Where to stay in Naples

A wonderful 7 nights spent in a beautiful Italian palace turned into a fabulous hotel. The neighbourhood was a bit rough and devoid of nice restaurants but the Palazzo’ restaurant was wonderful. The staff were brilliant and friendly and helpful and we will definitely return

The rooms were not the best. The beds were terrible. Roberta was the only staff member who made the stay Somewhat tolerable.

The property is quite spectacular, though the neighborhood is somewhat rough (garbage, traffic, laundry, etc…) There was no hot water in the shower, and the hot tub was out of service. Dining on the property was a fantastic experience. The staff were of average friendliness — nothing remarkable, but not bad either.

Meh. If you can’t find anything else, then this is fine. The rooms are nice and clean. There is NO bar. Although it say so, the other reviews are correct. There are non. It’s just the breakfast room where you can buy a drink - no menu card. No nothing. The breakfast was horrible. Don’t buy. The service was fine. We did get to check in early which was great. But don’t expect anyone to go up and beyond...

Great location, excellent property at a good price. It's a shame that check-out is by 10:00 AM. You can leave your luggage (free) at the hotel after check-out. Recommended.

Fantastic view and great staff

Very good 4-star hotel with a breathtaking view over the bay of Napoli. Clean rooms, overall nice front desk staff, efficient housekeeping team and a good breakfast buffet. They have a wonderful rooftop terrace with a good restaurant too. Thumbs up to Alessandro, one of the waiters there, who was outstanding!

Had a great stay at Hotel Paradiso! Hotel was nice, clean, comfortable and staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel facilities are good, but the transportation is extremely inconvenient unless you take a taxi.

The room is big, it is no problem for four people to stay in it, and it is very clean. The front desk is very polite. I arrived at the hotel early, so I left my luggage at the hotel. When I came back, my luggage had been put in the room. The location is also very good, right at the pier, and it is very convenient for buses and taxis.

From December 27th to December 29th we stayed in this hotel in Napoli. In the room there is no cleanliness and there are flies that make it difficult to sleep at night. It is possible to hear everything the other guests say (door, children, telephone conversation). The breakfast is below normal, however some employees are rude.

Just next to the pier, it's very convenient to take a boat. However, the surrounding environment is poor and the traffic is too high.

Enjoyed the property. Elevator needs to have a better mechanism to automatically close the doors. Many times during our stay Elevator users would not close the doors properly when disembarking, so when someone else on a different level tried to call the elevator it would not respond. As a result you would have to use the staircase which became quite annoying.

Nice room but not worth it! It's on the 6th and the lift didn't work! There is no stock of water in the kitchen so we had to walk to the city in the middle of the night to find some! And the breakfast was just a coffee and a pastry!

Unlike the old 6-storey building and the elevator, which probably belongs to the industrial heritage, the 3 rooms of this B&B are ultra-modern. You have all the comforts and it is very clean. Communication with staff does not take place directly, but via WhatsApp, among other things. My husband and I stayed here for a couple of days while on holiday. A close walking distance from the metro station makes other areas of Naples accessible (though the area might be a bit shady). Convenient location. But I only found out afterwards that it’s a dangerous neighbourhood. Friendly staff. Really helped us all the way. Some questionable policies - no free luggage storage available and no bringing outside food into the rooms

The restaurant is especially great value with 2 types of tourist menus, meat or seafood. We had meat that started with amazing gnocchi in tasty cheese/tomatoes sauce. The hotel is a little far from Naples Airport, so it's best to take a taxi. There are many Chinese companies, shops, and restaurants around. The hotel service is good and the rooms are clean. If you are transiting in Naples or arriving late on an international flight, this is an ideal place to rest.

In the Chinese area, you will hear the sound of firecrackers in the distance at night, which makes you feel like you are in China. It's a pity that the restaurants close early.

This hotel is in the perfect location, 2 minutes walk from the central train station. It is clean, has very good air conditioning, breakfast is good although some of it is served by staff. All in all, a very good place to stay, I highly recommend it.

