Good but Not for everyone! The hotel is clean and staff is super friendly. But there is zero ventilation. With 4 people in a small room and no air or vent in the bathroom and no window to open, it was super stuffy especially at night. It’s a high tech system that relies on air filters. This now the third time returning to this hotel. Hotel is pretty decent , the rooms are tidy but a little bit small. Maybe a little complaint about the room fridge - too small and not enough strong .I guess for the price I can't really complain . We always had a very friendly receptionist which is always a good start.

The hotel is clean and tidy, with plenty of food in the small refrigerator. The location is convenient and the transportation is close to the subway station. You can walk to nearby attractions. Beautiful, charming building and room! They kept the old wine cellar feel, materials and style! A very rare find! We had the suite, which had a living area, a rooftop terrace and huge bathroom. The biggest advantage is that it is almost in the center. It has its own parking lot (although we didn't use it), it is easy to find. Our room had raw wood furniture, it is cozy. There is air conditioning everywhere, in this heat of the year it was very useful, the attic room was also very pleasant. The whole house is clean and tidy. There is no permanent reception, but this is not a problem at all...

I spent one night here. Nice, friendly host. Close to the wine cellars (150-200 m). Clean, friendly room (not too big). The bathroom is also adequate (also quite small, but clean), equipped with a shower. Perfect for a wine trip.

Been there to eat so can’t tell much about the rooms. In a wuiet part of Sopron, seating both in the yard or inside, service is nice and included in the price. Food variety is limited but made fresh which is more important. Schnitzel and Cordon are 10/10, pizza is okay but nothing special. Been there a few times and will definitely visit again.

Small old Hotel/pension, super food, near center. Amazing food, petfect service and staff, old floors and walls are nousy... Vety close to the city.

It was relatively affordable for two nights ate one of the tastiest Salami pizza. They could do better on Breakfast and having more people who can speak English or German. That was my challenge but it finally worked out.

The hotel was easy to find. The room was very clean and warm. The reception is 24 hours occupied and the service was very good. The young man at the front desk tried hard to find me a place to eat late in the night on a week day. They have a good parking place with cameras just outside the hotel. Next time I shall try the SPA as well.

The location was not import for me so i could not comment , the room was clean but dated , it did not affect my stay, value for money , it was very good, no noise , the spa was a bonus The staff were excellent,nothing was too much trouble , breakfast was ample.

I really enjoyed my stay in this cozy and comfortable hotel. Everything was great - clean room, tasty and rich breakfast and spa. The place is not far from the city centre and Raba Quelle Thermal Spa.

Aging property but very clean and fantastic staff.

Hotel was clean but the staff was not helpful. We needed to be picked up by the hotel shuttle from the airport, but the overnight attendee would not answer the phone. We had to pay for taxis from the airport. A/C in the room was broken, told the attendee and he told us to just open the window.

We had to go down for the AC controller. All rooms were open when we arrived. Covered were in the cabinet but only very small pillows. Tiny tv. Refrigerator yes but that’s pretty much it. No elevator. The shuttle was full - driver was really not in a good mood. He loaded the bags but did not offload them. We had food ordered, it was dropped off at the reception - no communication to us about it.

Nice place if you need to stay overnight near Budapest airport

Convenient location for early flights We had an early flight and did not want to wake up too early or travel a lot in the morning. We had a decent sized room, the receptionists were very kind and helpful. I saw the reviews and was slightly concerned but luckily could not find anything negative. We also used the shuttle from the airport and to the airport as well after dropping the hire car off.

Excellent stay for the price! You'll be a car, but the local town was very nice with lots of dining and shopping.

This is a very standard 2 star lodge, but the location, the kitchenette in the room, a public kitchen make it above average. The only setbacks include: only one towel for each person, some are hand towel size; same set of breakfast everyday, not enough protein; only one hand soup in the room.

