Rome, Via Marsala 50 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel located in very very perfect location. Just doorstep from the main station. However room is a bit old but overall inside was clean. If considering with location, overall restaurant and hotels nearby
No hot water! I was freezing after my shower the next day! There was no heating in the room either. I turned on the so-called central air conditioning, but it was so loud it was unbearable! The service was decent though
Stayed for a night when i reached rome and it was really close to termini station. Room was very basic. Good for short stay
This hotel considering as your perfect choice. Also internet wifi is very fast
I didn't experience hot water for my face until after 8 AM the next morning. I booked two nights for about 70 euros per night, but with a 6 euro city tax per night, I paid a total of 12 euros to the hotel
The room was incredibly run-down and basic, nothing like the nicely renovated rooms shown in the pictures. The faucet was ancient, and there was no hot water at night, whether early or late

Rome, Via di Ripetta, 231 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Ripetta is our favorite hotel. Clean, good breakfast, centrally located.
The location is really good, especially if you rent a car and drive yourself, there is a very convenient parking lot next to the hotel. Breakfast and room-related services and facilities are really good.
I was here for two nights, I loved the place 😍, Great Service, even better Staff! Thank you for the amazing experience! ❤️ It was life changing, First time visiting Rome, Picked the Best Hotel!
Especially the elderly service staff who took me into the room and introduced various aspects and functions when I first checked in, made me feel particularly kind
I think everything was good, from the hotel waiters to the Romans I met along the way, everyone's enthusiasm and thoughtfulness left me with a good impression
Everyone was very personable, polite and friendly! The rooms are swanky and well set up. Breakfast was delicious and fresh every morning!

Super friendly helpful staff! Reasonable rates, centrally located to everything, great restaurants and shopping within minutes
Rebecca made travel plans for us and was extremely helpful. Paulo was extremely helpful on the weekend. He made arrangements for us and took good care of our luggage and us!! I appreciate both of them and their help
It was in the perfect location. Not too busy and not too quiet.
Room 11 is quiet and cosy, with a high ceiling and a fan, air conditioning, 3 beds, and a view on the Piazza del Viminale with shutters that can keep the room dark if you need to
Our hostess also gave us recommendations and a map to help us around Rome!
Our room was nice. It wasn't fancy but it was clean, spacious and had a nice view into a courtyard
Hotel Dorica was honestly a gem in the hundreds of thousands of hotels in the area! First, we took the train so the hotel was not a very far walk from the Termini

Rome, Piazza Montecitorio 131 (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Our room was comfortable, clean, and surprisingly quiet considering how central the location is. The staff were warm, professional, and always happy to help with recommendations
Another nice bonus is that one of Rome’s most famous gelato spots, Giolitti, is just a short walk away—perfect for an evening stroll and dessert. The hotel itself has a charming classic Roman atmosphere
It was incredibly convenient to explore the city on foot, with many great restaurants, cafés, and historic landmarks nearby. One thing we really appreciated was how safe the area felt
The hotel is located right next to the Palazzo Montecitorio, which houses the Italian Parliament, so there is always a visible security presence around the square
I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and very well-located place to stay in Rome, and I would happily return on my next visit
The front desk was very helpful and respectful at check in and check out. If I ever come back to Rome and it’s in my budget I will definitely highly consider staying here again

Hotel
Was ok ok with basic amenities and location was central
Pool was a nice touch considering it was 36 degrees. Younger members of staff had an amazing work ethic. Only dissapointment was no kettle in the room and no room service thus no hot drink when you need to leave early
We could walk to various attractions within 30 minute walk, this was a bonus. We loved the outdoor set up including the pool. The room was available even though we arrived just before noon
Comfortable but rather dark room.
Bathroom in a terrible state!
No changing room for the pool, the water was cold.
The restaurant was rather average!
In short, disappointed, for a 4-star hotel.
Rooms are small and few things needed attention, such as shower head and shower screen. Would be nice to have tea n coffee facilities in the room. Good location as near metro and walking distance to the train station
Beautiful bar and nice terrace with a pool to freshen in warm weather (very welcome in the middle of August!). 15 minutes walk from the metro, 30 minutes from the city centre

