Chania Town, 8 Kolokotroni (in the centre) 🧭 Map
We recently enjoyed a fabulous 11 night stay at M City Hotel and can highly recommend it to everyone. Centrally located and only a short walk to the old town of Chania, M City Hotel is ideally positioned to take advantage of Chania’s attractions. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was buffet style and had a good selection of both savoury and sweet dishes. Staff were lovely and...
The welcoming feeling goes beyond the arrival. It is all way till the end, when the team thank you and says "hope see you again" - priceless. The whole team, from receptionist and cleaners to management, they are very friendly and helpful. They offer toiletry produced locally. It was so go that we found the brand shop and bought some to take home. They offer all the best. The whole room/ bathroom very...
Enjoyed our 4 day stay very much. Excellent location few minutes walk from shops, restaurants and accessible walk into Chania centre/ port. Plenty of shops and cute lanes, and places to eat / drink. Bus garage next door takes you to various places and airport cheaply. Eg we went on lovely day trip to Rethymonos Room is medium sized , clean and comfy. Bed little soft for our liking. Staff helpful...
The M City Hotel is an exceptional boutique hotel located in the heart of Chania with a short walk into the Old Town. Breakfast is very good and most importantly the staff is very helpful and informative if you need assistance. Katarina was amazing and was very helpful in every way.
Amazing friendly staff, customer service was great 👍
Excellent stay The hotel was new, centrally located and had everything we needed.

Spotless room with balcony. We arrived earlier than expected and the room was already prepared for us. Great breakfast, hot and cold food with plenty of choice. Hotel is very well located for exploring Chania and would use again
Great hotel location, very friendly staff, room was very clean and spacious with a balcony. Would stay here again when visiting Chania.
Property is located in an excellent location No elevator and we needed to walk up two flights of stairs that were steep. Standard room category are rooms with windows facing back alleys No view!! Rooms with balconies are much nicer but non available for an up grade. Very basic breakfast Bread was fresh and delicious. Rooms were clean
Great location, loved the breakfast, staff very helpful. Spent time on the small balcony overlooking pedestrian street. Bed was very comfortable too.
We only stayed one night. They let us store our luggage when we arrived early in the morning. The location is stellar, in the old town. But there was no parking, so we parked 15 minutes away and had to walk in with our luggage. Our room was large and clean.
Awesome Experience, staff super friendly and helpful. Although property is hundreds of years in or but the Rooftops rooms were all upgraded and clean. Location is the best if you like to experience living in the old town experience. 👍👍

Beautifull, stunning room, exceptional. Location excellent. Staff very helpful and friendly. Breakfast amazing. Chefs so friendly and warm. Recommemded for any traveller. The real Greece experience. 10/10 Loved it.
The whole experience was amazing from the room to the staff to the breakfast The location was great roof deck a pleasant surprise. Definitely recommend this hotel highly
room was beautiful! staff was very helpful and accommodating. would stay here again:)
I found the breakfast to be very satisfying with ample options for everyone. The room was in great condition considering the age of the original structure. The only thing that didn’t rate outstanding to me was the comfort of the sheets, they were rougher than I prefer. This is a GREAT property, staff was very welcoming and I highly recommend it for anyone traveling to Chania, select a room with...
Breakfast was fabulous. I had room 7 with balcony view, only 8 rooms on property. Be aware that Old Town Chania is pedestrian only, so must carry your own luggage for about 10 minutes on cobblestones. There is no elevator, upon checkin there is staff to carry luggage upstairs, but no one to assist upon checkout.
Cool boutique hotel. Our rooms overlooked the water and was close to lots of activities. Hotel was friendly, helpful, and well managed.

Would stay again! Great hotel large lovely room, comfortable beds and beautiful view from deck. Really Good complementary breakfast lots of selection. We loved the location so close to waterfront restaurants and nice walk to old town. Very friendly helpful staff.
Everything was amazing ! I highly recommend this hotel and will be my first choice next time I visit Chania again.
I had a wonderful experience at the hotel. I stayed for 4 nights, with the last night in the suite. The rooms were spacious, well-equipped, and kept spotless thanks to frequent cleaning. The air conditioning worked well, and the staff were exceptionally pleasant and always ready to help. The breakfast was fantastic, offering a wide variety of options to suit every taste. I also enjoyed the spa — the...
A nice hotel with a pool and SPA near old town Chania with a nice breakfast buffet. You can walk to the old town along the sea. There was a welcome cocktail for every guest. We had a nice stay there for three nights.
Staff accommodated my need to stay an additional night and let me stay in the same sea view room. Also, the hotel is two blocks from the beach. Very convenient for a swim.
Clean, good condition and friendly staff. Loved our stay here. The location is very central but at the same time quiet. We went during the low season so might have been lucky regarding that as well. Very friendly and helpful staff, great cleaning staff! The breakfast was good. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Our go-to hotel for stays in Chania; well maintained hotel with comfortable clean rooms, friendly staff and an excellent breakfast service with eggs etc cooked to order as well as an excellent cold buffet selection.
Porto Veneziano Hotel is right in front of harbor. Our hotel balcony has beautiful harbor view. The breakfast was excellent with different choices. The staff is a bit laid back. Although there are restaurants outside the hotel, the hotel location is 10-15 minutes walkable to the center area with shopping and restaurants. still close distance.
Our stay at Porto Veneziano was great! The location was convenient, many restaurants within walking distance, and the staff were helpful in making reservations.
The Hotel Porto Veneziano is by far one of the best locations for Chania. The view from our 3rd floor balcony was amazing. Perfect for a glass of wine and the view in the evening. It is easy walking distance to interesting areas of this beautiful town. The staff goes over and above to please the visitors. The bar is great. Friendly bar tender and the included breakfast was delicious. As I said the...
Gorgeous hotel with great location and breakfast is awesome. Rooms are small but nice. No Dresser to put clothes away but has closet.
Always an awesome stay! This is our go-to hotel in Chania. The rooms are quiet and spotless. The staff from the front desk to dining room to housekeeping are always professional and friendly. Crete has two main cities: Heraklion, the cradle of Western civilization, and Chania (also known as Chania), a city repeatedly invaded by other empires. Since our next destination was Santorini by boat from Crete, which could only depart from Heraklion port, we opted to take a boat from Athens to Chania first, and then a bus from Chania to Heraklion. Considering we'd be traveling by bus for the next...

