Auto Park Hotel in Florence

I don’t want to say like this because staffs were nice, but let me say —— this hotel is horrible. Because of the poor key on the door and thin wall, I, as a solo female traveler , had to be super cautious and alert for everything. The key seemed broken so that I had to make a barricade by myself. Moreover, I got really scared for the whole night because some male guests were chatting loudly and sometimes randomly knocking other rooms’ doors just for fun in the hallway. Also, the wall was so thin that I could even hear someone sneezing. As a result, I could not sleep for two nights. This hotel is terrible and the worst choice.

Ps. Wi-fi did not work.

The air conditioner started leaking after we opened it, leaking the entire floor and it went on for the whole night. We had to sleep while listening to the water drip. When we told the reception about this problem, they brushed it off and told us to come down and get towels so the floor won't be soaked which is ridiculous. It shows how much effort they put in for guests.
Then for the breakfast,the staff asked us if we do speak English,then she starts to speak it with a strong Italian accent which is not understandable.
After figuring out that she wanted us to choose coffee or tea.we felt like they mock us behind our back. Which make us feel so uncomfortable.

Disappointing Stay – Not as Advertised
I am honestly surprised by the previous positive reviews for this hotel. Based on my experience and what I’ve seen on other major travel sites, the ratings are well below average, and I now understand why.
Room Quality Issues
The bedding was dirty, and the mattress was old and sagging, making it very uncomfortable to sleep. The wardrobe was present, but it was damaged—please see the attached photos for details.
Noise and Security
Soundproofing is practically non-existent. You can hear your neighbors with every movement, and conversations in the hallway are clearly audible. The door was not secure, and as shown in the photos, it was damaged, which made us feel unsafe.
Missing Amenities
For a hotel claiming to have 3 stars, the absence of a safe is unacceptable—especially since we paid the corresponding taxes for such a standard. The air conditioning did not work at all, which was very inconvenient.
Conclusion
Overall, this hotel does not live up to its rating or its supposed 3-star standard. I do not recommend staying here, at least not until significant improvements are made.
