Hokkaido, Obihiro, 20-3, W2-S10 🧭 Map
Perfect place to stay while discovering Obihiro. The bed space is just fit for a height around 1.78cm. It‘s a little short but you can fit in. A kettle in the room would be great though.
Sparkling clean although understand a reason for that is that you can’t cook here or even use their cutlery. They just supply some cups (though there is a kitchen sink on the top floor by the fridge).
This place doesn’t really have a lounge. A problem with sharing the ground floor lounge with a cafe is that when I’m sitting there a cafe waitress comes by expecting me to order something.
I used a five-day pass for my trip to Shiretoko Five Lakes, Abashiri, and Kushiro-Obihiro in Hokkaido. Obihiro is just over a two-hour drive from Sapporo, offering easy access to Kushiro Marsh and convenient transportation to Sapporo and Noboribetsu. The convenience of a single-person stay was the key reason I chose Obihiro. One minor complaint was the mixed-gender bunk beds on the first floor, and...
Great value for money... 👍🏻 The bathrooms are super clean and well-maintained, and the staff are incredibly friendly! There's also a cafe/pub on the first floor, and bike rentals are available. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Obihiro!
The staff were very kind and helpful. The room was clean and in good condition.
The location is great because it's in front of the station. There's a convenience store right in front and many delicious restaurants nearby, so it was great.
The facilities were all right, and the bathrooms were clean and nice.

Old furniture inside but a clean room. In smoking room there was an arrong smell of old cigarettes. Good breakfast, comfortable location. There are all u need in the room but don't choose a smoking room
I would like to especially thank one of the front desk ladies for her kindness.
One Dec 19, at around 3:20 a.m., my mum had severe foot pain and needed an ambulance. She patiently helped us make the emergency call to hospital in Japanese, turned on the heating in the lobby while we waited, and calmly reassured us.
As a foreigner, I truly appreciated her patience and care. She is a very kind and wonderful...
The front desk staff were very friendly and greeted us with a smile. Amenities were placed behind the front desk, and guests were free to take whatever they needed, which I personally thought was a great system.
There are also convenience stores, izakayas, and restaurants near the hotel, so it's perfect.
The room was also well-cleaned, making for a comfortable stay.
Recommended, it is very convenient to have your own parking lot, it is worth recommending
It takes about 10 minutes on foot from Tomakomai Station, but
the room environment is cozy, the breakfast is good,
and it's fun to walk around the alleys on the way to and from the station, so I recommend it.
The room is big enough to open a suitcase. The entrance is at the parking lot and you need to take the elevator to the second floor. The parking lot was full and there was a special parking lot (there was a map at the entrance). We didn't see it until later. We ended up parking in the paid parking lot next to it. We didn't buy breakfast, so we don't know how it was.

Check-in / out Terminal operation is easy
It's beautiful
It's cold even if you devise air conditioning
I stayed in a room with two bunk beds. Each bed had a TV, and the children were delighted with the structure like a private room. I think it is good for families who can stay without meals. The location of the automatic checkout machine is next to the bread shop on the first floor. I bought the salt bread from this bakery and it was very delicious.
I visited you during Golden Week.
I made a reservation online and stayed there.
There is no parking lot dedicated to the hotel, and you need to park at the coin parking lot, which is about a 10-minute walk away.
It was raining lightly, so it was difficult to roll the caster case to the hotel.
The room is the same size as a normal business hotel (neither good nor bad)
There is no bathtub, the shower...
Beautiful and fashionable accommodation. Check-in / out is an unmanned method using a dedicated terminal. There is a bakery on the first floor.
The difficulty is that the layout is different depending on the room and it is difficult to use because the wall is thin or you may hear the sound next to it.
Cheap and beautiful, the best! !!
I stayed with 4 family members this time, but I got a bet! !! ??
An irregular capsule hotel with bunk beds that are private rooms other than the entrance? Children are delighted with such a rare type!
Moreover, each bet comes with a TV. I thought it was amazing. However, there is no TV that everyone can watch, so we can't do it while watching TV together in the living...

