Two Ducks Hostel in Rome

Two Ducks Hostel exceeded my expectations for a hostel and especially with some of the reviews I have read. They allowed us to store our luggage when we arrived early. Rooms were large and very clean. We saw them cleaning when we arrived as well. This hostel has an elevator which was amazing as most older buildings do not. When other guests arrived on day 2, the bathroom was clearly more dirty but that is not the fault of the hostel owners, as they cleaned it every morning. I think when staying in a hostel, you should expect that the cleanliness and experience to depend largely on who else is staying there. We were given towels and bed sheets as well! On our second night, it was a bit harder to unlock the door due to the bolts not lining up, but we were able to figure it out in about 5 minutes. There is no AC or heater but you can open and close the window (will have to finagle it a bit) as you please and use the provided blankets. Traveling from the US, you should know that AC and heater is less common in many European countries so do not expect it, especially at this amazing price! The location was absolutely amazing and walkable to everything. Exactly what you should expect from a hostel!

Great place to stay for young people travelling. Great location and comfortable beds. Anis welcomed us at reception and could not have been nicer.

Great hostel, very helpful receptionist and in that price this is the best place to stay in Rome. The rooms are large and very clean and it's quiet. Near to the termini station.
