Lovely hotel by lake Balaton It was wonderful, the hotel is located just minutes from the beach, breakfast was delicious with home backed goods. The hotel has a great wellness area with whirlpools, jacuzzi and saunas. Everything was clean and very good. The staff was professional and friendly at the same time. Thank you!

Good but not good enough This hotel needs an urgent upgrade. The spa area is great as is. But the coffe machine would have flooded the restaurant if i would have not told thexstaff. Juice machine was not turned on. Okly water came out. The breakfasg was barwly ready at 8.30 when time was 8am. (Whicj i comsider late for a hotel). The rooms are smelly of humidity and else.

Medium sized hotel on the shore of Lake Balaton. Situated just opposite with the train station of Alsóörs, yet the arrival and departing trains are not disturbing. Strange place to stay, seemingly lost in time. Very dark rooms and an odd / unknown method to access the bar or restaurant. However great squash courts and sauna/ swimming pool

Not a four stars hotel. The hotel is definietly not 4*, it's dark, dated and old. The room was clean, but you can see that they only spend money on maintenance if they need to. Cracked sink in the bathroom, with the cheapest handsoap/no shower gel or shampoo provided. No kettle or other tea/coffee making facilities, the minibar is super expensive. The hotel isn't a 4 star one, maximum 3. This hotel is very "old", and it seems they only spend money on maitanance if it's absolutely needed, cracked sink in the bathroom, missing tiles in the pool area, dated decor. Definitely not the worst, but far from satisfactory. The rooms and the buildings could be cleaner and far more modern. The pools, especially the swimming pool, are too small and crowded. The cleaning lady came into our room at 7:45 and apologized waaay too loudly and tactlessly, obviously wanted us to get up and leave early. The hotel itself is not bad. It worth the price but not more. If you need a cheap hotel than it is good however there might be better than this. The apartment is functional but it was not clean. At the reception desk people were not on top of the service. Feeling of the communist era.

Room and sheets were clean, and bed large and comfortable for a family of three (5 year old slept in the middle). The whole hotel gave a very clean and neat impression. Staff were a bit weird but not unkind. Maybe cultural difference. There's night shift staff, making late check-in possible, even after midnight. At check-in, the tourist tax (2€/person) and 8€ parking fee were unexpected added costs...

November 2025: What a wonderful gem in the heart of Budapest. It's at Deak Ferenc ter -- about a block from the Ferris wheel (for comparison's sake). The Museum of Illusions is in the same courtyard as the hotel. Quiet, clean; friendly staff; good prices. The metro/subway is about a block away as is the fashion street. A lot of action in the area. Tons of restaurants. And the 100E Airport Express...

3 nights in Budapest Victoria was amazing! Super friendly and gave some great suggestions of things to do in the city. Hotel was centrally located and walkable to almost anything! The room was nice, however the WiFi was spotty at best and the bed wasn’t the most comfortable, but not terrible.

This was such a cool concept. It’s located in an amazing part of town. The staff was very helpful and the room was very spacious. Would gladly recommend as a key place to stay while in Budapest.

The hotel is in a perfect central location. I have a couple of negatives about our booking. Although it’s called a hotel it’s not. It’s a collection of apartments on the 1st floor of a residential building. It is VERY poorly sign posted and should have been made clearer. The hotel is on the 1st floor about a souvenir shop. However access is through large double gates to which we had not been given...

We spent one night four friends in two double beds. The staff very kindly and welcome. Rooms are cleaned and comfortable. Location is very good and they have free parking places for cars. The breakfast was excellent coffee, tea, juice and palinka if like. We recommend this Hotel to anybody. We will back soon. Thanks for the staff!

I mean, I work here, honestly. It's a neat place. People are as nice as you are to them, not much else to it. Smile and be friendly, and people will bring the stars down for you. Almost anyting can be worked out if you give a notice early enough. Protip: 3xx and 21x rooms are more quiet than 20x rooms.

No flexible dates, travelling for business you need a hotel that can provide flexible dates. Not good for business travels.

Excellent friendly, competent service, client oriented. Parking in front of the hotel which is a huge plus. Cosy room with large balcony and nice view over the city. Inside door to separate the room from the hall door, which helps a lot with the noise. Good water for shower, hangers in the wardrobe, clean & fresh towels and linen. We enjoyed everything.

Very nice hotel, staff, and clealiness but a bit off the beaten path. There's almost nowhere to go in walking distane and the sign says bar and restaurant but they only have breakfast. For the price it was still excellent.

Wonderful getaway from the city in the city 🥰 We spent 3 days here at Chtistmas. Nice breakfast, cosy wooden chalets with sauna, indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Just loved it.

