The food served at the restaurant was delicious and very good value for money. We got a taxi from Heraklion airport which was around a 25 minute drive and got the bus back to the airport

Good points Clean, comfortable beds, linen and towels. Basic but adequate two ring hob , microwave and fridge for self catering. Clean but small pool however, rarely busy so big enough

We had the most wonderful and relaxing week here. The family who own the apartments were so friendly and welcoming. The apartment was spotless and overlooked stunning views of the sea and mountains

Beautiful views!! All super friendly, personable, kind and fun! We’ll never forget the amazing staff! We were a group of 3 girls early to mid twenties, it was mostly couples and families which was fine with us

The establishment was really well looked-after and we spent a lot of time around the poolside. We loved the fact they had happy hour and served cocktails around the poolside

Breakfast was tasty and had a good variety, though it was the same every day. The only downsides were the cold water in the pool and the long walk to the promenade and beaches

It is in a beautiful location, has every facility you need but most importantly the staff were sooooo pleasant. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was done with smiling happy faces

Good and bad (just returned from a one week stay). A 3 at best and that would be after a refurbishment. The rooms are extremely basic, very tired and as for self-catering, well, you’d find more utensils in a Wendy house

Well kept complex located just above Piskopiano Main Street (3-5 mins walk) with a lovely pool area and gardens, large rooms, excellent breakfast with lots of variety daily

We have recently returned after a 9 night stay at Amazones and had a great time, it was nice to have a holiday just to relax! The view was just amazing, there is a steep slope when visiting the village but the view and hotel were worth walking up that hill! Drinks at the bar are comparable, price wise across the 3 villages. Staff are lovely as is the owner who takes a personal interest in the happiness of guests. We had a lovely stay and are planning to return next year

The bar offers great food and a good selection of drinks. The pool is amazing, very clean and well maintained. The rooms are large with extremely comfy beds and a balcony to enjoy the views

I was nervous about dragging my suitcase up the hill but I was met in the parking area and everything was taken care of for me proactively. They have a lovely bar/restaurant area with a good selection of food and wine

For every room luxury sunbeds by the private pool. Personel is fantastic, super friendly an helpfull. They made also the difference besides rooms etc. We are still there and enjoying our holiday!

We stayed in the adults only part of the hotel room 629. That part has 4 rooms with a private pool. The rooms are amazing! Large room with al large balcony and huge bathroom

Hosts seems strange at the beginning, but be sure they are really friendly and helpfull. Theirs english is not perfect but can be understood. We had room with one bedroom with double bed and two single beds

Really nice apartments, went there with my partner for a week and loved it. It’s located 10 minutes from the beach. Owner is really nice and welcoming. If we go back to Crete, will book it again

So relaxing at that point it was owned by an elderly couple who were so welcoming I have been to many places in Greece and although the accommodation was basic the atmosphere was so warm

The accommodation is very nice clean and everything you need to self cater if you want to. However Eva cooks amazing traditional Greek food for breakfast, lunch and dinner if you wish

Eva and Harry are a very lovely couple and excellent host. They organise all guest that want to, to eat drink and be merry together in true Greek style

Wonderful stay with Eva the hostess together with husband Harry making it feel like a home from home the rooms are spotless and pool area is great and very clean Eva cooks lovely meals if you want them and it’s within easy access of the local villages we went twice in September and can’t wait to go back

The Greek people are warm friendly and extremely welcoming, not forgetting the lovely, tasty healthy cuisine in every taverna we visited

I’ve read reviews from 2022 and I can say for sure the issues discussed then are not there now. The rooms were clean and bright. The linens and towels clean and in good state. Our bed and pillows were super comfortable

It was like a little house, with a sitting/kitchen/dining area, bathroom and separate bedroom. The bed was also very comfortable. We will definitely be back, and would like to thank everyone for making our stay special

I had a short stay in this hotel and finally extended my stay as much as possible. Stayed in a maisonette room, everything was so nice. Clean room, spacious living room, kitchen area fully equiped

We were very happy with the resort, the staff were excellent. The lady on reception was very helpful when we had a mix up with a taxi transfer, she organised a local driver at very short notice. Couldnt thank her enough.

