I booked a double room advertised in specific photos and measuring 18 square meters, obviously paying more than the standard room. The room couldn't have been larger than 10-12 square meters, which had a lower price. After I complained to reception, they told me that the other room was even smaller!
Anything goes, seeking a "quality/price" compromise is fine, but not being ripped off.

Very warm welcome and helpful advice. Easy to use metro to travel into centre of city. Comfy rooms. Very pleasant breakfast experience. Would definitely stay at Hotel Pergola again.

The hotel's exterior, lobby and small garden are very nice and modern, but the rooms are something else. They could use some renovation, and the walls are very thin and you can hear all the neighbors' conversations but they have air conditioning. Staff is great. Very nice and customer-friendly, and the parakeet cage is a plus. Good location close to supermarkets, several restaurants and the metro station. Standard sweet breakfasts and very good quality. I recommend it for a short stay in Rome

There are no words to describe what Mr. Sergio represents at Hotel la Pergola. He is much more than a concierge. In addition to mastering almost all languages, he is extremely cultured, elegant and polite. helpful and kindly informs everything the guest needs or wants to know. Hotel close to Metro Station with easy travel into centre of Rome. Supermarket, shops, cafes and restaurants close by. Room comfortable with en-suite, towels changed daily and bed made. Breakfast Buffet offering freshly made coffee, croissants/pastries, toast, ham, cheese, and cereals. Staff very friendly with big shout out to Sergio on Reception, very knowledgeable and always happy welcoming and happy to see us. No dining options other than breakfast, but plenty of places to sit and relax with drinks purchased from local shops. It was a great base for us to spend a few days in Rome. Can highly recommend.

The hotel was wonderful, especially Jianny was the top !!Helpful and extremely kind.The location was perfect because a metro station was 5 minutes walk from the hotel.Please the breakfast should have more options like vegetables and omelettes and eggs too..

A good hotel for few days stay in Rome. It has a good location since the metro station is close, also the supermarket is in few minutes walk which is really convenient.
There are some good points and something that needs to be improved:
- very friendly and kind receptionists;
- beautiful garden;
- good renovated bathroom;
- very tasty breakfasts, especially if you are a fun of croissants - you need to try them, very fresh and tasty

- the rooms could be renovated;
- too dark in the room;
- the cleaning could be improved (there was one piece of pasta in our room on the floor since we checked in and it wasn’t cleaned till we check out);
- too noisy in the room (the walls are too thin and you can hear everything from other rooms).

Anyway the stay was good, we didn’t complain about anything and there was no major issues at all.