It was truly a great stay, the staff were lovely and so was the room. It was always lovely and warm to come back to especially in the cold times over there. The only issues we had were other loud guests standing in the hallways just talking at late times 2/3am and the hotel isn’t actually in the city centre like it says but there is travel nearby and Uber prices were 10 and under. Visited in winter. Very comfortable, clean, peaceful place. My room was warm enough . "Taxi mafia" was brutal - from airport to hotel 90,000 HUF :( . They just have waited for someone tired and disoriented... So on the way back to the airport i asked random taxi near the closest metro station. At night one driver offered 20,000HUF , but in the morning i found other for 10,000HUF

Such an incredible hotel, in such a lovely part of the city. Next to tram 1 and very close to one of the main stations of Budapest (Nepliget) it is simply the perfect spot for your stay. Rooms are nice and clean. Breakfast was OK, personel nice. But beware: paking is hard to find and is a bit expensive. The worst was an aircondition machine below the window, making a noise all the night (switching on and off). Another issue was a light right behind the window, switching on and off too.

Had a very nice stay at Hotel Central in one of the apartments. The kitchen could have been a little cleaner and better equipped but we were overall satisfied. Tasty breakfast and the option to take it up to your rooms, lovely and talkative staff, best value for money.

The staff was very friendly and gave me tips about Pecs but I also shared nice conversations with them. During my stay, there was a couple staying at the hotel which ate vegan and the staff went out of their way to accomodate there needs. So nice and so friendly. Relaxed atmosphere.

The service was prompt and very friendly. This is an excellent location not far from city center. Walking distance to the bus station, a HUGE piac and Churches, historical sites. Mall is across the street. Only 3 stars for the room, the beds were too hard to sleep comfortably.

Small hotel in the middle of the city! Very comfortable location. Tasty breakfast and nice personal. The conveniences can be much better, but it has it's own style charm.

The only hotel in Balatonalmadi that is right on the Balaton bike trail and has its own beach front. You can also rent SUP and the staff is super nice. The hotel belongs to one of the universities so staying here you also support young people.

We are returnees to this hotel for various reasons. It is nice and quiet even in high season and has a private Balaton beach. The kitchen staff is very accommodating to requests, and other staff is also very helpful. Bikes available to use, and in summer season you can rent SUP as well. They have a nice playground and a small outdoor kids pool.

This hotel is a complete throw back, stay here and go back in time 30 years. The food is hearty, the staff friendly (I got to learn some Hungarian from one of the wait staff). You won’t get good internet service but you will get a chance to really relax and take some lovely swims and walks.

We stayed for two weeks and held our wedding there! Friendly and accommodating staff who really looked after us. We enjoyed using the Volleyball court and table tennis. Excellent location with a private beach and free use of sun loungers. Comfortable rooms with balcony, fridge and hairdryers. Great value overall and would certainly recommend!

Everything was wonderful! The staff is great, always smiling. If you have any kind of problem or complaint, they strive to find a solution right away. Their private beach is nice as well, though open to the public, it is never crowded. Really great value for the money! My only complaint, is that the coffee at breakfast is really bad 😀

Important to note that currently the hotel is undergoing renovation works so there is often construction workers and it is in essence a construction site. This meant some mornings there was construction noises happening. The renovation itself is an improvement- slightly more modern and in keeping with the times. My friend and I where here for 3 days city break. Great hotel. Really good location. Near to most tourist attractions. Staff where very friendly and helpful. It's a basic hotel but very clean and beds are comfortable. Breakfast is basic too. But very good. I would certainly stay here again.

Great location in city. Close by to all the touristy locations & the Xmas markets. Rooms were good, comfortable bed. Not a big fan of the breakfast (but i'm not a huge fan of Continental European breakfasts anyway). No lift in the building.

Such a good location in the city, we stayed for 4 nights on a room only basis, so can't comment on the restaurant or food. The room was great we were on the first floor so didn't have to carry our luggage up to many flights of stairs, beds were comfy and we cast our streaming services to the TV on the room. No frills but it's for sure worth a stay, pub right next door but didn't hear too much noise...

A real surprise in the city inn, my room was next to the big green park with beautiful Castle view. I had a balcony too. The restaurant is excellent, parking place is FREE of charge, the wifi connection is good in public places and in the room too.

Simply Superb. Excellent in every respect. I have stayed in worse 5 star hotels. All staff from cleaners to reception staff were friendly, accomodating, pleasant and helpful. We attended a family wedding and the staff obviously made efforts to ensure they even dressed appropriately.

Property is very conveniently located by the wine cellars of the famous Eger wineries. You can walk in few minutes to do wine tasting to a lot of premium wine cellars and restaurants.

Gyor is a beautiful city within a 2 hour drive of Budapest. Definitely worth stopping! This hotel was perfect. The only drawback was that there was not lift which was difficult for my 78 year old mother. We managed and were very impressed with the property, the staff and breakfast the following morning. This is our absolute favorite place in Gyor. We keep coming back. The staff goes above and beyond to help you in every way. It is beautiful, spotlessly clean and in a great location. Everything was perfect! The welcome, the room, the breakfast was excellent. They have jakuzzi and sauna in the garden, where you can sit out, and relax. The receptionist was very kind person, she helped us where to go, what to do in the area. There is no dinner, or lunch. But they have also restaurant nearby, its very close, approx. 5-8 minutes by walking.

The hotel was fine, but they don’t have an elevator, the worst thing was the A\C in the room it was not doing it job we visited at July and we couldn’t open the windows because of the bugs, we had to park our car outside the hotel parking but it was a safe calm street so it wasn’t a big deal