Nice room, excellent staff, but tram disruptive Room was very nice, bed was okay (too soft for my back, but fine for my wife). But, if you are a light sleeper, then the tram that passes by frequently until late night, and from early morning was quite disruptive.

Perfect Hotel to stay in the centre of town. Rooms are huge with air con also there are balcony on every room. Bathrooms are spacious with a nice shower. Stayed in 2 different rooms during my time here and both where cleaned and made up to a high standard . I will definitely be staying here again soon.

The hotel location is pretty good. Staff speaks German as well. The rooms are very clean but could use a 21st century update. Unfortunately the towel policy is a bit odd. We got one medium sized towel for the whole stay and a literal table cloth for the pool/sauna which was absolutely useless, after asking we did not receive another towel we could use for the pool/sauna area. The room is only 3 stars but the dinner is royal! The hospitality perfect and the park is nice. There is inside pool which is also good.

There are good and bad things, the bad part first: It's not worth getting full pension, as they serve the same food all week, with no variety but the taste is not bad. I recently stayed here for one night and this was an ok experience. Check-in was smooth but lacked a bit of friendliness; no smiles, no 'welcome to our hotel', The room was big and clean as was the bathroom, but in comparison with the room size, this was a small area. Decent rooms and decent breakfast

It was an easy process. We felt safe and the breakfast was delicious.

Hotel staff were courteous but will benefit from additional customer service training such as smiling and show some excitement about the work.

The prices are okay, as is the service, but the food would not be something I would recommend. The soup and the main dish were mediocre at best. The rice, for example, was one of the worst rice I've ever eaten, totally bland and way overcooked. The dessert was pretty good though.

The rooms were clean and up-to-date, kind of like a dorm, which is understandable. We had an AC which was awesome in the summer heat. It is in close proximity with a bus stop, bot otherwise it's pretty far from everything.

The room is clean and nice. The location is good, in a nice neighborhood, although the train passes by and it makes some noise. A big no is that it doesn't have and elevator and there is no one to help with the luggage. The entrance lady is nice but she is not willing to help with questions about Hungary.

The staff is very responsive and kind from the beginning when you first contact them online. People from the hotel reply quickly, fulfill the requests and are very reliable. It is good to know people are always there for their guests and can be at your service. I hope you always stay this way! I recommend people to book this place.

My parents-in-law always stay here when visiting. It's obviously not a five star hotel but the price is rights, the rooms are clean and the staff does their best. I stayed here for 1 night with my sister last summer and our room was really big, almost like a small home. I know I paid double the amount for rooms not even half as big before. The location wasn’t the best for our trip but there was an aldi at a gas station nearby. And the gentleman at the front desk was very kind.

An amazing place to stay in Szeged and in the Summer since the rooms have AC. It is next the Cinema and the major tram line and all the nice restaurants and major attractions including the Cinema which is 50metres away. The hotel had nice staff. One thing though, the Hungarian Breakfast is like no other - it is as brief as a Mini Skirt with limited options.

We had low expectations based on bad reviews. But got very good discount on booking and decided to give it a try. Hotel is absolutely beautiful. I'm not sure why it has so much bad reviews because it is average experience for Szeged. The "drunk" people you see in review are just kids going to club next door. Very comfortable bed, very good (big and silent) fride in the room, air conditioning was a gift in this hot sommer period. Friendly and helpful crew, in case of issue they were cooperative as well. Great place! Stayed for the festival in 2024, and they went above and beyond for us. Very accommodating staff, nice breakfasts, and quiet area near the train station. On checkout day, we slept through two alarms and had to leave after the checkout time. They didn't make a fuss about it (even though they could have and would have been right) and even agreed to look after our luggage for like eight hours...

The hotel's best years are behind it and you can still feel the previous era here. A general renovation is recommended. There is no air conditioning in the rooms. Food average and with little choice. Nice service, there is a swimming pool in the basement, a billard, darts, etc.
