Best Hotels in Hersonissos

I don't like to write too much, I'll just say this: I give the highest praise to the entire hotel staff!! With a plus for Gina and Luminita!! I know, I'm subjective, but we can't escape certain affinities!!

The internet drops off often. Shower head was cracked and water would just pour in

The only good part of staying here was their food, the kitchen staff were nice people, and I liked their pool area, but that’s it

I highly recommend staying at this hotel. They pay great attention to cleanliness, and the food is typically touristy but good. And then, something very important to me, the staff is really kind

I'm a little clumsy at times, but they were incredibly patient

Clearly the receptionist lied to us, which is not very nice if you ask me. Moreover, there was no shower gel in the bathroom (and from my experience, hotels usually give you little bottles of shower gel among others)

We visited Crete in September and our stay at this hotel was the best. Thank you all for giving us unique experiences and we will be back soon.

We stayed at the end of September and had an amazing stay. We would highly recommend this hotel – it’s beautiful, spotless, and very well kept, offering a genuine 4-star holiday experience

The sunbeds come with tables and umbrellas, and there are plenty of lovely seating areas around the pool to relax. The staff work incredibly hard to keep the whole resort immaculate

Pretty good place, the pools great and the food was really nice and theres amazing people there too, the only thing that bothered me were the mosquitoes but its okay.

We had a lovely stay at Heronissos! The team there was incredibly welcoming and organized, ensuring everything felt easy from the moment we checked in

The lifeguards were excellent though, really friendly, helpful and good when my son ripped open a scab on a slide! Food - this was a big one for us

There were other activities too such as Pilates - possibly the best view I’ve ever had doing Pilates! There could have been a bit more for teens, and it was a shame the games room wasn’t in the centre of the hotel but a bit further out, but that was only a tiny thing

We have recently come back from our stay on the 4th of October for 7 days. We were in 1514 Positive points Food was good including the buffet Greek and Italian

But we were pleasantly surprised! The food was really good, varied every day and most importantly for us they were very accommodating for a coeliac

All in all a nice hotel, good food and friendly staff

If you are looking to hire a car this can be done easily from the hotel for a reasonable price, but there are also a multitude of car / quad bike/scooter hire companies on the doorstep and bus connection is just outside the hotel

Huge room(1110) huge balcony. Food excellent, very clean. Great amenities. Quiet and not much pool entertainment through the day. . This is a review compared to other greek all inclusive large hotels.

Amazing hotel in a great location. Beautiful and clean, nothing too much trouble. The staff were really helpful and the rooms well equipped with everything you need

All inclusive includes a fridge of drinks which are refilled each day including fizzy drinks, water and beer. Sunbeds were a little difficult to get around adult pools mid-September but not a major issue

Every evening he brought us excellent drinks and was always so nice and friendly! The cats in the Hotel also were very friendly and nice! 🐱 The Jacuzzi was not heated, unfortunately, even though they said so

Certainly lives up to its 5* rating. Thoroughly clean & cleanliness maintained in all aspects of the complex. Excellent quality bed linen & bathroom towels

All food was presented impeccably, freshly prepared, presented & cooked. High standard of food presented was maintained throughout holiday. All staff were welcoming, very friendly & professional

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. The jacuzzi room was outstanding—spacious, bright, and beautifully decorated. The best part was the private jacuzzi on the terrace, which made the experience unforgettable

Thank you for all working so hard as a team after the sandstorm, you all seemed to be there from morning until night cleaning the sand off the sun loungers and making everyone's stay the best it could be and it certainly paid off

Good service except for the guy who works on the beach and rents out sunbeds and umbrellas, arrogant and rude. recommend to choose the nearby beaches

The hotel is centrally located near shops and beach. Good breakfast, ok lunch, messy dinner, recommend to have breakfast only

Outstanding customer service! Waiters and cleaners were also extremely attentive, the waiters joked with our daughter calling her 'Max' as she looked liked Max from Stranger Things and the cleaners always left our rooms spotless, leaving sweets on the pillow or displaying our pjs on the bed

Absolutely amazing hotel and staff! All of the staff go above and beyond to please their hotel residents. My son has a nut allergy and the head server and chef went through all the food that were safe for him to eat

Brilliant hotel, stayed here 7 nights and no complaints whatsoever! Brilliant view, room was clean and staff were very friendly. Great location with lots of shops around within walking distance

The food buffet had a variety of items with the dinner items changing each evening for extra variety. Brilliant hotel and highly recommend the sea view room!

