The room was quite spacious for the two of us, and it came with a kettle and basic amenities.
Very nice rooms and breakfast area, and staff were all great. Overall great experience at the Hotel Atlantic Palace.
However that’s where the good parts of this hotel end. Sadly, there were construction works around the facade of the hotel and we could not open doors or windows in our room. The air con was turned off by management as it was too cold in florence. in spite asking for it to be turned back on - we were told that it was but it was not working; this was pretty sad as our room got incredibly warm in the night and claustrophobic as a result of the shut doors and windows. Worst part is the noise from the lift, which is relentless and throughout the day/night - i used earplugs all 3 nights. Would not recommend staying here if you are a light and early sleeper.
Nestled in the heart of Florence, its proximity to all the wonders allows you to explore with just your feet, losing yourself in a maze of alleys, each one as beautiful as the next.
The welcome was excellent, we never encountered any difficulties, from the beginning to the end of our stay.
The reception staff, as well as the Rooftop staff, were more than up to the task. Friendly and above all, cheerful! See you soon.
