Excellent location and friendly staff.

As others have mentioned the shower pressure is good in a typical small European combined bathroom. The location is the great. No frills but clean and close to everything. Tv not working but no front desk. No in room temperature control but seems to be a timed system. For us in December it was a cold room.

Very close to the Cathedral and train station within one block. In the middle of all of the restaurants and historic area. No staff really on site, a desk clerk for a few hours but nothing needed, the instructions are clear and they contacted me before our arrival. Our room was quite large with an upstairs loft!

Pretty mid hotel. Room was clean, but lobby is completely under construction but didn’t start until later in the day, so I wasn’t disturbed. Wasn’t able to store my backpack anywhere before and after check in. Location is fantastic, close to restaurants, shopping and attractions.

Good location. It's in walkable distance from most tourist attractions in Köln. Room are smoke-free. Downside is that the rooms are extremely smaller and the facilities in room/washroom are inadequate.

It's in a very quiet location, even though the motorway and road are right next door. The bed is comfortable and a good size for two people. I'd gladly stay there again.

It was almost clean, the location was normal too, a 10-minute walk to the S-Bahn (suburban train), and from there it's a 15-minute ride to Cologne Central Station. I didn't use any service. The door opens with a key code. The code isn't easy to write, so it doesn't open properly... otherwise everything was fine.

There's a small convenience store nearby, plus a K-Pop store. There are supermarkets a five-minute bus ride away, but the location is a bit disappointing. It's isolated at night.

I never miss a stay at this hotel, which, in addition to being less than 2 km from the airport, is also a welcoming and relaxing place. We paid attention to the details of the furnishings, with a high-quality breakfast, and two attentive and very kind managers. The price couldn't be lower.

It's very remote, in a residential area, very quiet. Basically it is a low-cost operation. The facilities are very old. It was supposed to be relatively close to the airport, but road construction has made traveling less convenient. Fortunately it's cheap

Seems to be family-owned small hotel. Despite of the name, restaurant didn't work. Nice lobby but the room is below average even for 3*. Don't see any single reason for 4* for this place. Breakfast is extra but okay. Overall, okay for quick overnight stay but certainly no more.

Decent price for this kind of hotel, clean rooms, efficient service, big bathrooms, soft beds, gets a bit hot in the summer. The hotel has a kitchen and washing areas, so that provides some advantages against other places for longer visits, i recommend registering on their site for a better register process

Walking distance from the train station so very conveniently located and not too far to drag our luggage. It was quirky in that there were no keys you had to input your last name into a kiosk and then it gave you a code for the front door and a different one for your room. We were on the fourth floor. The reality was not at all what was advertised online. I arrived at the hotel and the reception area was quite run down and was not the actual location of my room. There was not a hotel but rather a boarding house self-entry building four blocks away.

Centrally located which was great for getting to all the tourist places but so noisy as everyone makes they’re way around. A lot of street dwellers contribute to this, by playing loud music! The place was pretty neat to live in. The room was mostly clean, the bed was also decent. Most of the sights are located not too far from the hotel. There are also many restaurants in the vicinity. The view from our room was pretty average for a city.

We used this hotel now for 4 years each time we are going on holiday. The location is very handy. There is no need to go far away from the motorway, which is close by from exit on both ways. The hotel is always clean, and the service is good. Part of the hotel is a secure car park.

What a beautiful small independent hotel in old town overlooking the beach and dove park. Usually stay in the big chain hotels and as it was a last minute holiday decided to book here at a very good price and so glad I did!! The view from the room is breathtaking to wake up to. The outside restaurant which i think is called the Captains Table is a lovely place to sit and people watch . The all girl staff are great and work hard . However the food is poor and overpriced . You are paying for the view and position of the restaurant , certainly not the food . Friendly welcome, good size room, lovely view and very clean. Excellent location in the old town and steps from the beach. The guys on reception were so friendly! Would definitely stay again. Found the ladies in the restaurant a bit grumpy, but wouldn't put us off staying again.

Comfortable Ibis budget hotel with convenient location for the motorway. Breakfast was simple but nice and staff were welcoming. I look for this Hotel just because it’s very good at its location, and you can easily get the connectivity. Rooms are pretty much good, clean and livable. This was the second time I got an experience staying in this hotel during the hot summer days in cologne and I missed air-conditioning room, which they don’t have, they provide fan. Stayed here for one night. Nice hotel. The rooms are fine, but the shower looks like it’s from the early 1900s. Who still uses a shower curtain these days? It’s not hygienic, especially in a hotel! The breakfast was disappointing too better to skip it.

The hotel is a no frills basic hotel. Pros - the bed was very comfortable, the breakfast buffet was nice and easy check in. Cons- location was a bit further from the markets, the shower could use an update and our neighbors were noisy at night.

Had a wonderful stay. The evening meal at the restaurant was amazing, the best steak I've ever had, and the red wine was pretty good aswell. Would recommend highly. Also a refreshing High pressure shower to wake me up next morning.

The rooms were clean, and when I told the staff I would be leaving before 5 AM, they clearly explained how to check out and leave the hotel, since the reception desk wouldn't be there at that time. The elevator was small and different from those in Japan, so it was a little difficult to use at first, but I got used to it and it wasn't a problem.

The owners are very friendly and accommodating; we felt very comfortable. The room wasn't quite ready upon arrival, but they took care of it quickly and easily. We would definitely come back.

A totally adequate night for a reasonable amount of money. Room had just enough space to walk from the shower room to the bed but no more. Everything was spotlessly clean and the mattress was fine. The location of the Sion Hotel is great, right near the Heumarkt and the cathedral. Nice staff, good breakfast buffet. The double rooms and bathrooms are a bit small, but you don't spend too long in the hotel. Parking was possible in the parking garage at the Heumarkt.

Prices were higher during the exhibition. The rooms were connecting, accommodating large families, but the hallways were a bit narrow. However!!! The croissants at breakfast were the most unforgettable food of our trip! Freshly served hot, they were so delicious!! Even our elders, who don't like bread, kept talking about how good they were!!