Located centrally, this hotel is stunning. Parking can be a bit tricky if you are used to North American style car garages, but nothing we couldn’t deal with. Breakfast was incredible as well.
Clean, beautiful rooms in a great location, with a few drawbacks. Drawbacks: - Heating/cooling: The building only supports one or the other. We were here on hot days and the fan was blowing hot air only. - Slow WiFi - Parking: limited spots in their parking lot, street parking was difficult and confusing, we came back to 4 parking tickets on our windshield Positives: + Hotel is beautiful and centrally...
Great hotel, nice staff and very clean. Park next door, very noisy! Band played until 11:30pm.
The hotel is very nice and clean. Breakfast was good, and we really liked the lovely inner terrace – it’s a nice spot to eat and relax. The rooms were very clean, though a bit small, but cozy. The only downside is that there was no storage space (at least not in our room), so we had to keep our clothes in the suitcase. The hotel has a parking area, but it’s quite small and often full, so we had to...
The breakfast was so much more than the usual self service. Fresh, plentiful, delicious, perfectly staffed, nothing I would change. The room was generous, toiletries exceptional, again, I’d change nothing
We've been there for 2 nights around mid September. Beautiful hotel and confortable rooms with excellent breakfast. Located less than 10 min walking from the old harbourd. Possible to park your car in the parking of the hotel. Last but not least, a very welcoming stuff, specially Elena who helped us a lot and gave us good advices for visiting. We salute her.

The hotel is located at the top of a hill with wonderful views of the ocean, beaches, Chania and the mountains. It is quiet and not too big so the service felt very personal. I spent 4 nights here at start and end of my holiday and enjoyed my stay. Friendly, welcoming staff. My rooms were good, spacious, very clean, very comfortable king size bed with firm mattress. Stayed upstairs in a room with a balcony in late June/July and had a lovely time. Beautiful views and close to everything but set back enough (although depending on the wind you’ll hear the late-night bars across the harbour). Vasilis is very laid back and gave us some good recs. Sorted out my lost key card quickly. Parking in town wasn’t as bad as I expected except if you look for a spot late at night
Excellent experience, we enjoyed so much the location as well as the amazing service in Captain Vasilis. And the room was so pretty! Definitely recommend
Highly recommend! The location was amazing.. short walk to everything, including the parking area outside of the old town. Great communication prior to our stay and met with a friendly face. Breafkast made fresh every morning from local products. Restaurants and sandy beach on a walking distance. This place was a perfect base to explore Chania.
Excellent hotel run by the owner. He did everything and made our stay enjoyable, Vasilis provided great recommendations for where to visit and eat. Nothing to dislike about this place. Location perfect , but it’s the staff that work here who make it , nothing is too much trouble , they work tirelessly to keep everyone happy and the hotel, apartments and outside areas are kept so clean and tidy. The review is about the beach restaurant of the hotel of the same name. They have very good food and decent prices. The special pizza is very good and the pork steak is huge, served with pita, salad and fries and costs only 14Euro. This hotel is great place to stay. Four years in a row I spent my entire summer vacation in this hotel. The owners Christina and other staff like Alex are so kind and welcoming. I am very grateful for all their help and support.
The hotel has a good location – right by the beach and within walking distance of the town center, which is convenient for those who want to enjoy both the sea and city attractions. Amazing location, room condition and staff. Very helpful. Great breakfast. Great air conditioning and balcony. My only issue was the scent from the cleaning products.
We had a corner room with a balcony on both sides overlooking the busy restaurant and shopping area below. The room was larger than we expected. The only negative was that there was a step up into the bathroom, which we had to keep reminding ourselves of, especially at night.

A very decent hotel within walking distance from the old town (and it's super close to the archeological museum). The interior looks classy and comfy at the same time. My room was very clean and there was a nice welcome gift waiting for me (loukoumi with some local raki). Breakfast was ok smorgasbord style with a rather standard selection of cereals, cold cuts and cheese.
This is a beautiful hotel immaculately clean. The staff were lovely from the reception staff to the cleaner to breakfast staff. The breakfast was good. The room had a balcony and it was a nice size.
