The room we had was a newer refurbished modern style which clean and bright and very quiet however would bring eye mask and ear plug if your a light sleeper as corridors do echo a bit.
Cleaning staff friendly and rooms clean.
Breakfast your classic meats, cheese, cereals and pancake offering with juices and coffee, tea. Staff where lovely.
As mentioned by other review wifi is patchy so maybe consider your own data plan, phone plan.

Our triple room was exquisitely decorated, feeling more like a private apartment than a hotel room.
The staff treated us like family, anticipating our needs without being intrusive. They were instrumental in making our trip special especially housekeeping and restaurant staff.
The breakfast was amazing. The juices, local pastries, and coffee created the perfect leisurely start to our mornings.

We stayed at this hotel for 6 nights as a group of 13 people (6 rooms), and unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant.
First of all, the lighting in the rooms is very poor, and although housekeeping arranges the bed daily, they don’t actually clean the rooms. There was a bad smell in some rooms, and one room in particular (Room 348) was extremely noisy because of the hotel’s ventilation or fresh air system.
The service was terrible – we were not provided with water daily, unlike in most hotels. The breakfast was disappointing, with food that was not fresh at all.
What made things even worse was the attitude of some of the male staff, especially at the front desk, who behaved in a rude and racist manner. This left a very bad impression on our whole group.
Definitely not recommended. This hotel needs major improvement in cleanliness, service, and staff behavior.
The 15min walk from the main station termini was no trouble at all with suitcases, barely any cobble stones.
For a night or two in Rome by train on a smaller budget this is the perfect hotel
The hotel has an elevator but you do have to get your luggage up five steps to get to the reception
