Our family really enjoyed our stay at the River Chateau. The neighborhood has excellent food/beverage options and is located within walking distance of the historic Ponte Milvio bridge and exercise path. The staff and service at the hotel were exceptional. We stayed in the Presidential Suite and found the room to be quiet and comfortable.

I needed somewhere near the Paideia International Hospital, and this looked like the best option, an easy bus ride away. I wouldn’t call it a 4-star room — felt more 3-star given the size of the room and bed, a tiny shower, etc — but the staff were friendly and it worked for my purpose of just having somewhere to sleep.

I needed to be in the neighborhood and this hotel was great. Staff was kind and had very nice English capabilities for a non-speaker. Neighborhood was great

River Chateau Hotel has an excellent location: in the evening you can find several restaurants nearby, and walking along the river is a real plus. I often come back mainly for this. However, the rooms feel a bit dated, some with carpet, and in certain cases the bathrooms could use renovation. Overall, the value for money is not the strongest point.

We really enjoyed staying at River Cheteau Hotel during our vacation in Rome. The decor is very pretty with marbled floors in the hallways and in the room’s bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the room was quiet. The breakfast had a good variety of fresh fruit and cheese and their cappuccino was amazing. There are direct bus lines that run from the hotel to the Colosseum and Vatican. It would be great if the hotel got an ice machine but the staff was super nice and gave us free ice from the bar :)

I just had the pleasure of staying at the River Chateau Hotel in the Ponte Milvio part of Rome for the first time. I had a great experience at the hotel which was lovely and the service exceeded my expectations. The surrounding area is charming with a few good restaurants, cafes, bars and a great gelateria/pastry shop. The hotel is about a 15-minute walk to a wonderful little shopping area and a quick ride by Taxi into the center of Rome. I will definitely stay at the River Chateau again on a future trip to Rome.

Exceptional Hotel
Great hotel! Staff is customer focused, professional, friendly and attentive. Definitely felt like I was in Rome with the beautiful decor. Very very very clean!!! Bed was so comfortable! Breakfast was outstanding and coffee was the best we’ve had in Italy. Wish this hotel was in the US! Would definitely stay again! We had to leave early before breakfast was served so the front desk (Gabriel) had a to-go bag ready for us. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!

A jewel not in the heart of Rome.
Location brilliant just north of the Tiber near Ponte Milio. Hour's walk to Rome central near Forum and Coliseum. Hearty breakfast clean rooms with minibar. Aircon rooms were spacious, toiletries were ample, no tea/coffee making in room is the only downside. Onstreet parking opposite if no space in small carpark to rear. Local pubs and clubs offer ample food choices if not eating in.Ideal location as Rome is not car friendly for non residents.

This is in an area of night life. Just down the street you have multiple bars and restaurants with music. Close to soccer stadium.
