Reviews
Clean man very bad
Location near to metropolitan
Overpriced hotel. Not worth the monies spent.
First night my flight was delayed, check in desk is limited so no one there after 11pm. They forgot to send the PDF to check in after hours. Had to figure it out on my own.
They offer daily housekeeping and I think that’s suppose to be a selling point but no. Didn’t clean during my stay every night.
On the first night bedsheets looked dirty. Hole in pillow case. I went to front desk the next morning to show them and they said they had to wait on their manager. Would not call manager.
On missed cleaning day, needed new sheets. Got them at the front desk, very first towel had a hair. Disgusting.
Bathtub all marked up. Shower/ tub wand broken.
Bath floor towel had an eyelash extension. I don’t wear that so definitely wasn’t mine.
I did asked for a refund to just got to another hotel but again manager could not be called. And they expected me to just wait around.
Do with this information as you wish.
I would never return.
There is no door from reception and dining to the rooms. Everyone seems to bang around making noise early in the morning. Glad I was only staying one night
Location.
Location is central close to major attractions in Rome but it is very close to Termini station and as a result, there are lots of homeless and sketchy people around. The hotel is on the forth floor and on the ground floor of the building on the way to elevator, there are homeless people sleeping, so early mornings and late evenings you literally have to step over them.
Room.
We stayed in superior double room, it is very small and very old.
Every morning we had issue with hot water, you would need to wait 15 to 20 min before it starts running hot and some mornings we did not have it at all, we spoke to younger gentlemen at the reception, he did not seem to care much, he promised he would take care but he never did. Not a surprise at all....
Breakfast.
They provide a nice continental breakfast, and they have a very nice lady working there who provides amazing service.
That is the only reason i give this hotel a 2 star review, if it was not for her i would rate it as 1!
Price.
Definitely overpriced, there are much nicer hotels in Rome for same price and much better service!
In addition to all that, on our last night at the hotel, They offered us to schedule a taxi service to airport next morning, the price was a little bit higher but we decided to use their service so we do not need to arrange a taxi ourselves, and guess what? the taxi has never arrived..... so we had a very nervous hour since it was January 1st and it was very hard to catch a taxi that morning.
I hope my review will help other people to choose a right hotel in beautiful Rome, so they can fully enjoy their stay!
As for me I would not consider to book this hotel even for 50 euros a night!
Cafe and Restaurants near hotel
Also the main dishes we had weren’t to our taste.
The main pros are the great location, assuming you will use public transportation, and the breakfast is pretty good.
The rooms look extremely nice at a first sight but as soon as you get settled in you realize things don't work well. The shower was broken and the AC was malfunctioning in my room. The wifi was terrible and would just not work at all even tho I was here on the low season. Things I would expect of a budget hotel but definitely not a 5* infrastructure.
I complained about the wifi because I needed to take an important call but the reception person only got rid of me saying they would check with the maintenance person the next morning and it didn't get better at all.