The hotel is beautiful decorated, mosaics on all the floors, just walking to breakfast is a fascinating experience! Roberto the owner is right to be proud of his hotel and was courteous and helpful both before, via email, and whilst we were there
My wife and I just spent 4 days in Rome and stayed at the Celio. Roberto (the, or one of the Owners) speaks great English and could not have been nicer or more helpful with suggestions and help with transportation
The location is great, a 2 minute walk from the Colosseum (and only about an hour to The Vatican, we walked everywhere) with a number of excellent local and reasonable restaurants just a few meters away
We stayed in the Ambassador Suite which was spacious and very clean and well appointed in classic Italian decor. It is located on a quiet street within a very short walk to the Colosseum area
The room was perfectly fine for the four of us and there was no noticeable noise at night time, certainly not traffic as it's on a quiet side road
Perfect location, wonderfully decorated hotel. Our family is four have just spent 3 nights here and are very happy with our stay

I appreciate that the hotel worker with me to resolve an issue. They ended up upgrading us, and were very amenable to helping us. The location and service was great, would 100% return again.
Hotel is very clean, breakfast was great with lots of variety, they do have a rooftop bar where you can get great views of the city at night. Walkable to various shops and restaurants.
The room was spacious, and we especially loved the large balcony with a beautiful lemon tree - a delightful touch! We only wish we had more time to enjoy this lovely space
The private balcony is everything. We never went to the rooftop bar because we had our own private rooftop! Hotel is within walking distance of everything if you are a good walker
Hotel clean, easy on the eye, comfortable , good location, excellent breakfast, wonderful rooms, wonderful Christmas decor. Inviting
Will recommend it
The breakfast selections were more than we were expecting- great way to start the day. And finally, all of the staff has been super friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend staying at Ponte Sisto when in Rome!

but it was the middle of the night in Rome, and the hotel breakfast started at 7:30 AM. I was on my phone in bed until 4 AM. Feeling restless, I called the front desk to see if there was any way to get a cup of coffee
A woman inside angrily told me, "Stop pressing it!!!" I was bewildered and retorted just as angrily, "I didn't even touch it!!" The woman fell silent, and I waited for the other elevator to arrive and left first
I wasn't very hopeful, but the person on the other end said they could specially make one for me, which I was so grateful for 🥹. All the hotel staff were very friendly. The hotel's location is excellent
As long as you don't stay out too late, there's not much to worry about. Also, personally, I think the safety concerns about Rome are a bit exaggerated on Xiaohongshu (a Chinese social media platform)
Soundproofing is average, so light sleepers should take note. The mini-bar items are chargeable. So, you can buy water at a nearby supermarket. In summary, I would choose to stay here again next time
Amazing location to walk everywhere. Beautiful rooms and lovely terrace for breakfast. Good continental breakfast with a great view. Friendly staff serving coffee and machines also available

We had free minibar and snacks, not sure why (maybe as Platinum IHG members). Breakfast is nutritious and served in a shady courtyard
An older building, but the beds were super comfortable and the service was excellent. It's also very close to the attractions.
Facilities: The hotel is in a good location, it is very convenient to walk to the attractions, the space is not big, the hotel area here is generally small,
Sanitation: OK
Service: There is a night bed service
Environment: In a small alley, all old buildings
The room was beautiful, with windows styled like those in European films, which I really liked. The service was decent, the location was convenient, and there was even an evening ceremony
We had an early flight and spoke with the concierge who took care of everything. No stress or issues which is a wonderful way to start a holiday. Thank you for making this an amazing trip for my family
Great location near the Vatican, Piazza Navona and other attractions. Very quiet street with its own charms. Friendly staff, rooms are good size and very modern, luxurious and clean

