Where to stay with pets in Chania Town

The view of the sea and the Venetian Port from my room was excellent. The location in the old town is convenient and charming, as is the hotel itself

This hotel was absolutely amazing! George gave us great recommendations and was always ready to help us out. The hotel location is perfect, situated in Old Town Chania, walkable at night, clean room, and very safe

Had a top floor room with a view to die for, close to the harbour quite rustic with modern bathroom. Booking direct was easy with assistance / advice on parking and an early check in, rapid response to a few emails

We had a wonderful time and look forward to staying at the Helena Hotel next time we’re in Chania! *****

Excellent location step out the center. With all the restaurant and shops and Very clean. Gorgeous views if you got sea view room. Very kind and accommodate frond desk

Breakfast was okay — nothing fancy, but it had all the basics you’d expect. The best part of this hotel is the location: right in the town centre, close to everything. I believe most of what you pay goes toward that

We have a balcony room with stunning views of the Venetian harbour. While the room and the bathroom are small, they are very clean and functional

With windows closed and AC on it actually kept a fair amount of the bust Chania town noises out, BUT I did find that I heard a fair amount of the interior noises (doors, locks, voices, etc) Good value, breakfast was decent enough, fantastic location, small bathroom

Absolutely stunning views! The town itself is very walkable and the Elia sits from and center directly on the Chania Harbor! If you were looking at this hotel, don’t second-guess it and just book it you won’t regret it!

The room itself was nicely appointed and the balcony views of the harbor were beautiful. My only complaint is that we went to use the wine glasses and discovered they were dirty and unwashed

The views of Chania were spectacular, especially the beach with its wave sounds. Candia is at a perfect location - 2 minutes walk to Nea Chora Beach, the promenade and restaurants

La Maison Ottomane is truly a hidden gem in Chania’s Old Town. The location is perfect—quiet and peaceful, yet just a short walk to the Venetian harbor and all the restaurants and shops

From the moment I arrived, they made me feel so welcome and at home. The breakfast each morning was homemade and freshly cooked, which was such a treat. Everything was delicious and thoughtfully prepared

What made my stay especially memorable were the wonderful hosts. Alexandra and another gentleman (I believe his name was Andreas?) were incredibly warm, accommodating, and genuinely kind

There are only THREE rooms so book this beauty in advance! Because we had to leave for the airport at 7am, Alex left breakfast in our room when she cleaned our room the day before so we could have a bite before heading to the airport

We had the basement room which was nice and cooling, had everything we needed and more, comfortable beds to sleep on and the location was perfect. The location of the room couldn't have been more perfect

The hotel offers a free parasol for one room, and mattresses for swimming. Very close to the beach and in the vicinity of 100 meters all the necessary shops and pubs

This was a great stay and a great value. While it’s an older hotel, it is very well cared for and the staff could not be more welcoming. It’s very clean and comfortable and the location is the best to see all of Chania

He also arranged us to check out later than 11am the next morning. He was amazing and the rooms were in a VERY good location IN the Center. Good rooms and great staff for a great price

This place is the absolute bomb. The rooms themselves are by no means extravagant, if fact they are a tad dingy. HOWEVER, that is completely made up by the fact that the staff is incredible

Christos, the receptionist there was super helpful and found us a room immediately in a very good price without taking advantage of the fact that we didn’t have anywhere else to go

It was about 1-2am and we had nowhere to go. Thankfully we found this hotel

The bed was comfortable, & the bathroom had toiletries for us. BUT the noise of people sneezing outside the room in the walkway below can get heard like they are in your room. Dogs, cars, casual conversations

Beautiful place Our room /luxury apartment is brilliant we have two showers two toilets two wash basins and a separate jacuzzi amazing facilities and friendly staff, Breakfast is great and they can’t do enough for us , Highly recommended

Everything was great, right in old port Chania

The hotel is located at suburbs, the motorway is easily approachable if you want to visit some other places. It is really clean and nice. Staff is super nice. I give a warm recommendation for this place.

We had a very good time there! Clean rooms, new furniture, satisfying breakfast with local products, and very helpful staff! My only problem was the very soft bed mattress, but that's just my personal opinion

Super clean bedroom and good mattress. Buses (number 20) at 10 minutes to and from the city right in front of the hotel. Just maybe a kettle in the room would have been appreciated

The Family Room was large, more than enough room for the four of us. It has the classic Greek charm we were looking for in a hotel when booking. The location is perfect, with a beautiful rooftop view of Old Town Chania

The only issues for me were the very hard bed and the 42 steps up to our room, which when you forget your phone is a challenge!

Nice place to stay in the old town of Chania. Be aware that the reception is located in 200m from the hotel (in their second hotel, they basically have one reception for two places)
