The location is very central, walking distance to most of the attractions. A very friendly and kind host. We had breakfast everyday prepared by the host and room is cleaned everyday too. Thanks Claudio for the great stay in Napolli.
The most gracious informative host. Claudio went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and welcome. It was a most enjoyable stay!
Perfect for our short stay in the city We were only in the city for one night. The owner was so kind to us. He let us store our bags at the hotel so we could go to Pompeii and tour. He gave us everything that he needed. Yes, it can be a little noisy at night. But people have unreasonable expectation of noise levels when you are staying in the city. You will have noise if you stay in the city. I would...
We had a nice two days in Naples. Claudio was very responsive, helpful and did his best for us . The room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was great. The only issue was getting to the property because streets are being worked on and the area is somewhat hilly.
This was a very clean place with a super helpful, really nice host. It was walking distance to the main walking road in Napoli. We are happy to have stayed here.
Great location in central Naples and a short 10-12 minute walk to old town. We had a car and the owner went out of his way to secure our vehicle overnight and meeting us to open and close the gate where the vehicles are stored. Owner was very friendly and service oriented and helpful.

Hotel is clean, safe and great location. Christian is the man and handles all of our requests promptly. Also, helped in planning our day and activities. Would highly recommend staying here
Our rooms were really amazing. Bathrooms even have heated toilet seats! Right in the heart of the town. Christian made our trip wonderful by providing us with suggestions for what to do and see and he helped us with transportation.
The best service, the best rooms, the best breakfast. The best hotel I stayed in. Highly recommend. Great location, comfy bed, truly amazing staff, informative, and kind. I would stay here again in a heart beat, 10/10 recommend, close to everything around you, but not too far up! So worth it
We had an excellent stay at the hotel. Christian was very friendly and welcomed us at the square in Amalfi. The location of the hotel is great. Our room was very spacious, there were 2 separate rooms inside. There were many amenities in the room, and also good options of drinks and snacks on the fridge. Beth who served the breakfast was very nice and friendly. 😃
The hotel is highly is recommended. Brilliantly located above the bustling Main Street of Amalfi, with terrific double glazing and air conditioning so you are unaffected by the noise. The facilities in the hotel were spot on and the breakfast delightful. The hosts; Christian, Maria and the team provided a warm reception and were always on hand to help and make our stay thoroughly enjoyable.
So glad I booked this place. I was worried the room may be small, but they were very spacious. Booked two rooms. We had the family suite and family junior suite, so spacious we could have just booked the one family suite only, which had a large bed and two twin beds in another separate smaller room. The family junior suite was also very spacious. Very clean, has been updated, comfortable beds, amazing...

