One more thing, don't book a breakfast rate. The hotel's breakfast is very low quality food and they want an additional 10EUR just to add omelets or pancakes.
The location is pretty good, but it's about a 20 minute walk to/from the train station so plan accordingly.
Location is convenient. Just about 10-15 mins walk from Trevi Fountain and shopping areas.
Rooms are decent but toilets need improvement. One of the rain shower was not working well. Shower area doors does not close tight and causes the floor to get wet. There is a musty smell from the toilet. This could be because the hotel is pretty old and will need some upgrade and improvement to be done. Will always be good to have more hanging areas especially for coats.
All the staff at this hotel are absolutely wonderful. They are very friendly and lepful and willing to go out of their way to help you.
I would not hesitate recommending the Grand Hotel Palace Rome. I only wish that we could return here once again.