We stayed for 7 nights in early August,the staffs are all extremely friendly and helpful

The hotel is situated in the town itself but is lovely and quiet. Staff were welcoming and accommodating apart from one or two of the girls/women on the front desk who seemed to have abit of an attitude

We stayed half board but probably only ate there a handful of times. Food was fine but not much rotation in choice throughout the week so we ate out. Tourist tax was €10 euros per night

We stayed in room 513 and the housemaid is a super sweet and warm and lovely lady, please send my greetings to her again and Kevin the young waiter in the restaurant by this message😄

Room was kept clean, the cleaners are so friendly as were the pool/bar staff as well as spa. Emma the spa manager was lovely as was our therapist Dimirta

The overall atmosphere was calm and pleasant, which allowed me to truly relax. A big thank you to the entire team for their professionalism and kindness—I'll be happy to come back!

The receptionist Marta was absolutely rude on arrival and her attitude during our check in and room assignment was just shocking. The manager was able to correct and give us an alternative room which was what we paid for

Even if you arrive very early all the beds in the pools are taken/kept, people keep them even while they go for a few hours to eat/sleep, but the hotel employees, unfortunately, do nothing about it

It is a ground floor room directly facing a fairly busy pedestrian street. Flip up blinds were closed the entire stay, so this room doesn’t truly offer even a peak view of the ocean, let alone a “dazzling blue sea view”

Really enjoyed all 3 pools, the nearby beach, and everything within walking distance! My room type should not have been listed as it is “ Dazzling Blue Sea View Outdoor Hot Tub”

Check-in is via an app which is just stupid when you’ve provided 90% of the detail in advance for example. Rooms are quite good but dated somewhat and in need of new beds (a little on the uncomfortable side)

It’s located at the far end of the strip, serving staff are really good but the reception staff aren’t great - super junior and not very well trained

• I stayed half board during my stay and honestly the selection of food was wonderful and I liked that they provided traditional Greek food which was great to try

That might be my best experience so far. Friendly and kind stuff and delicious food! The dinner experience is fantastic. Every day we got new surprises like wine tasting or even national dance performance

Also just want to give a shout out to Julia the guest relations manager, such a lovely lady and very helpful when booking my excursion to Santorini

Overall this is heavily a 3-star hotel by Irish standards trying to pitch a 5-star product that just falls short in too many places

Breads and pastries were to die for. Good location right in the middle of Hersonissos and just a few feet from the beach

I have stayed at multiple JW and Ritz hotels and the service here is at that level if not better. The hotel itself is immaculate. Our room was always super clean with fresh towels and sheets

We had the best time at Vasia Boulevard. The staff were amazingly helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotlessly clean and fresh bedding supplied everyday

We stayed at this hotel for 6 days and had amazing service throughout! They allowed early and late checkout for us as we had difficult flight times, called us multiple taxis to get around the beautiful island and were just helpful start to finish

The breakfast was perfect, so much choice! The hotel is well located with a huge amount of restaurants and bars on the doorstep, and lovely places like Koutouloufari and Stalis just a short distance away

There are also rental car agencies near the hotel where you can rent a car for a day and go hike Timios Stavros (the tallest mountain on Crete and another Unesco heritage site)

The beach access right in front the hotel is a mix between sand, pebbles and spectacular rocks, we absolutely loved it !!!, but if sandy beaches are more to your liking, they are to be found less than 10 min walk either left or right of the hotel

