Hotels with pool in Hungary

The rooms are huge! We arrived late, and our booked twin room wasn't available, but the staff were amazing and upgraded our room for us – a big thank you to them! We booked breakfast at the New York Café at the front desk; it was 30 Euros per person

The rooms themselves are a bit dated, especially the bathroom, but everything was clean and in good condition

The room was nice, spacious and clean. Will stay here again if i travel to budapest in future.

This hotel offers incredible value for money, and it's super easy to get to

There's a supermarket right across the street, and the central location is convenient for all the tourist attractions, dining, and transportation

Overall, this hotel was a perfect base for our Budapest stay — comfortable, clean, and super easy to reach.

A good place for the price; it was nice to stroll along the embankment. It's a 20-minute walk to the train station with a suitcase—not far, in my opinion, especially since the route is flat

No hot water (it is warm only), no soap in the bathroom

However, if you don't have a car, it's hard to get there from the train station. Although there is a bus line, there are only around 3 or 4 buses in the afternoon. There is a pool and a hot tub on the ground floor

I also have some issues with the bed—it has a protective oilcloth and a small sheet on top, which causes everything to constantly slide and get out of place, and you have to adjust it to avoid sleeping on a sore mattress

We were absolutely satisfied. The room was clean and cozy, breakfast very good and the wellness was perfect for us. We had a wonderful girly weekend. The whole place is clean, friendly, in the middle of beach area.

The staff is very kind, helpful, the food is delicious, the rooms are clean. There was some disruption in the water supply and the spa, but it was quickly remedied, it didn’t really cause much of a problem

We flew across the ocean, arrived 2 hours earlier, but they gave us the keys right away, as if they were waiting for us. The room is very spacious, comfortable, and has everything you need to spend 10 days comfortably

Everything was perfect, big selection at breakfast and dinner.

Pool area is not so rich, actually pretty small and basic, saunas are ok

We went to this hotel at early February. We opted in for a half board service for 2 days. We enjoyed the hotel, even though it has an older look inside. We found it to be cosy and beds were comfortable

Thermal lake only 5 minutes walk. Staff were very attentive and explained each food as I have wheat and nut intolerance. Spa is great clean and well maintained

Hotel is near the lake which is great. Regarding food, some dishes were excellent, some a little bit less (sweets). Garage parking could be cheaper.

My room was very spacious and comfortable, and I had a beautiful view of the Fisherman’s Bastion, which made the stay even more enjoyable. One small point that could be improved concerns the wellness area

The massage service and the sauna would benefit from a bit more attention. It would be important to always have someone present in the massage center and to extend the sauna opening hours

For example, on Saturday afternoon I asked to book a massage, but I was told that the therapist was not available and would only return on Monday

I had a wonderful stay at Park Plaza Budapest, and the overall experience exceeded my expectations. The hotel itself is stylish, comfortable, and perfectly located, but what truly made the stay exceptional was the staff

The staff was always professional, friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent: varied, high quality and well organized

The room itself was extremely comfortable, well-designed, and equipped with everything you might need. The bed was very cozy, and the overall atmosphere was relaxing and inviting

YES! I can't imagine there is a better hotel in Kecskemet! Very friendly staff,close to everything! The lobby bar is great but the restaurant "Bistro" is just unbelievable. My complements to the Chef!

The location is great, with easy access to public transport, making it simple to get to and from the hotel. The wellness area was a highlight, with an excellent Finnish sauna and steam cabin that I really enjoyed

Lastly, while the wellness facilities were fantastic, I believe adding more beds would make the area even more comfortable and enjoyable for guests

Perfect location and easy to walk. Also rental bikes right across the street. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was great and the Lebanese dinner delicious

Top notch hotel in Budapest! Quiet and comfy room (twin beds could be a bit wider, though), nicely decorated, great shower, outstanding breakfast with the option of freshly squeezed orange juice (do it yourself) and great location (walking distance to many sights)

Luxury branded stores and a good variety of restaurants really neabry, in case that makes a difference for you when choosing where to stay at. 24-hour coffee, tea and water spot steps away from the check-in area

The breakfast was also absolutely delicious, with a variety of cheeses, vegetables, fruits, and marmalades, as well as a wonderful champagne made from local Hungarian grapes. We loved the hotel by all means

The hotel was beautifully decorated, and the seats in the reception hall were quite comfortable, with free coffee and tea and some small snacks. The rooms were clean, tidy and warm