Hotel Artemide is an absolute gem right in the heart of Rome! It’s perfectly situated on a beautiful main shopping street!!! just steps away from great stores, cafés, and restaurants ,making it super convenient to explore the city on foot
When they found out this trip was our honeymoon, they surprised us with a complimentary bottle of champagne and some delicious chocolates ❤️such a thoughtful and memorable touch!
Another highlight is the Artemis Spa on level -1 !!it’s absolutely to die for
The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating, helping us book outings and offering great tips for exploring the city. The location was perfect — close to everything but quiet enough to get a great night’s sleep
After reading so many glowing reviews about Hotel Artemide, I had high expectations — and it still managed to exceed every single one! From check-in to check-out, everything was top-notch
It’s excellently sited for all the major attractions, excellent food and chopping oppportunities close by. This hotel is truly beautiful. I’ve never been in such a clean sparkling hotel
The location is right on the main street, making it easy to find. It's safe even late at night, and public transportation is convenient. The staff was friendly, and I had a great stay.

Rome, Via Cola di Rienzo, 23, Prati (2 km from centre) 🧭 Map
The hotel is quite central and you can pretty much walk anywhere. There is a courtesy room that guests can use on arrival or prior to departure. Would definitely recommend it! ⭐️
The hotel is really nice, with a fantastic breakfast and an excellent location, very close to the Vatican. They provide disposable slippers, which were brought to my room promptly after I requested them, which was great
The front desk staff were also incredibly warm, polite, and proactive in helping and coordinating. I highly recommend the rooms at this hotel; it's definitely a top choice if you're visiting Rome
The room was spacious and the amenities were as described when we'd booked. No backup noise was encountered and overall a very good stay. Friendly staff and good modern design.
However, my room was a bit noisy because it faced an outdoor lounge area. It could get quite annoying if inconsiderate people were talking loudly there late into the night
There were no tissues, so it's a good idea to bring your own

The hotel's location is super convenient; you can walk to the Trevi Fountain, the Colosseum, and other major attractions, all within about a 10-15 minute stroll. The room was spacious, quite new, and spotlessly clean
A huge thank you! 🙏 We'd definitely stay here again if we have the chance
Given its outstanding quality, service, and prime location, I would wholeheartedly award this hotel 5 stars!
Very good hotel and location, staff was very nice and professional

Although the room and the hotel restaurant are small, they are very clean, and the facilities are sufficient (the shower is tiny, so tall or large guests should take note). I loved the floor-to-ceiling window/door
It's about 500-600 meters to the train station, easily walkable. Breakfast is on the top floor with nice views. Overall, it's clean and safe, with an old-fashioned style to the facilities
Friendly staff with good customer service experience. Hotel is walking distance to the coliseum and the train and bus station. Multiple eateries and restaurants around the hotel.
Close to the airport shuttle and train station, about a 5-minute walk. The facilities are a bit old but very well-maintained. The staff are professional.
Exceeded expectations! The location is fantastic, allowing you to walk all over Rome

The location is superb ! It’s just bright opposite the Rome Termini ! Overall I can say it’s worth the stay , don’t expect much . It’s clean , and the hotel room already refurbished before .
Extremely convenient location as it's just situated next to the central train station, clean room and nice breakfast
Just opposite of Termini station, very convenient location. Many restaurants and stores, supermarkets nearby. Great breakfast, many choices of pastries, yogurt, cereals etc and coffee and juices
The hotel's location is unbeatable, and the service is pretty good too. However, the room isn't actually small, but the design and layout make it feel very cramped
Plus, there's only one charging outlet in the entire room, and it's right above the headboard. The hotel breakfast is decent, with a variety of food and drinks
Staff are helpful & friendly with smile. The location is very good. The breakfast may add some Asian favourites such as fry rice or noodle.

