Omoideno Jinde in Izu

We had a lovely 2-day winter stay here. A great, quiet place to relax. The rooms were nice, futon was comfortable, and it was very quiet at night for sleeping. The evening meal and breakfast was excellent. I loved the ambience of the place at night. There were 3 hot springs that you could use. Just check that nobody is using it, take the correct small wooden block, and sign your room number on the paper. When you return, return the wooden block and sign your number again. There was an open air hot spring and two view baths on the second floor - spectacular view of Fuji! The hotel is close to the Yagisawa bus stop but the place is a bit remote. We enjoy walking, however, and took the opportunity to take one of the nature trails in the area near the coast - breathtaking views of the coastline and ocean on the walk. All in all, a great stay, friendly staff, and we’d return.

The room is not big, Japanese style, but very clean. The best thing is the breakfast, dinner and banquet cuisine. Each dish is very delicate, attentive and delicious, exceeding expectations. The soup is a private soup, garden soup, very good 👍

This hotel is located in the countryside, and if you are looking for a quiet retreat, definitely consider here. We booked a room with an attached outdoor bath, which is great. However, we didn't realised that it only comes with outdoor shower and no indoor shower. We caught a cold from showering outdoor as the wind was quite chilly at night. (We went in Oct) The outdoor bath runs on tap so it isn't that hot compared to flowing Onsen water. Service was exceptional. You get to choose your Yukata and the lady owner even chose the Obi colour to match our Yukata for us. Dinner was fantastic with the Kinmedai Galore. We will definitely revisit again for their Kaiseki dinner but probably won't be booking the room with attached bath in the future.

This inn is located a short distance from Toi Onsen in Nishiizu. Unlike the exterior, the interior has a sense of unity with walls using red clay, and the rooms are small and nice. The selling point of this inn is the personality of the Toi Onsen staff for dinner. The food was freshly prepared and served hot, and it was very delicious. The staff felt the warmth of their personality. Also, it has become one of the inns I want to come to.

The best hospitality ryokan with some lovely private bathrooms. Local dishes including fresh fishes and natural Tengusa-grass based local jelly are so great and tasty.
They welcomed me with the warmest hospitality in natural way. I will definitely come back.

As far as I can see the image of the person who posted it a year ago, the dinner menu was exactly the same (whether it was a sign of self-confidence or a rut). But the food tastes good 👍🏼. Breakfast is also delicious. Especially the rice (rice) is delicious.

It's a pity that the prices of drinks are high (especially sake is on par with bars in Tokyo). It was good to have this brewed sake, but it wasn't on the menu. The pleasure of traveling is to drink local sake, or it is only expensive local sake (although there are good brands), and I am disappointed as a drinker.

The open-air bath ♨️ is also outside the washing area, so it's not very cold until you warm yourself up in the bathtub, but you can't wash your hair. It feels good in the summer, but you should do something about it.

The scenery outside the window is a field in front of me, and Mt. Fuji is wonderful over Suruga Bay. However, there are no shops around the inn, so it is necessary to prepare in advance.

A hidden gem. Seaview and mt fuji view on a clear day. Tasty food and good service.