This hotel is in a bad area of Naples. Graffiti and trash everywhere, non Italian men staring you down, don't go out at night. Military and police patrolling everywhere all the time. This hotel was a budget hotel. The USBs are so loose you can barely use them, the beds will scoot away from the wall if you lean back. Overall good for the money, good view from the rooftop, but just know that it's not...
Conveniently located from the main rail station, this was a very pleasant stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was clean and well appointed and the breakfast was excellent. A big thankyou to all the staff we met.
Location was great, the room was tidy and clean. The shower in the bathroom was big enough and I appreciated that the water didn't leak out like in many other hotels. The breakfast room was really basic but had enough selection for everyone. From eggs, ham, rashers to cereals, nuts and fruit and sweet treats. I loved the small brewing machine beside the coffee machine where you could get a ginseng...
The location is convenient but the vicinity of the hotel is a bit scary. During our stay there were always a lot of police presence (in the hotel and just outside the hotel). The wall chargers on the 2 sides of the bed did not work, so we were stuck to use the charger by the desk. Coffee machine costs money, and there's no water refill station to use (they told us to use the washroom tap water, but...
Humans is not perfect & I made a mistake on non-refundable booking date ,& asking for some negotiations but hotel is inflexible and rejected all requests even a simple one like take away breakfast because I cannot stay 10-11th Nov 2035 which already paid for but requested to have a simple packed breakfast to go . The hotel is very conveniently located near the station and walkable to most locations we visited in the old town and by the port. It was also well staffed and welcoming. We had a Fantastic stay here in Hotel Smeraldo Sept. 29 - Oct 2, for four nights. I travelled with my son and it was home away from home. The location, it was great close proximity to all of the other towns of Amalfi Coast, the views was out of this world. Our room was very comfortable & looked out to the sea. A beautiful site to see. The hotel manager (Giorgio) was very friendly knowledgeable, informative...
I don’t even know where to begin on how much I recommend this place! The family that runs it are such amazing and sweet people- very patient with ignorant Americans like myself that butcher every word lol. The rooms were designed with so much attention and love in every detail- the hand painted tiles are gorgeous, every room has a view that is unbelievable and the showers are so roomy! The AC is so...
We had an unforgettable 4-night stay at Hotel Smeraldo in Praiano. Our sea-view room exceeded every expectation – spacious, spotless, and offering breathtaking views of Positano. The lemon-themed décor was such a charming touch and made our stay feel even more special in this beautiful region. The restaurant was another highlight, with stunning views, delicious pizza, and genuinely attentive service...
Overall this is a great hotel for a fair price. Some rooms (like mine) have a great view, while everyone can enjoy their breakfast facing Positano. It's family run and everyone working there is friendly. I highly recommend it and wouldn't hesitate to come back! A few points of criticism that you may want to be aware of: 1) Noise from the other rooms can be an issue. I could clearly hear others having...
Just book this hotel asap! There’s so much I can say about how amazing our stay was with this family-run hotel, but it has been mentioned here in previous reviews. We stayed for a weekend at the recommendation of a family member. The facility is a bit dated. It needs some updating, interior walls need painting, and the shower stall needs replacing due to excessive mold and rust. We stayed in room 10. It's a bit cramped, but it's fine for sleeping. There's a fridge, air conditioning, and a TV, which add value. As I mentioned, the little house could use some maintenance...

There’s a reason this is my 11th or 12th stay at Villa Bella Vista, Praiano, Italy. Actually there are 5 reasons! 1. Unparalleled beauty overlooking the Mediterranean Sea and the Faraglioni Rocks of Capri. 2. This establishment is impeccably clean. 3. The breakfast is very nice and included in your stay, the beds are very hard I did not like them. Rooms are nice, we stayed 2 different times during our stay and first stay room smelled musty due to mould in the shower!! Second stay on first floor room was new and renovated.

Lovely property with stunning views over the sea from the front and mountains from the back. Enough to chose from for breakfast, sat eaten with a view over the sea.

Not so good for solo travellers seeking peace - The clue was perhaps in the name “club” but this is primarily a family resort - oool is very busy and club music on. Room was clean and modern, but only suitable for 2/3 night stays and definitely for the younger traveller. It should be made clear you have to traverse awful cobbled roads to get to it as taxis are not allowed close. A very family-friendly and pleasant hotel, very formal in their attention and treatment, when I say family-friendly it is because it gives the impression that it is run by parents with their children and family. Great area, hotel itself is meh.
The building and room were rather charming. The fact that the building we stayed in was an extension of the main facility and located a quarter mile up a hill. We had to roll our bags up the hill and then up the marble steps to our room. After an eleven hour plus plane ride we were exhausted.
It was slightly far from merto staion.
The staff is very helpful and professional. I had been given a room in the annex that was too small, but at my request I was given a nicer one in the main building. It's a shame they no longer offer parking in the garage, but you have to go there yourself. I've been coming to this hotel for years and have always had a good experience, I recommend it.
The listing on ******* mentioned “Parking available” - there is none. We wasted an hour trying to find the one indicated by the reception, but our GPS brought us to a tunnel quite far from the hotel. We gave up and found parking near the hotel but it wasn’t cheap!
The room itself was really nice and spacious but the shower was tedious as the drainage was not working properly and you could only leave the water running for a minute and then wait for the water to drain in order to not completely flood the bath. I still would highly recommend the hotel as the staff was very friendly and helpful and the room itself was great!
