We stayed three nights at a cozy family-run hotel by Lake Maggiore and had a wonderful stay. Though the hotel is a bit modest, it is clean and well-kept, which made our stay very comfortable. The service at the hotel was exceptional. The family who runs the place is incredibly hospitable, ensuring their guests have everything they need. The breakfast was a bit modest, but for us it was good enough. One of the best features of the hotel is the direct access to the lake. We loved the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the clear waters of Lake Maggiore right from the hotel – what a unique experience. Also the views from the balcony were wonderful. The location is convenient, within walking distance from Baveno (just be prepared for the traffic) . Stresa is a bit further away, 10 min taxi ride for approx. 15 €. Overall, this hotel offers a welcoming stay with excellent service and a fantastic lakeside experience.

We travelled with a bus group of 30 people. Our room was an attic room which was warm and stuffy. We only had a velux roof window with no view of the lake. Food was poor, as were in a group we did not know what we were having until it was placed infront of us. The outside view was great which us the only thing going for this hotel. I wouldn't stay here again.

Lovely hotel with magnificent views of the lake. The town is very close, just a kilometre away, but not a safe walk at night, but finding parking in town and at the hotel was not a problem (in October)

We had lunch at the Hotel Romagna for Easter. The food was very good. The staff was very friendly. Great view of the lake!

We only went to the restaurant (were staying in another location). Great staff (warm and welcoming), good food and a stunning view. Only improvement point was the deserts. Thanks for the great moment!
