KKR Hotel Atami in Atami

Location was near train station & walking distance to the shopping districts n F&B places. Room was spacious n comes with an ocean view. Excellent breakfast variety n taste. Service staff was helpful, attentive n friendly. The hotel provides a shuttle to the train station upon checkout in the morning. Hotel has a playroom for toddlers n gaming machines for adults.

It's an 8-minute walk from Atami Station;

However, the slope is a bit steep. There's a bus stop next to Atami Station where you can take a bus.

After checkout, there's a bus to Atami Station, running twice a day.

The room was a Japanese-style room, and the cleanliness and maintenance were excellent.

You can see the sea from the room—nothing to complain about!

The rooftop open-air and indoor onsen (hot spring) areas were very comfortable, and there's also a sauna.

The price was reasonable, and I would definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Atami!

Overall, the only downside is that the road to the hotel is a bit difficult to navigate, so you need to be careful. Otherwise, I was very satisfied.

The staff were very friendly. The rooms were well-cleaned. The Japanese dinner was delicious. The large public bath was also clean.

The views from the room and bath were wonderful!
The hot spring was lukewarm, probably because it was summer, so we were able to relax in it, and my mother said she was happy that the bath floor was non-slip and she could bathe safely. The food was also delicious.
The facility itself is not new, but it seems that some of the guest rooms and restaurant have been renovated, and the staff were very friendly.
I think this hotel is operating with a lot of ingenuity. I would definitely like to stay here again on the day of the fireworks display.

Facilities: The facilities are complete. The toiletries for the hot spring bath are from very good brands; the shampoo I used made my hair particularly voluminous and smooth. These can all be purchased in the hotel's shop.

Cleanliness: The rooms are clean and tidy, with no unpleasant odors, and the air conditioning system works perfectly.

Environment: The hotel is 700 meters from Atami Station, a 10-minute walk. Next to the station is the Atami Commercial Pedestrian Street, with a wide variety of snacks, local specialties, and restaurants – a whole street to eat your way through!

Service: The hotel provides a shuttle bus to the station, a very convenient 5-minute ride. Breakfast is also very plentiful.

The hotel's hot spring is very comfortable, with both indoor and outdoor pools. It's not crowded, so people can use the large public bath area more easily.

The hotel's sea-view rooms have balconies with direct ocean views – absolutely stunning!

The location is excellent, about a 10-minute walk to Atami tram station. The hotel faces the sea directly and is right next to the "University Hospital" bus stop.

The hotel offers a complete view of the seawall extending from Sun Beach, and you can watch the Atami Fireworks Festival from your room's balcony (though there may be some obstruction). On the night of the fireworks festival, the hotel arranges for guests to watch from the building's rooftop; there are announcements, staff guidance, and live commentary, creating a wonderful atmosphere. The hotel has a rooftop hot spring bath for guests to use, and the hotel provides beautiful yukata (light cotton robes). There are two shuttle buses to Atami station every morning. The hotel staff are friendly and polite, and the breakfast is plentiful and delicious. A very nice resort hotel. The hotel provides a microwave, ice maker, and convenient vending machines selling water, alcohol, and instant noodles. The only thing I'm not used to is that the hotel doesn't provide complimentary bottled water, since most hotels nowadays provide two bottles of water.

Only 9 minutes from Atami Station, no stairs all the way down the slope, check out there is a shuttle bus up the mountain. Guests staying can choose their preferred yukata style. Breakfast is a buffet form, dinner is more old-fashioned Japanese food package, the taste is quite satisfactory. The hotel has more Japanese guests than foreign guests, who may only have 3 or 4 groups. The rooms are spacious and offer tatami-laying services, the sea view is excellent. The day of the fireworks festival will also open the rooftop for guests to watch, the rooftop is completely unobstructed very clear!

It was a quaint, cozy hotel situated close to JR Atami Station. The hotel has very good food for both dinner and breakfast! The staff are friendly and even though they can't speak good English, they tried their best to communicate to the best of their knowledge and I really appreciate it! I especially enjoyed my time at the onsen on the rooftop, it has good facilities.
The only thing is the cleanliness of the room, since there is still water in the kettle from the previous guests, I didn't want to drink any water from the kettle because of it. They should replace it with a new kettle or clean it. Otherwise, the room is also very cozy, they give yukatas for guests to wear them around the hotel and they also offer free transport to JR Atami station. Otherwise, I would have struggled to get around since there is lack of public transportation at Atami!
I still have a very good time and enjoyed my time because of the friendly staff at the hotel, they are very helpful! 10/10 will come back again with my friends or family in the future.