The hotel has an absolutely fantastic location – right by the sea, with breathtaking views. Our room was beautiful and had a stunning view of the water

Mrs Christilo was such a gem! ❤️ The whole team is so helpful and has the best hospitality! We really really enjoyed our stay. The hotel is located slightly sheltered from the nightlife noise and has great views

A great holiday right on the coast way of Hersonissos! Excellent "adults only" concept, very clean with amazing people and very convenient to enjoy the busy life of the city

Anna Maria made us feel very cozy, always with a smile and ready to assist at all times. We really enjoyed the tasteful breakfast at the roof top bar/restaurant, overlooking the amazing sea and the clear blue sky

The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed – we truly felt taken care of. Breakfasts were delicious, with a great variety of fresh and tasty options

With half board, you get a credit to spend — which is actually a clever system — and the food itself was very good and delicious. But having to pay extra for a cappuccino at breakfast is just absurd

There’s plenty of food and drinks on the menu and every single meal we had was amazing and worth every penny

Beautiful hotel, right in the city center. I had a suite, but unfortunately, the room’s hygiene was disappointing. The air conditioning blew out strange dust clouds — it turned out to be extremely dirty (see photo)

The music in the day was not too loud which was great and almost sunbeds were in sunlight most of the day too which was great for October! The pool was always very clean and not too busy even though the hotel was fully booked, and rarely had reserved sunbeds too

As well as being on the main road through Chersonisos so travel by bus to Heraklion or Stalis was so easy and cheap! The food at the hotel is also incredible where we ate 3 evenings while staying

Any query we had was dealt with perfectly by the front desk where whoever we spoke to was more than happy to go above and beyond to help. Pool staff were really lovely and bar staff too

They are all there to answer any questions you may have. The bar prices are really reasonable, €3. 06) for a glass of local wine! The breakfast and dinner were also good, plenty of variety

Special shout outs to Genti the barman, who was really funny; friendly and helpful, Elli and Yannis at reception, and the waiting staff at breakfast and dinner all lovely, friendly and helpful as I was travelling solo

The manager also lends a hand, whether at dinner or at reception late in the evening. All the staff are very polite and take good care of the hotel guests. I was even spoken to in German once or twice

The hotel is in a quiet location, just off the main road, so there's no noise at night time from bars etc. All the staff at the hotel were really friendly and helpful

One of the best all round hotels I’ve ever stayed in for relaxation. Staff were amazingly friendly and tentative. Requested late check out because of later flight and was duly approved. Food and drinks amazing value

The hotel was absolutely superb, we were there for a 3 night stay at the end of a weeks villa holiday and it was perfect. Rooms were massive, food was excellent, staff were so friendly and helpful

She provided us with excellent recommendations for local spots that were off the beaten path, just as we had requested. Her suggestions made our experience truly special

The only thing that we could complain about was the pool area - the pool itself is stunning and overlooks the golf course BUT there are too few loungers and too few towels!!! So we arrived on one occasion to nowhere to sit and nothing to dry ourselves with - not ideal, one family with little children were all sat on one lounger! The pool area is not manned in any way so once the towels are gone they...

But it is possible and the bus tried to Heraklion for a shopping ride - excellent air conditioning, Wi Fi, 30 minutes and you're in town, bus station right in the centre near the port there and all the shops - who are interested in shopping - we liked it! Overall I was expecting from the hotel is the worst when picked

Perfect accomodation, very clean and spacious, also the furniture is very modern and new. The best is the private outdoor area with a private pool. There is a fence around this area, for a maximum of privacy

The food in the restaurant is very, very tasty and of a very high quality, if you like greek food. ) The staff is very, very friendly and helpful in every situation

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff in particular Mike and Babis were so welcoming and looked after us in the restaurant. The villas are well equipped and the private pools a really good size

We had a fantastic stay at Paradise Island Villas. On arrival we were greeted with a welcome drink and upgraded to a bigger villa. The villa was clean and well equipped