Rome, Via Toscana, 1, 00187 Rim, Latsio, Italiya (in the centre) 🧭 Map
I attempted to contact this place several times after I booked the reservation, via both the company we booked through (*******), via their published phone number, and via their email address, to book an airport shuttle which is an option per the reservation details
The room was on the small side but clean. They provide water in the minifridge daily. The front desk was very friendly in person and happy to store our luggage safely, as we arrived a few hours prior to check-in
I taxied to the hotel (since I could not arrange any shuttle transport) fully unaware if the hotel even existed anymore. However, once we got there, the experience was much more positive
None of my phone calls, emails, or messages were ever returned (even after the trip), and the official website noted on their contact page is currently offline
This honestly had me worried the hotel was a scam, as I've never had a hotel before where they are completely unreachable before you arrive
The email address noted on our reservation details only kicks back mail delivery failures

Beautiful room and hotel. Air-conditioning worked great. Extremely helpful and friendly staff, we were very well taken care of by them. Rooftop has beautiful views.
Review of stay September 2025
Did not use gym.
The triple classic room was fine, with small balcony, but not spacious enough for 3 people. Breakfast was good and the staff very friendly and polite. Good location
Hello Madam and Sir!
Here is my review of the hotel regarding the points mentioned above. We had already booked the hotel, and they showed us amazing pictures of the rooms
However, upon arrival, it was nothing like what we found in the accommodation. The price is very high for what we received. I felt like I was in a port or a warehouse
Hotel was nice and enjoyable. The only thing was the breakfast. Nice breakfast area on the 7th floor, but food👎
Has a nice guy across the street that has everything
We suggest you take a card from the Hotel with you to show taxis for coming back as only one knew where it was. Had a great stay and Rome was wonderful

When in Rome, you are rarely hangout in your hotel, but I would make an exception! Hotel Villafranca is quaint, but achieves it's elegant vibe through it's serene decor of the sitting rooms and clean lines of the bar area
I've stayed at this hotel a few times. The location is good, and the breakfast is nice. However, in my opinion, the management quality has declined significantly
I really loved this hotel! Great location and such charming rooms! The front desk staff were wonderful (though the restaurant staff weren't very welcoming! They wouldn't let me take an apple to go - terrible!)
Absolutely loved this hotel. Highly recommend. It’s not central as such but we used a hop on hop off bus. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. Staff friendly and polite, while helpful.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Raphael. The location is perfect for exploring Rome's main sites with the Colosseum and Vatican being within walking distance. The room was large, clean and had plenty of storage

The toiletries in the bathroom were also wonderful! The staff at Marcella was always attentive to our needs & upon arrival, the gentleman working the reception desk recommended a casual restaurant right around the corner, where I enjoyed a delicious pasta dinner with exceptional service
The hotel's classic décor was a delight; everything in the room, from the vases and paintings on the walls to the vintage cabinets, was a pleasure! The classic decorative details blended perfectly with modern comfort, and every corner exuded a sense of history
Plenty restaurants/bars in the same street, a chemist and grocery shop over the road and around the corner 2minutes away. The hotel is very clean our room was a standard double and had a large very comfortable bed
I also use crutches I had no issues walking in the hotel or getting to it apart from cars parked everywhere on paths, zebras but it made it an experience I'll never forget
Very good hotel in an ideal location, roof top bar is lovely. We had a city view room it was a bit noisy with but we were in a big city, it didn't stop me sleeping

Not only are the rooms beautifully appointed, the food so delicious, a heavenly harp playing at brunch, the staff with impeccable, customer, service, and professionalism, everything about this hotel screams Luxury and comfort! I will definitely be back!
The room we stayed in was a deluxe room. The room size was 410, which was a little small, but everything else was satisfactory. We will stay here again next time, and hope that we will be upgraded to a more spacious room
The bar offered excellent service, and the Brunello restaurant is one of the best in the area. The chef presents gourmet cuisine dishes that are a feast for the palate and the eyes. We highly recommend this hotel
The treatment of the hotel staff, from the doorman, to the waiters, to the restaurant, to the bar, to the housekeeping personnel, was exceptional. The cleanliness and condition of the facilities are excellent
