Stayed here with a group of friends and we had a wonderful time! The apartments were very clean and spacious and had everything we needed within! The view from our balcony was incredible and the pool was even better. We enjoyed the restaurant within the hotel and found it reasonably priced. However, the location was not very good at all. The hotel is essentially in the middle of nowhere and on top of a cliff. They’re only a few cafes and restaurants near this hotel, not much in the area at all. Unless you have a car it takes a while to get into the main part of Sorrento but it is possible via bus however we did find them unreliable and they stop running early so beware.

Too remote and high up in the mountain with winding roads. Hard to drive and dizzy every time. Also they only clean the room every 3 days with limited front desk hours and no phone in the room which make it very difficult for any service or request.

My wife and I visited for a few days during our Italy holiday this autumn. I had wanted to visit Sorrento and found Gocce di Capri, of which my wife approved (she's the usual destination chooser). Gocce di Capri is located a few miles west of Sorrento itself and is quite remote in what is in the immediate vicinity. The bus (more on that later) dropped us off in the small village square of Termini from which Gocce di Capri is just a few minutes walk. Arriving at the resort we were greeted with gorgeous views overlooking the Gulf of Naples. Our arrival was welcomed warmly by Mike and another young lady whose name I fail to recall. We were checked in quickly and given directions to our apartment towards the end of a complex. The atmosphere is incredibly relaxing and chilled and carries a very Mediterranean feel (strange that). The apartments are all completed in whitewash with terracotta tiles to the exterior giving it a very clean and well kept finish. The whitewash finish extends to the interior of our apartment with contrasting tiles of shades of blue. You'd think it would feel clinical and stark but it felt incredibly welcoming and just lovely. Our apartment consisted of a small kitchenette with fridge/freezer, kettle and toaster, sink and drainer and some wall mounted cupboards for the usual kitchen stuff. Opposite the kitchen area was a sofa-bed and small table & chairs. A short walkway passed by a good sized bathroom with walk in shower and into the large bedroom area. Furniture was basic but adequate throughout. The bed was firm but comfortable and the apartment had very efficient air conditioning. Not so much a negative point, but the bedsheets must be laundered with a high starch content as I felt a bit like a mouse in a crisp packet getting into bed. Once in and settled it was all fine, though. French doors in the bedroom pass onto a large balcony with views overlooking Capri which looks particularly stunning in the morning sunlight. Overall the apartment was really nice and while not huge, would be just the kind of thing single me would have loved to live in - a perfect space for a holiday for two. It's worth noting that the walls of the apartment were uber thin and we could hear with clarity everything happening next door, and that obviously works the other way too. If you're thinking of doing the horizontal bedroom tango then you'd need to be very discreet and if you tend to have noisy bathroom events then just be aware that if your immediate neighbours are home, they are going to hear. Food at the resort is really nice and not overpriced considering they have a captive clientele. Breakfast is plentiful and with enough options to keep most people satisfied. The main restaurant could do with a few more options on the menu but is still very good and the service was always swift and pleasant. A big thanks to Toni for looking after us in the evenings. What a wonderful experience Gocce di Capri is. From the warm welcome of all the staff to the most perfect location overlooking Capri, Ischia and the bay of Naples. Just stunningly beautiful it took my breath away. The sunsets are incredible! The room was cool with a large balcony with amazing views. very well equipped kitchen, dining area and patio to the rear. Everywhere was clean and sparkling. Food at the restaurant was a culinary delight and so well presented. Wow! That huge pizza was delicious. The hotel is peaceful and tranquil, away from the hustle and bustle of Naples that is 50k away, the perfect place for relaxing. The nearby village is 10 minutes walk away where there is a shop and a bar and lovely coastal walks too. There are local buses to the main town of Sorrento. I came away with lovely memories of my stay and will definitely return one day.

What a brilliant place to stay out of the craziness of Sorrento but close enough to it that you don’t miss out. The staff really made our stay incredibly special with a big shout out to Rafael and and Andrea in the bar and Tony in the restaurant and in the office Antonella. The facilities are fantastic. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. The Location is brilliant but the service was the thing that was so thoughtful. We would return to our room. The Air Conditioning would be on crispy fresh sheets on the bed every day and the food was wonderful. Definitely recommend you get the breakfast inclusion because it’s a great way to start the day sitting in the restaurant looking at that view. Would definitely return and recommend.

This was our second visit to this hotel with Tui. When we initially booked the hotel a hire car for the duration of the visit was in place of transfers. We had to postpone our holiday for 12 months because of health issues. In this period the car had been replaced with a transfer. This was not what we booked and after much complaining Tui agreed to supply a car as originally booked. Sounds good!! No the hire car was with Carwiz! Firstly demanding a voucher not supplied by Tui despite me asking for one. Then they demanded 700 euros that we may or may not get back. Whilst debating with the rather rude representative of Carwiz my partner googled them and we were so shocked that we decided not to accept the car and hired another car from eurocar. A wise decision. The resort was to be honest a little tired looking and although had allegedly had a refurbishment since we had last visited there was no real evidence of this. The bathroom was very tired and the shower was very small and quite awkward to get in and out of. At times there was a sewer smell in the apartment. The facilities in the room were adequate but dated and very basic. The pool area needed a good clean as there were what appeared to be black mould on the grout and fittings in the pool. We felt the resort did the bear minimum they had to do. The resort is quite remote and there was no entertainment and the bar area close very early in the evenings. This is a shame as the resort is very remote and it is easy to entertain yourself in the day utilising the buses in the evening there is very little to entertain guests. The restaurant on site had however improved greatly since our last visit. The resort the staff were amazing, very friendly and helpful. Sadly we broke our golden rule and returned to a resort previously visited. We would not return again.

