We stayed during the first week of October. It was amazing. We requested another bed since 3 of us were staying in 1 room, and they organised it. Simona was of lovely help to us - getting an airport taxi, room service, everything. Location was perfect too, we could walk to anything.

Only downside is that we got bed bug bites.

I paid $905 for the suite. The only good thing was the view of Piazza della Signoria and the Duomo — but most rooms don’t have this view, and it’s not worth the price.

The host was nearly impossible to contact. We waited over 30 minutes outside in 34°C heat at check-in with no help or apology.

Only 4 towels were given for 2 people over 3 nights. On day 3, staff didn’t replace them despite a sign saying they would. The next day they changed their story and denied it.

Staff (Simona) was rude and unprofessional.
I accidentally spilled a little water on the bedside table and a small amount of coffee on the bedsheet. The table and mattress were completely fine — only the sheet had a small mark (photo attached).
I report to Simona about it, and instead of helping, she started yelling at me and said I needed to pay. She used a translation app(her English is so bad) and kept raising her voice. She even blamed me for damages I didn’t do, like scratches that were already there (this building is over 900 years old!).
She kept me in the room for 25 minutes, talking to me in a very unpleasant way.
If a few drops of water are such a big deal, maybe the furniture should be in a museum, not in a guesthouse.
Also, every time I used a plate in the kitchen, Simona would watch me and say “Use the small plate, not the big one.” Many plates were still dirty with food bits on them.
I paid a lot of money, but I was treated very badly. Because of Simona, this stay ruined part of my trip.

The room itself was not clean — dirty bathtub, damp sheets, dusty floor, and unwashed dishes in the kitchen.

The elevator starts on the second floor, not the ground. You have to carry luggage up narrow stairs — not mentioned when booking.

The A/C was locked. We weren’t allowed to adjust it. When we finally reached the host, she told us to “just open the window,” even though it was July and very hot.

This was the worst stay of my 42-day Italy trip. I don’t recommend this place at all.

We had a stay at 5 of the biggest cities of Italy. Combined it was one of the best. 3 stars for some stuff that need improving, such as better quality of breakfast (now they are CONAD cheap breakfast ingredients), ability to control ac since you now can't, and soundproofing. Sound from the street that people talk about is to be expected since this is quite central.

Our stay at Soggiorno Antico Torre was absolutely wonderful! This charming B&B boasts an unbeatable central location, putting all of Florence's treasures right on your doorstep. We found it incredibly convenient to be just a 15-minute walk from the train station, making our arrival and departure a breeze. From the moment we inquired about our reservation, Pamela was a delight – incredibly helpful and pleasant to communicate with. However, the true shining star of our stay was Simona. She was an absolute joy, ensuring our room was impeccably clean and always well-stocked with everything we could possibly need. Her attention to detail and warm demeanour truly made our experience special. Our room itself was spotless and thoughtfully appointed, complete with a convenient fridge. The communal kitchen was another fantastic amenity, offering everything you could possibly need for breakfast, lunch, or even dinner if you chose to dine in. We highly recommend Soggiorno Antico Torre for anyone looking for a comfortable, centrally located, and welcoming stay in Florence.

Beds were comfortable but rooms were very hot as air con is constantly set on 23 degrees and can't be altered,when we said it was hot we were told to open windows but then got bit to death by midges. The breakfast is very basic but because of the location there are an abundance of eating establishments outside. No English is spoken and you need to arrive b4 midday to check in as the host leaves around then. Also due to staircase it's not suitable for anyone who may struggle with stairs.

+ administration of the hotel is very communicative and friendly. Breakfasts are good, rooms are clean. What is more important, the location of the hotel. You will live in the historical centre of the Florence. And each sights are in 2-15 minutes.

Super nice time, the location is right in the middle of the center so you can walk anywhere nice as soon as you step out the door. The bathroom was very nice and exceeded my expectations. The ladies working the desk were really nice to me and helped me book a taxi to the airport! The breakfast was nice to have and it was restocked every day by the staff.

The view from the Gold room is awesome. You over look the Piazza Della Signoria and and see the full dome of the Doumo. Everything is within walking distance from the room. The staff is friendly and helpful. Provides tour books and recommendations. A bit of a warning. You must carry luggage up the first flight of stairs before you can use the elevator, which is very small. But worth the trek up.

Everything was perfect. She taff are really friendly. The room was clean. The bathroom equipped with everything you need. The hotel is on the Piazza Della Signoria, so the location is more than perfect.