All this said, we would most certainly return and found the place good value and located immediately next to the wonderful baths (with entry generously allowed both on the full day you check-in and the full day you check-out, unlike many Hungarian thermal hotels where entry is often limited)

After all, at breakfast there were three different types of sausages but no sign of regular breakfast items such as cooked peppers, potatoes, mushrooms or tomatoes - all of which we have enjoyed at other Hungarian hotels

The staff were helpful and friendly, accommodating both an early check-in and late check-out (thanks to availability) and the rooms were so elegantly decorated and spotlessly clean

It would be *very* difficult to be vegan here, but the vegetarian dinner options were good as long as you don't have other dietary constraints (such as avoiding gluten or dairy)

The food was excellent quality - although we would have appreciated a little more emphasis on vegetarian options

Beds were extra comfy, and the room was silent - we slept 10 hours thanks to the great room and relaxing waters

Despite the fact that is located in a tourist area, not noisy. Staff - above all praise, cleaned daily and no complaints and can not be. For a child without any problems and payment provided a crib

This is a review for Danubius Hotel Hungaria, as the original Hotel is being renovated and I was offered a free transfer. Everything was great, thank you very much for your hospitality!

I arrived late about 1am and the dark haired chap on night shift at reception gave me a warm welcome the hotel itself is beautiful staff very relaxed and friendly good house keeping

We arrived early in the morning, the staff was kind enough to let us check in early with a surcharge of 15€. I thought it was the best decision after a 7 hours bus ride!😆

I have stayed at this hotel several times, and have never been disappointed. Great location with plenty of food options, coffee shops & supermarket nearby. Nice to have a room with coffee/tea making facilities and fridge

Not far from the center. Great location and fine breakfast. Not glamorous but all ones needs are met! Restaurant Main Stream Kitchen (next door) has a great menu and food was delightful!

The location was very convenient. Near the major attractions and train station as well as other transport options. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

The room was only made up once during our 4 night stay which seemed odd, we were left fresh towels once

Penny’s (Local store) just around the corner, tram on the next street and approximately 20 min walk or so to arrive at parliament building. You can’t really ask more from the rooms, comfy bed and decent shower

Willing to let me check in at 9:00am because the room is available, which I really appreciate. Many hotels don’t let that even though they are not full. The room itself is a bit old, but it is very clean

A fridge is included in the room but there is no complimentary bottles of water so you will need to buy your own. Breakfast was not included in the price and, if required, will cost 15€ per day

Our stay was exceptional as always, even with 3 little kids it was simply perfect

) do require attention to time, and every other hotel we have ever been to had wall clocks clearly visible in the wellness areas. Not having clocks to check the time does impact negatively on the wellness experience

👍 The coctail and the foods are delicious. There are cold and warm pool too, the rooms are comfortable and clean, the staff are kind. There are a lot of programs like boat in the Duna or dinner in the renaissance room

The service at the hotel is excellent, with the entire staff dedicated to providing a pleasant and welcoming experience. The breakfast is rich, fresh, and varied, providing a great start to the day

Unfortunately spa not open on Mondays, it was a shame as we did not know it is not open and we booked the hotel because of having spa facilities. Staff overall attentive, food is good

We drive from Austria often to Sopron for medical reasons and we always look for the best options in terms of hotels in the center of the town with a parking place and specially with a place for the little one to play and have a bit of fun or a pool

Reception was friendly ,maybe a bit more infos about the hotels policy on charging 20 € for new towels in the room would be appreciated,but overall not a big thing

If you want to have a reminiscent experience in a old dated hotel, this is a must go! Plenty of abandoned sections of the building will make you feel as if you made a trip to Chernobyl

The hotel is an impressive building that unfolds many surprises, from an old abandoned section to what looks like a Russian elevator that can withstand an atomic blast

Some rooms are just falling apart while you can enjoy a minimum offer breakfast in a pretty impressive hall. My recommendation: go for it!

I recently stayed at this hotel and truly an outstanding experience from start to finish, The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful We stayed there during my husband birthday and when we returned to our room ,we found a beautifully chilled bottle of champagne waiting for us!!! along with a personalized birthday card from the General Manager

Just returned from 4 day trip to Budapest Xmas markets. Hotel location is excellent for this as just a few paces away from the main section of the Danube as well as the Xmas markets. Rooms were nicely decorated and clean

Only negative is there is not an area in the hotel where we were able to meet up to have a drink with friends we travelled with , so always had to go out and find a separate bar/ coffee shop to do this

Nice little hotel. We were there off season so there were no kids around so it was quiet. Plenty of food at breakfast and dinner. Friendly staff. The room was a bit warm to us but nothing what an open window cannot fix.

