3 star hotels in Hungary

We were three couples and two of us had Lange room, but we had very small room about 3x3.5m. For two nights a little bit uncomfortable. Other services were 5*. Program allinclusive was ideál for us. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were excelent. Víme and beer, too.

The hotel has a wonderful garden, an indoor and outdoor pool, billard table and a small kids corner. Offers diverse local food. I am not sure what would one do on a longer stay or with small kids, but it is relatively close to Gyor and the Danube part of the Ferto-Hansag National Park for some cultural landscape or walks in nature.

Great little hotel offering all inclusive service with free parking, has its own indoor and outdoor pool, sauna, beautiful garden, food was excellent, would recommend.

The kind staff let us park the car for a few hours longer after checking out in the morning so that we can return in the afternoon after sightseeing. It is easy to go to the city center using public transport.

Amazing building. Had better bathrooms in other hotels on this trip. Breakfast was a disappointment compared with other hotels too. Lots of flies in the breakfast buffet area. The coffee/hot chocolate machine seemed incapable of dispensing a mocha, each attempt produced a different result, maybe blocked somewhere.

We just had a drink and a snack, but the snacks were delicious and freshly made. Very quiet and restful place with an interesting history.

This is an absolutely amazing Hotel so much history in this place and a beautiful garden it is extremely clean and well-kept beautiful modern rooms and the staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful, I immediately extended my stay because of the Super Service minded young lady at the reception I can highly recommend.

You would en belive this place existed if you look at the way to get there. Smal, narrow roads through the forest. Then this Pearl. A fantastic place, still, guiet, just so relaxing. Personal is vere friendly and helpful. Kitchen is good. Sorry to only have stayed for one night.

Our team of ~50 colleagues have spent a weekend in this remote corner of Hungary, Gosztola. The wellness Hotel is a good place to stay. Clean and comfortable rooms with enough facility around for a larger group of people. Beautiful outdoor place for hiking, biking or just hanging around by car. It's a cozy, romantic place with gluten free bread if asked in advance.

Totally fine for the price. Rooms have aged, but that's okay. Dinner and breakfast was good too. Reception opens at 8 and breakfast also starts at 8. Something you might want to consider, if you have to leave early, like we did.

The hotel is very close to the local strand, has its own restaurant and also has several restaurants in the vecinity. It was a good choice for one night, as we were passing by. We had a rich breakfast. There is also the possibility to have lunch or dinner, menu a la carte, a bar is also on place. The mosquitos really bothered us during our evening walk and on the balcony.

The hotel has a decent breakfast with enough variety to start the day, and the location is very convenient, near the city centre, making it easy to get around and visit nearby attractions.

Very uncomfortable... The room was clean, spacious, and the air conditioning worked perfectly. The TV and remote control were awful; there was no channel list, the remote worked intermittently, and the TV screen was tiny. The mattress was extremely thin, and there was no slatted frame, just a solid board – unacceptable and completely uncomfortable.

The Unicorn is the hotel of choice. It's in a great location for walking around the city. The exterior of the hotel seems to have been renovated, so it was a bit different from the interior, but there was a breakfast buffet and it was a comfortable stay.

I booked 6 rooms, we came to Eger with 12 people for a team building. The rooms were quite old, retro / old school. The rooms were clean. The hotel was in the city center, easily accessible. The food and dining experience in general was the best part about this hotel. The quality of the rooms should be brought up to the quality of the restaurant. But everything was fine the staff is kind and energetic in general.

Location is in a quite area with tram in front of the hotel which is very helpful. The service is not the best since the cleaning lady is not paying to much attention and rooms could be better cleaned. They are not well maintained and some invest is needed. We have been accommodated by Piano Hotel for 1 night, being in transit but we can say it is a very nice place to stay longer not only one night. Located in the city center, it is a brand new renovated building with some art newveaux architectural details which makes you feel to discover more of Szeged old city town streets. Beautifully located surrounded by Nature, Hotel Panorama was our 1 night stop on our way further east. The room was simple, but very fair regarding the price we paid. We were here only one night but received only positive emotions. The biggest pluses from us: 1) for the location: not far from the highway (it is easy to find this place + gas station on your way) 2) amazing air as the hotel is close to the lake 3) playground with trampoline and children's room with different games (just necessary when you are traveling with 3 children:)) 4) restaurant is open 16....

The hotel's breakfast has good selections. Room is clean and spacious, but there isn't any shelves to hold shampoo, body gel and soap in the shower. We stayed at the room facing the street, and you could hear cars and people talking bellow the closed window after midnight.

Definitely not the worst, but far from satisfactory. The rooms and the buildings could be cleaner and far more modern. The pools, especially the swimming pool, are too small and crowded. The cleaning lady came into our room at 7:45 and apologized waaay too loudly and tactlessly, obviously wanted us to get up and leave early. Hotel Kelep is an oasis! A modern hotel with a calm atmosphere, classy furnishings and very comfortable beds. Check in was easy and simple, reception staff was courteous and extra helpful with concierge types of questions and services. I recommend it 100%. My experience was pleasant all around! It's a fair hotel with a fair price. I'd like to see that there's available WiFi in the hotel rooms but I wasn't so lucky.

The only disadvantage of this place is location, but not if you are driving by and have to stay for a night. Good breakfast, big room with mini kitchen, quiet place, friendly staff. All this for 48 eur.

Room and sheets were clean, and bed large and comfortable for a family of three (5 year old slept in the middle). The whole hotel gave a very clean and neat impression. Staff were a bit weird but not unkind. Maybe cultural difference. There's night shift staff, making late check-in possible, even after midnight. At check-in, the tourist tax (2€/person) and 8€ parking fee were unexpected added costs...

This is a great place to stay overnight on a trip. I can even imagine to stay few nights. Hotel has a private parking, it’s easy to find. The receptionist spoke English, room was spacious and comfortable. Just be ready to walk a few stairs to get around, but they do have an elevator as well. Very convenient location on the edge of the old town. There's an underground parking available. Széchenyi tér is reachable in like 5 minutes on foot. I was a bit disappointed that we had to fill out the registration cards upon arrival. It hasn't happened to me anywhere in Europe for at least 5 years. The year is 2025. If they want the guests to fill out the check-in, they should have some on-line check...

The rooms are clean, practical and have everything you need. There is a convenient parking.

We organised a family weekend here with 25 guests. All generations were participating, including small kids, teenagers, adults and elderly. All of them found their preferred activities, either in the pool, or in the bar playing bowling/ billiard/ darts or just sitting in the garden. The food was excellent and more than enough. We got a separate conference room where we could project a family video...

We had a very good time there, the room was cosy and clean, with all the facilities. Also the wellness was pleasing, it wasn't crowded at all. The Service was 10/10, very helpful and respectful, they even managed us a massage, I didn't had to deal with anything. I fully recommend!!

Overall, the Hotel is really good. However there were some issues I experienced. 1. My room didn't have a balcony, nor their was a cigarette smoking area near to my room. 2. The wellness service was closed on the day of my stay as they said that gas prices have increased. That was not expected. 3. Nice wellness spa hotel. Staff was very helpful and kind, cuisine was great, breakfast pretty decent. Really enjoyed the hotel and the pool was really nice. Room was a little small and the shower head was fixed which I didn’t like. They can improve a bit the cleaning.

It's a nice place. The food is great. Traditionally authentic and the flavours just extraordinary good. We had a team building over here, and the staff was dead nice to us. Definitely recommend it.