This hotel is really a big bummer. I don't know why it has a 4.3 rating. In order to prevent anyone from being misled to place an order, I will complain about the problems of this hotel in detail:
1⃣️ Psychedelic location: My family and I rented a car in Naples first, then drove to Pompeii-Sorrento-Positano-Amalfi-Ravello, and finally returned to Naples to return the car, and then flew to France. It was a total of 4 days and 3 nights. Because my family and I don't like the special forces itinerary very much, we want to choose a hotel with the most suitable location and can stay for 3 consecutive nights, drive every day, and travel at any time. Search for hotels in Sorrento on Ctrip, and this hotel is the top recommendation on Ctrip's homepage. But in fact, this hotel is not in Sorrento at all, it is on the hillside outside the city, and there is nothing around it. Although the hotel is less than 13 kilometers away from Sorrento in a straight line, it takes 40 minutes to drive from the hotel, and it is all winding mountain roads. It takes less than an hour to drive from Sorrento to Positano, but it takes 70 minutes to drive from this hotel to Positano. Driving out of the hotel, no matter where you drive, you have to drive half an hour on the winding mountain road before you can get on the main road. I am also drunk. I would like to ask Ctrip, why is it so inconvenient to give it a top push? Usually, when booking a hotel, the recommendation of the platform is an important reason for many people to consider. Can you please pay more attention to Ctrip and don’t let down the trust of customers?
2⃣️Bad room: I booked a deluxe open-style sea view room this time, with a room rate of nearly 2,000 per night, and the room was like a simple homestay. The balcony in the room type introduction is simply a joke. There is a small open space when the door is opened, and insects crawl around. There is a table, and there is a small road in front. There is not even a step. How can you call it a balcony? The bathroom has not been cleaned carefully at all, and the odor is very strong. There are spider webs and dust on the windowsill. There was dust everywhere in the room. After sleeping for a night, my rhinitis was immediately activated. I kept sneezing and was extremely embarrassed. I went to Sorrento to buy medicine early the next morning. I have to say that the room pictures uploaded by the platform are simply optimized to the extreme, almost catching up with AI. My family and I placed the order after seeing the pictures and thinking they were good. If these pictures are provided by the hotel itself, can you Ctrip check them a little?
3⃣️Outrageous situation: There is no mobile phone signal or Wi-Fi signal in the room. I don’t know if foreigners can tolerate this situation, but I think Chinese people can’t tolerate it. I returned to the hotel room at night and found that my mobile phone had no signal at all. I wanted to go to the reception to change rooms, but I found that the staff had gone off work after 8 pm. No one was on duty, so I could only stand outside the reception door to reply to messages (only here was the WiFi signal full). Then when I went there later, I found that two foreigners were also standing there with their laptops surfing the Internet. So it is a common phenomenon that there is no signal in the room. Poor me, I worked as a doorman for more than two hours on the night of September 30 (because of the time difference, it was already October 1st in China, and it was my birthday on National Day, so I had to make calls and send messages). I went to the front desk to complain, and the staff said sorry to me, then shrugged and shook her head, saying that she couldn't do anything, and there was no room for me to change even though it was fully booked. It was really terrible. There were two other intolerable problems when I complained: First, the shower head on the top of the bathroom only sprayed cold water, no matter how I adjusted it, it was always cold water, and in the end I could only use the handheld shower head with a normal but unfixed water temperature to quickly rinse. I was really angry! Second, there was no quilt in the room, and there were only two layers of sheets on the bed. When I found out that there was no quilt on the first night, the front desk was off work and no one cared. My family and I slept on the sheets with bathrobes on. The next day, I asked the cleaning staff for a quilt, and they brought a piece of cotton wool without a quilt cover. I was really furious. How can such a hotel with nothing good still be open? It should have closed down long ago!
To sum it up, the hotel is far from anywhere and inconvenient (it is basically impossible to get around without driving), and the hardware and software are ridiculously bad. I really can't think of any reason why this hotel can be recommended at the top. My 4-day free travel in southern Italy + birthday was ruined! So everyone who sees my personal experience, quickly block this hotel, and don't step on the thunder again!

A village-style hotel on top of a mountain. Traveling to and from the hotel to the city is inconvenient, there is no Uber or taxi service, and reservations made through the hotel are expensive. The restaurant in the hotel is absolutely delicious, especially the pizza and pasta. The pool is large and deep, the atmosphere is great, and the kids were delighted.
