Pollis Hotel in Hersonissos

The hotel room was okay. We paid extra for superior room, but that didn't change anything at all and we got two single beds just pushed together...
The food was poor quality. Every breakfast almost didn't change at all. The coffee was like water, juices had so much sugar and citric acid in it... And even at the dinner service we couldn't get any drinks, only the water was free 😐 And we paid for "all inclusive". So yeah, that was sad.
On the second half of the week, we had some young neighbors come to the room next door and they shouted at 3:00-4:00 in the morning, climbed to our balcony through the glass railing, and when we said this to the hotel staff, they said "oh yeah we know, we had some more people complain to us about them but we can't do anything about that". That made us very angry that they can't even say something to them to quiet down and stop doing dangerous and illegal stuff.
The hotel had a rule about the towels to save water. They said that "of the towel is on the floor - you want us to change it. Of it's hanged - you will use it again". Okay, I like that they thought about saving the water. BUT just after one evening of us using our towels, they were changed even though we didn't drop the to the floor. So why make that rule if it's not being used ?
Overall we paid for 4 stars hotel, but got a weak 3 stars.

I arrived at the hotel after a 20 hour travel to find there was no hot water for shower. Over the next week, there was no hot water about half the time. This is totally unacceptable for a 4 star hotel. The food and staff are good. The internet drops off often. Shower head was cracked and water would just pour in.

Me and my family bought an All inclusive package and booked a triple room. After we checked in and arrived to our room, our biggest surprise was that instead of 3 beds we received 2 beds and a small mattress (see picture below). We went back to the reception and asked the receptionist (a young guy) if this is their standard triple room since we saw something else on their website. The guy said this is their triple standard room and did nothing else about it. Few minutes later, we saw the room next to us because the people in it left the door open, room 2006, a triple room, and guess what? They had 3 normal beds, not a mattress like ours. Clearly the receptionist lied to us, which is not very nice if you ask me. Moreover, there was no shower gel in the bathroom (and from my experience, hotels usually give you little bottles of shower gel among others). The bed linens were white but had some brown spots on them, so they didn’t look very clean. They said they only clean the room every 3 days and I heard another guest saying that their room was cleaned every day (they also had the same package as ours). As an accommodation, I wouldn’t come back to this hotel. The only good part of staying here was their food, the kitchen staff were nice people, and I liked their pool area, but that’s it.

The hotel itself is clean and tidy, but the food variety is poor. There’s very little fruit available, and there are no snacks or fruit offered between 2 pm and 7 pm, even though we had an all-inclusive package. You even have to pay extra for juice.