This is an older hotel that looks and feels run down. It is best used for those who need to be near the train station. The receptionist over charged me for city tax for a  5 star hotel.  This is at best 3 stars and at the lower end of those. I expected more after having read the reviews. It was disappointing.

The hotel is very convenient to reach, few minutes from the Napoli Central Train station. The 2 Metro lines are also very close so exploring the city becomes that much easier. We’ve stayed at Ibis hotels before but this was definitely the best and better equipped than other hotels we’ve stayed at this trip. Plenty of hanging,shelves etc. staff were very friendly, the buffet style breakfast wasn’t for us, a bit hectic but the the area was kept really clean and items topped up. Water was provided only for the first night which is penny / euro pinching. We were staying for 9 nights and when I queried this I was told you can buy it from your mini-bar or the bar. Both expensive options, when if you had booked for individual nights it was standard. You do not get a reduced rate for multiple nights so why a reduced service ? The hotel is in an ideal location close to the harbour and beach. Lots of shops and dining options in the area within walking distance. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very nice and the room was clean and comfortable.

The hotel is located in the ZTL area, within walking distance of many great restaurants. The two of us girls felt very safe; it's also within easy walking distance of the beach and various attractions. Parking is in an indoor parking lot a 5-minute walk away for €35/24 hours. The receptionist was very welcoming and even used a map to mark many excellent restaurants for us.

We stayed one short night, the area was safe to walk around with lots of shopping and restaurants and bars that open late. The hotel is in a great location but is on the older side and like 3 star rating quality. Service was good and friendly.

This hotel is recommended by a friend in Naples. It is a bit far from the city center, but the No. 169 bus at the door goes directly to the city center. I can't praise the hotel's breakfast and facilities, but I can only say that they are just okay.

Located in a row behind Naples Central Station, it's relatively quiet and convenient for getting around. The hotel lobby is clean, the room isn't large, but the bathroom is clean and tidy. It's more than adequate for a solo trip and is quite standard.

The room was pretty good, but the first floor is being renovated. The environment is very poor. You should be reminded before booking. There is no place to rest after checking out. So if there is another choice, I may make other plans.

Beautiful hotel, clean and comfortable room. Nicely decorated indoor with antiques everywhere. Front desk staffs were especially thoughtful and polite. Transportation was not as convenient as those located beneath the hill but the view made it wrothy for the walk. May take cable car instead if in rush. The most beautiful hotel in all of Naples and you'll love every second. The view is impossible to beat and we spent every second taking photos of the awesome view.

Hotel was in a convenient location with amazing views from the terrace and roof top. Easy access to parts of the city by funiculars that were close by. Downside was that roof top was off limits to guests for two of the three days staying at the hotel. Some of the lower scores are down to this is an old converted building. However the room had a damp smell and the fittings were not of great standard. The hotel was beautiful. The history is amazing. The food is not good. We ate there twice. It was very expensive and was not very good. The “burger” was loaded with cheese. I like cheese, but it had a ridiculous amount. We had dinner and it was pretentious.

Hotel itself is great. Clean rooms, great breakfast, and friendly staff. Elevator was having a few issues. Location was close to the train station but a good walk to most touristy things. Streets are a little dark at night so be aware of surroundings but likely not a concern in busy season.

The internet was VERY unstable and I often had to ask them to restart the router on my floor since it was disconnecting itself. Hotel is immaculately clean. All the staff were very nice and front desk super helpful. We loved Enzo at the front desk but truly all the staff was helpful and very pleasant. Great hotel. Central for the main stations for wider exploration. Easy to get out on foot to Spacca Napoli and everything else Napoli has to offer. Clean, tidy rooms with a relaxing roof terrace for unwinding. Fab, friendly and very helpful staff team as well. When I come back to explore more I know where to stay.

It was conveniently located near the highway interchange. There was a parking lot nearby, but the staff were gone from around 3:00 to 6:00, so it was inconvenient to be unable to get your car in or out. The breakfast was good, with a wide variety of options.
