The surrounding area is excellent, with a popular small restaurant, a laundromat, a bar, and a superb coffee shop for breakfast. It is a bit far from the main tourist attractions, but walking to them in the quiet morning sunshine is a really pleasant and worthwhile experience.
The rooms here are very spacious; I opted for a superior room, and the bathroom was also incredibly roomy, which is a rare find. The bedding was quite comfortable, and the hotel was very accommodating in meeting our customized requests. The room key card is especially beautiful!
We tried both the hotel's restaurant and bar – the food was delicious, and the drinks were great. You definitely shouldn't miss them!
Only thing is, the bathroom had a smell that ran through the room and wasn’t pleasant, maybe the local sewers have problems-doubt there is anything the hotel can do but maybe add an air freshener while the problem is occurring. It wasn’t awful but noticeable is all.
I can probably rave about this hotel stay for awhile. Already told my friends when I come back to Florence, it will be my go to hotel. I was sad leaving. Also, the view. Really, loved staying here.
