Minoa Hotel in Malia

Before the arrival we were calling the hotel and no one was answering the calls for like a week or so. Anyway, We arrived at the hotel, at first glance the reception room was empty. It smelled cigarettes everywhere. We waited for half an hour until a guy showed up. He welcomed us and took as to our room. The room was simple double bedroom. To note here the air conditioning is charged extra 5€ a day. the remote for the tv was broken and the tv itself didn't open.The WiFi was super slow, tbh the ferry's wifi was faster than that one. The shower is problematic. It's either freezing cold or boiling hot. We barely made it out of it. The double bed is actually two singles collided. And in the middle of both of the beds there is a port for a charger which is very annoying because if you are a couple you cant have contact with your partner. We hit our head there every now and then.
Only one side of the bed had bedside table.
The lightning in the room is barely noticeable. And on top of that, in the photo's we see a pool so we seeked for one. Pool was nowhere to be found, it was under construction without water. Also when we booked this hotel it said that we would have an European breakfast and could enjoy a drink in the restaurant of the hotels place. Restaurant was nowhere to be found once again and also no breakfast was served at all. In a single word it's a disaster. It's ok if you want to stay for a day but for sure it's not a great place to enjoy your Holiday's.
Also it's pretty expensive for what it provides.
