got the 4-bed family room. Plenty of space for us all. Very roomy, clean and comfortable. The lift is small and stairs are steep, no big deal. Dinner recommendation was on point! Only down side is trying to find parking to check in. The parking garage is half a block away and once accessed super easy. Totally recommend staying here!

Having Turkish staff at the hotel was no problem for me at all. The room attendants were very kind and polite. The hotel breakfast was good. I was happy with the hotel and the price. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, breakfast is good. It’s also quite central but the downside of this is that it’s a bit noisy.

Review is for Restaurant only. Had dinner here and really enjoyed the experience. Servers were friendly, menues had pictures which helped selecting dishes. Portion sizes and prices were fair for the location. We gad a salmon pasta and a chicken skewer with mash and salad. Chicken was super tender but the pasta needed some seasoning or olive oil /lemon just to elevate it a bit.

The staff was always so nice to me, really friendly and helpful at all times. I stayed in the hotel and everything was really clean and functional. I assume I was a bit concerned due to being such an old looking hotel but I ended up finding it really cosy and full of history! Very well located and nice outside space to take a few beers. The room layout and staff were great but the thing that let down the whole experience the most was how echoey the staircase was and leading to the sound being heard in the room. The hotel was very nice overall. The rooms were very modern, clean, and well maintained. The location is excellent, right in the heart of the old town, Alter Markt and the Rhine just a few steps away. The breakfast was very good, served in the adjoining cafe. The hotel is in a residential neighborhhod, with pleasant cafes and shops. It is clean, and nicely furnished, with friendly staff, and a good breakfast. The hotel was low cost and that is what you get, no frills, but it was clean and the cleaners were really friendly as were all the staff. Very close to the Cathedral and train station within one block. In the middle of all of the restaurants and historic area.