Best Spa and Wellness Hotel in Hungary. The rooftop pool is unique in Europe with DJ and les wall. You can visit the city lake in 5 mins next to the spa. With family, friends or couples.

This is a great hotel . Skypool wonderful view.

Excellent location and very well designed public spaces. The SkyPool is a very popular part of it. Excellent for family holiday. Recommend the local cycling paths and kenue-ing on the “Kis-Balaton”.

These days were happiness for all the family. No stress, no problem. Only enjoy togetherness, the perfect services, meals and wellness.

We were given a very cramped room so we paid extra for a more normal room.

My family and I stayed there for one night; it was very relaxing and we felt very comfortable. I was even surprised with a birthday cake. The infinity pool is the highlight

If you stay in the pool area all day and you go for a swim or thermal bath a few times, I guarantee you that your towel is soaking wet. The only positive were the treatments they were giving

The wellness/pool area was very crowded. Lot’s of families with children. I saw children in the thermal baths although that was not allowed. I even saw children running around in the sauna area

We received a towel for the pool area but could only exchange it for another one after 3 nights

On Thursday we finally received fresh towels but still the room was not cleaned

The restaurant was open from 6pm till 10pm. When we arrived at 7:30pm the buffet was already half empty and not refilled. Food was ok but nothing special. It was catering for families with children

When we looked over the balcony of our room we saw pots with plants lying on their side as well as several chairs. Only on Thursday they put everything back up and somewhat cleaned the terrace

Great Hotel with plenty of facilities We had a great time, the breakfast has a lot of choices and a friendly service. The Pool/Wellness facilities are amazing, many many pools and also a lot of fun for the kids

Nice hotel. Conveniently close to the thermal bath and swimming pools. The restaurant offered great selection of items for breakfast and for dinner as well. All in all a good hotel to stay at to relax.

It smells good everywhere, the cleaners deserve special praise for their order and cleanliness: without them, a hotel could not exist anyway! The service fee may be high for many, but anyone who is so exhausted should go to a campsite

In any case, this does not detract from the positives: nice staff, delicious and plentiful food both morning and evening, great wellness area, free entrance to the Elizabeth Bath, excellent bar (with very delicious espresso)

I spend nice weekend at hotel pirozska and found it fantastic. My family was tun. Nicely pool, sauna... etc. Good breakfast and dinner. Surely I will come back :-)

When we came in they forgot to give us a fridge and there wasn't any AC. The pool was great tho. Not really worth the 4 stars but it was alright.

This feeling I however don't have from the part of the hotel restaurant for public guests, so this could be a tip what about you can maybe more think, to get more restaurant guests from the people without accommodation in the hotel

The first class thing in the hotel is sure its wellness and the accessibility of the wellness for free. Again, it is very nice designed, and I want say that I cannot imagine what could there work differently or better

The solution of the breakfast and dinner is, as we think, also opimal, because the people can on the place easy see and choose, what they preffer to eat. As example - in my case I say this as a vegetarian

The wine and cheese from 4-6pm is a lovely touch and the singer needs to sing London Grammar as she would be amazing (she is anyway) but a great stay, love how the lights in the centre of the hotel are the signature of the hotel, and the door handles at the entrance hasn't gone unnoticed, the decor is just lovely! Fab, fab, fab x

The location of the hotel is perfect: next to the shopping district and the famous St Stephen church. The staffs were really friendly and welcoming, and never was there once a bad service

The hotel has a fantastic bar on the top of the hotel, High Note which has a wonderful ambience. The only downer for me was the lack of kettle in the room and the compact gym with minimal equipments

First of all, the location is very perfect. It is very convenient to take a taxi and the subway. There are many good restaurants nearby, so you can enjoy a variety of foods

Oh yes! The hotel serves complimentary wine and cheese during the afternoon, coupled with nice music by the pianist! Overall, great hotel and highly recommended

I stayed in a deluxe king room on the 6th floor. It had a balcony, and overall the experience was very good. Breakfast was served hot, so it had to be cooked to order; other meals were buffet style

It is very close to the ancient city, the transportation is also very convenient, it is easy to find parking spaces nearby, and it is free on Sundays. The breakfast is rich and delicious.