Last minute order for me and 2 kids. The room had 3 levels, which sounds weird but actually gives plenty of space, with a kitchen, kids floor and "master bedroom" on top

Food was really good, plenty of choice everyday and all the staff were brilliant especially the chef who walked my wife round as she is Gluten Intolerant and explained what was safe for her, always had 6/7 dishes to choose from plus the salads

The general manager, Spiros, is a really nice guy and nice to chat to, very informative and very helpful. Cleaning was everyday, pool was good and well maintained. Would we stay again? - Definitely 😎

Thank you to the fantastic staff at Porto Village Hotel from the cleaning, bar, breakfast, reception staff. The pools, gym and bar is nice and the location to the old towns or to the harbour is good

Food was basic with a few options. Staff to dining room very polite and helpful. The hotel is going through an up grade. A lovely hotel for what I paided for, this hotel is a great place to relax and chill out

really nice hotel, very nice staff, only downside is the wifi is so bad i had to use mobile data the whole trip (also in the rooms). other downside is that we had to wait 2 hours for our room to be ready

My review is based on room 901. old and tired missing plug to Bath. Bath soap holder not screwed into wall. Door handle loose on cupboard. The room was a double with a kitchenette with a fridge

Location to the gym was ten seconds from our room, pool and bar 1 mintues away. All communal areas are well maintained and clean. Dining area clean and plenty of of seating inside and outside

The kitchen could do with a few more bowls and cups. The location of the hotel is really convenient. Walk out of the hotel gate and turn left and you are in the village of Analipsis which has plenty very good restaurants

The couple who own the hotel are also really nice. We had a few cocktails around the pool and these were all of a good standard. We ate lunch here aswell and that was really good

To summerise this is a good base for exploring the beautiful coast of Crete

The sun loungers have really thick cushions on them which makes your stay a very comfortable one. The young staff who work behind the bar are really friendly and always go out of their way to help you

We loved our sundowners at the top pool bar 🍸- Mythos and lime and a Prosecco with a strawberry 🍓 - cheers! We used the tennis court a few times and it's perfectly adequate once you get used to the cracks along the service and base lines - we had good fun on the court 😁 and it was one of the reasons why we booked Bellos

Great location for us as we like walking and you have best of both worlds at Bellos - turn left to go down to the big port resort of Heronissos or turn right to go up to the three villages

Food to buy at the bar or restaurant has a good selection and reasonable prices. The pools are a good size, one for adults to swim or sunbathe near and the others is superb for all ages especially with the slide

We have a fabulous time at Bellos for our week's holiday in early October. Liked the fact that you had a big fridge with a freezer section. Balcony was nice for a morning coffee in the sunshine

Pool areas were really nice - we preferred the upper grassy area as it was quieter. Both pool bars were great and the staff were so helpful - thank you Hannah and Costas

I've saved the best till last as this place was always our last stop off - the fabulous little bar 🍸 at Bellos! It didn't matter where we were during the day or evening, we made our way back to Bellos bar as the service and hospitality were outstanding

Had such a nice expirence clean room (daily cleaning) view is extraordinary pool view and beach view last but not least the manager Lambros is an amazing guy he will help you for everything just give him a call from the taxi from the airport all your trips restaurants etc

Stayed for 6 nights with teenagers. Perfect! The teenagers had their own apartment and we had one above. We had a view of Palm Beach Club, where you can rent a cot for 5 euros a day

It's really great for teenagers, and everything is within walking distance. Lambros is super friendly and arranges everything for you; all you have to do is send a message

Yes, there's some noise in the evenings from teenagers coming home walking through the hallway and the music from Palm Beach during the day, but you know that beforehand

At the swimming pool are great party's! The Bar man Alwin is a really good lad, he organizes bbqs and makes music at the pool! After all we enjoyed the 2 weeks stay at maria hotel thanks to Janus (owner) and Alwin
