YES! I can't imagine there is a better hotel in Kecskemet! Very friendly staff,close to everything! The lobby bar is great but the restaurant "Bistro" is just unbelievable. My complements to the Chef!

It's a great hotel with a small private parking. The rooms are nice with comfortable beds. There is an elevator, too. Breakfast is so so and location is a bit far from the main sights. The guys at the reception are friendly and helpful.

The hotel itself is clean and comfortable. My only moan is the gluten free options at breakfast. Bread is provided but there is no gf cereal, or other pastry goods. Food isn’t labelled with ingredients so you don’t know if it contains gluten. The location of the hotel is not central, if are a tourist I would recommend staying more central.

It's not far from the Rhine River, making it convenient for a walk on a sunny day. There's a McDonald's just across the street downstairs, though it's not exactly in the city center. The rooms are small, and the facilities are quite basic; the bathroom looks like it's been there for ten or twenty years. The breakfast selection is limited, but the staff at the front desk who help with luggage storage...

The location for us was great.  We enjoyed the walks into the city and crisscrossing the bridges between Buda and Pest!!  The staff at reception were extremely helpful and took their time to answer our questions.  Would definitely recommend this hotel.

The room was a budget hotel room, and the breakfast was simple. The room price was said to be relatively high. It was more than a kilometer walk to the National Museum, with commercial streets and shopping malls along the way.

A nice hotel to stay in if you're in Budapest. The rooms are nice and clean; the bed and the bathroom were immaculate. This hotel is near the Danube River. Location us good with bars, restaurants and supermarkets close, if you are too tired to go fast after a long day of sight seeing. No tea/ coffee in the room but free in the reception - but i like a coffee in my pjs before i dress and face the world.

Great time in Budapest, amazing breakfast with tradition Hungarian options. Cool theme “gaming” to the bedrooms. Next to a Lidl, and metro station to get into the city centre. Extended our stay by one night directly with the hotel too

Real good value to money hotel in great location

This is a review for Danubius Hotel Hungaria, as the original Hotel is being renovated and I was offered a free transfer. Everything was great, thank you very much for your hospitality!

We arrived early in the morning, the staff was kind enough to let us check in early with a surcharge of 15€. I thought it was the best decision after a 7 hours bus ride!😆

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and have never been disappointed. Great location with plenty of food options, coffee shops & supermarket nearby. Nice to have a room with coffee/tea making facilities and fridge. About the only thing I would change is the addition of an in-room safe. Friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely stay again.

There are good and bad things, the bad part first: It's not worth getting full pension, as they serve the same food all week, with no variety but the taste is not bad. Plates, cutlery, glasses, and where the food is served are mostly dirty and poorly cleaned. Also when I took water from the machine for my daughter, it came out dirty, as the machine is not clean, so reccommend you to buy whater and...

I recently stayed here for one night and this was an ok experience. Check-in was smooth but lacked a bit of friendliness; no smiles, no 'welcome to our hotel', The room was big and clean as was the bathroom, but in comparison with the room size, this was a small area. The shower door didn't close properly but on the other hand the shower was excellent. Bed's were ok. Soundproofing is not the strongest...

Decent rooms and decent breakfast

It was an easy process. We felt safe and the breakfast was delicious.

Hotel staff were courteous but will benefit from additional customer service training such as smiling and show some excitement about the work.

The prices are okay, as is the service, but the food would not be something I would recommend. The soup and the main dish were mediocre at best. The rice, for example, was one of the worst rice I've ever eaten, totally bland and way overcooked. The dessert was pretty good though.

All was great except some amenities. In the center, clean, silence. But no slippers, no drinking water, no fridge, no lockers, no toothpaste

The location is good, walkable distance to the Liberty bridge (c. 10 minutes). My room was located in a quiet area of the hotel, far from the lifts. However, my room was very basic with no kettle which could have been a plus for me.

Excellent location, lots of restaurant around the hotel. Attractions are within walking distance ( 5mins - 1hr). Hotel is quite neat and exactly thesame as advertised on the app.

Limited space even for a twin room, also, no kettle or hot water provided in the middle of the night. But good for those exploring Budapest as stopover point.

Great hotel if you want to experience the spirit of the golden era. The hotel is an impressive building that unfolds many surprises, from an old abandoned section to what looks like a Russian elevator that can withstand an atomic blast. Great experience!