Nothing was too much bother for the staff. Genuinely happy staff that cared about their customers visiting. We look forward to returning to this hotel/resort

Two small/medium sized pools, with plenty of sun beds (for the size of the hotel) but pools are not heated, with how cold they are they may even put ice in them! The rooms are ok, more than good enough for me but some may say they could be a tad cleaner

The food was okay, would have liked a bigger selection of fruit and possibly more variety, but everything I did have tasted nice. Good selection of cocktails at the bar, along with spirits too

Fantastic location, nice and close to the beach and the main strip with all the bars and restaurants, also very close to the hills which are great for a nice hike! Loads of cats in and around the hotel, we loved it but some may not like that!

Only one elevator, with the restaurant on the 4th floor, which again was not a problem for myself and my girlfriend but for less able people, could be an issue

The breakfast buffet is out of this world and the restaurant was also delicious. The hotel is located just across the road from the beach which is great for swimming and relaxing

In hindsight, I was actually glad about this change as rooms 63 and 64 get the most sun throughout the afternoon, while 61 and 62 are more overlooked, being close to the reception

even the residents were friendly so nice we didn't feel we wanted to go anywhere! We had exactly what we wanted a beautiful relaxed chilled happy time

Rooms are lovey, very clean and well designed with large balconies, rainflow showers, large flatscreen TV, good WiFi and a kitchenette with hob and microwave and a large fridge

The indoor pool in the basement was small and cramped. Many places to eat or shop in close proximity, although most of the restaurants along the beach were similar in menu. Decent availability for trip pickups nearby

Cleaning time was also wildly inconsistent, anytime between 12pm-5pm, making it hard if you just want a few hours inside without being disturbed. The pools were exactly as pictured, and was cleaned regularly

The room itself was fine, bigger than what I originally ordered, but mostly empty and had no indoor table, only a sofa that wasn't great to sit on. Rest of the room was fine, as expected

Breakfast was the biggest disappointment. Some bread, half cold eggs and bacons, a bit of fruit, yogurt, and cakes. It would be more appropriate for an average 3 star hotel, not 4 stars

Staff were very nice and helpful throughout, from booking airport transport, any room issues etc

Cleaning was lacking, seemed like they only gave the floor a quick wipe and changed bedding

The room was spacious and the hotel was nice. Cleaning could have been a bit better. There were a few minor issues in the room - nothing big. So close to the beach and there are all kind of shops around.

Lovely hotel staff were brilliant we have three of us that or disabled the three young lads were lovely they looked after us for the 10 days we were there food was OK pool was a bit small but overall it was nice would recommend it the young lady on reception was very good the moment we got there to the moment we left

After getting there late, we were greeted with the most warm welcome from Mike( who is definitely a credit to the Hotel) right from start of holiday to end. could not find any fault with hotel at all

The hotel is great so are the staff the food is awful it was cold every time and there is not enough sunbeds no hand rails down to the pool and to get to the beach are about 20 steps which is not disabled friendly

The staff from elena to the whole crew including the cleaners, couldn't be just lovlier humans, work so hard and do a wonderful job, they care for how good a time the guests have which is why guests do

Always helpful, always available to support and act with warm. The hotel is not to big and small and lovley looking, the pool is warm and never to busy as only a certain amount of guests can stay

Could not fault anything or anyone at this beautiful hotel, from the minute we went to ask if they had any free rooms because we could no longer stay were we had booked for a week away, spotless hotel from room to pool area including pool area

What a hidden gem! Clean, well maintained, comfy beds and lovely rooms. Deserves more than 3* as a hotel. Much needed few days of calm and rest after a wedding on the mainland

We stayed in the penthouse and the view, the space, the jaccuzzi. Wow! Also the people keeping the hotel are nice and hospilitable. The cafe in the poolarea is good for lunch and also for drinks at night

The hotel was immaculately clean at all times in the rooms and pool areas. Pool was lovely and peaceful and water was refreshing. Staff were very friendly and hard working
