Two Ducks Hostel in Rome

I thought I was going to get kidnapped but it was cool in the end. There were 3 glasses of water in the fridge I don't know if it had drugs in it anyway I didn't drink them. There was a dirty surgical mask behind my bed but it was ok. Also there was air conditioning but I think it was only hot but it wasn't too hot to have ants in the room, but maybe that's what prevented the cleaning crew from doing the cleaning. But other than that the balcony was very nice.

Avoid this place. They cancelled my daughters booking the night before she was due to check in due to “overbooking” via message after midnight. No mention of refund which she is chasing
She was up until 2am booking an alternate accomodation which cost $100 more per night as all the cheap options were gone

Took us ages to find it because there was no sign, just a name on a building next to the buzzer. It looked very illegal; like some sort of double letting scam. We were lead to a shop down the road to pay because they were not able to accept cards. We were then lead to a flat down the road from the hostel where we were given a room. There was 2 beds for the three of us. The whole experience made us very uncomfortable and the flat was filthy. There was loads of gone off food in the fridge, a very mouldy pizza in the oven (which also didn't work), the microwave stank, the shower was disgusting and the floors were black with dirt. My friend spent the whole time suffering with allergies because of the amount of dust. The staff were rude and aggressive. There was no air conditioning and the fan didn't work so the room was very hot. The whole experience was very uncomfortable and i would very much not recommend anyone stays here. The price is tempting but i would highly recommend that you find somewhere else.

Bad spot manager rude, disrespectful, presumptuous, not available for nothing, the place is a toilet at risk of disease speaks an incomprehensible language, FOR ME, IS THE MOST LOUSY WHERE I WENT PEOPLE MISERABLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hope that close so you have to think about how you behaved that night with all the customers. And I Repeat You Miserable!!!!!

They need to improve the place. Rooms not very comfortable. Lack of electrical connections. Good to stay one night. Location good.

Good Wi-Fi. But unfriendly staff (Badly joked with my name), unconfortable shower room, BED BUG (7 bites)