If you want to have a reminiscent experience in a old dated hotel, this is a must go! Plenty of abandoned sections of the building will make you feel as if you made a trip to Chernobyl. Some rooms are just falling apart while you can enjoy a minimum offer breakfast in a pretty impressive hall. My recommendation: go for it!

We stayed at this hotel in Budapest for 3 nights. Our family room was not very big, but there was enough space for all of us. Everything was clean, although there was a bit of mold near the shower. The hotel has a great location, close to a bus stop, the underground and tram stations, and the Great Market Hall. A convenient choice if you want to visit Budapest’s main tourist attractions.

We had a wonderful stay at the Margareta Hotel. Really nice staff and excellent food (we had half board). The room looks a bit older, but it is very clean. We took the opportunity to play table tennis and the children and wife tried a very pleasant wellness. It would be nice to strengthen the wifi a bit and to put at least a basic small kettle in the room so that I could make my favorite tea next time...

Very nice hotel, close to the camp next to danubius hotel. Hotel has room where to save bikes. Biking is common around Balaton. Outside pool and wellness also perfect. Dinning was perfect, breakfast and dinner were perfect, I can recommend. More smiles from staff ;)

The receptionists are friendly and professional. Unfortunately when we arrived, all the people had to check in at the hotel next door and it became a long line. Still the service is fine. They offer drinks on the reception - quite sweet. Drinks in the fridge are also free. The money value ratio is quite acceptable.

We had the superior rooms which were quite spacey. Bathroom is a bit old. But the rooms had a nice view on the historic church across the street. (Bells at 6:00). Perfect location for a stroll around the city. The pools and saunas were very nice to relax. Everything is a bit old but still does for a comfortable stay.

Just out of the bustle of the main city, this 3 Star hotel deserves it's stars. Friendly staff, especially the Catering Manager (?) who does the breakfast... He's super helpful & always ensuring there's ample food. Foyer is a bit lacking in colour, but has a coffee machine & small fridge. The breakfast is on 1st floor, atrium style. We stayed for three nights and honestly enjoyed our stay. The room was nice and clean, the breakfast had a nice selection and all was pretty tasty. Our biggest disappointment comes from the lack of hot water in our room. The boiler was broken for our entire stay, so we had to go to the other hotel wing to get a shower, which was just impractical and not something to be expected from a four-star hotel...

The hotel and rooms are a bit dated, but the rooms aren't small and it's not far from the subway station. Breakfast is included and the quality is decent. There's an elevator, and the service is acceptable. They also offer luggage storage. There aren't any supermarkets nearby. It has decent accessibility to both the airport and the city center.

It's a nice hotel close to the metro station but located on a quiet street. The breakfast was very good. Our room would need a bit of renewal but it was clean, warm and comfortable for our short stay. The people at the reception desk were welcoming.

Really welcoming place. Very big and as well international as national breakfast. Suites are really big and have all amenities from water cooker to hair dryer and shampoo but standard furniture. Beneath the carpet on the floor the suite in the sissi wing was clean. Bit far from the city centre but nearby are many restaurants and bars and metro and tram stations.

Location is great, parking is nice but you DO pay for it! Food is hit or miss. The staff is friendly and helpful but it can be a bit difficult to speak to them if you don't know hungarian. I recommend it to older folks who don't mind the slower pace of things. They have a great kids playroom but other than that everything costs money.

The location was fairly convenient. The design was more modern than the photos, but the building was old. The bathroom had some issues: the doorknob was almost　falling off, and water was leaking from the shower tray. Breakfast was far below expectations.

Wonderful getaway from the city in the city 🥰 We spent 3 days here at Chtistmas. Nice breakfast, cosy wooden chalets with sauna, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Just loved it.

Good location and convenient. Public transport is within 100-300 meters. Heroes square is hardly 300 meters. Rooms were clean and comfortable only thing missing was the electric kettle and complimentary coffee/tea and water. Bar opens 24/7 with many options of drinks and coffee but very limited options for food. Breakfast was good.

The location is excellent, right next to Heroes' Square. There's a large park nearby, perfect for a morning run or walk. The room was quiet and clean, but the amenities were limited; there was no mini-fridge or kettle.