They are friendly and helpful people. We had a tatami room, the place is uniquely beautiful, gave us the olden Japanese vibe.
It's not on a main road so you have to be careful about which way to go, but it's close to the station, restaurants, and markets.
The building is old and not suitable for young women, but I felt it had a nostalgic feel to it.
They offer breakfast service, which I used, and felt was good value considering the price of the room.
The environment wasn't great in terms of pure ambiance, as it's a rather old hotel. However, the price was incredibly cheap, and the owner was very warm and welcoming, as evidenced by the hand-drawn map of the station area. Plus, although the owner is older, his English is quite good, so communication wasn't a problem. Overall, I quite enjoyed my stay.
Nice location (station is literally just one turn away), good traditional room with futon and yukata. Tea is provided and cute set of cups.
Friendly and helpful staff!
However, be careful - elevator is hidden and at first I was not pleasantly surprised to bring my luggage to the second floor. Elevator is hidden in the garage.
All in all hotel is a bit old, but still nice for staying.
If you want to experience sleeping on tatami mats and futons, this is the hotel for you. Super clean, super friendly staff, and a delicious breakfast. We'd stay there again! Although be warned: the pillows are firm, traditional pillows.
CP value is very high although it is an old hotel

Was here for the day use onsen.
Great quality of water for experienced Japan traditional onsen explorers. It’s an old hotel so facility is a bit outdated. One big tub max 6 people at once. Small changing area.
Onsen plus towels rental were ¥550+¥100.
Overall my room was clean. In terms of presentation, it is more on the old, worn-out side like it could use a new coat of paint & wallpaper. The hallways, my room, & bedding had a particular smell. I asked for a room with no/minimal cigarette smell, which I think they did, so I think the smell is just from how old the building is. It's not a bad smell, just off-putting like I wonder how often they...
It was a wonderful hot spring. I stayed for two nights but wish I could have stayed a little longer.
The hotel facilities are too old and there is no elevator. You have to change into slippers when you enter the gate. It feels like you have entered a bathhouse. The room looks like a domestic hotel in the 1990s.
It is a little far from Hakodate city, but very close to the airport. The facilities may be a little lacking compared to the surrounding ryokans, but the breakfast and dinner more than make up for it. The staff are friendly, and there is a female staff member who speaks Korean well, so there is no inconvenience at all.
The hotel has a natural hot spring and the food is pretty good, but the room facilities are too old. There is no air conditioning, only an old-fashioned air cooler, and the tatami is equipped with a thick quilt. The staying experience is unsatisfactory.

The staff is nice and friendly, helpful.
Appreciated.
washer and dryer available.
That said.
cons :
wifi is really weak
luggage storage mentioned on listing but only allowed 12 noon. with at least 10 mins walk to station and storage lockers, i believe it should be revised on stated on booking
The owner is very nice and only speaks Japanese. There is a coin-operated washing machine. The room is very clean and square. The traditional Japanese-style room is much larger than the one in other cities. However, it is a walking distance from JR and it is the opposite distance from Mt. Hakodate. It is a bit far to the scenic spot. Overall, I am very satisfied.

Hokkaido, Sapporo, 4 Chome-4-26 Kotoni 2 Jo, Nishi Ward 🧭 Map
The hotel has a great environment, though the location is a bit out of the way. However, the price is reasonable.
Highly recommend! I will definitely stay again.
Close to train station which only a few stops to Sapporo city centre. No parking provided but it only cost 770 per night in nearby coin parking.
The room is clean and tidy with washing machine and sitting room. Kitchen and cooking ware is provided which is a big bonus.
Service, Facilities and Cleanliness is good, only the location little so far from stasion.
Staying at the Kotoni Resort Villa Annex in Sapporo was quite convenient. It's about a 10-minute walk from the JR Kotoni station. Across the street, there's an Aeon mall and a 24-hour supermarket, making shopping and dining a breeze. The room was spacious and airy, with a full kitchen and laundry facilities, perfect for families or groups traveling together. The self check-in and multi-language assistance...
The hotel is conveniently located near Kotoni Station, which was a big plus 👍. Self-check-in was simple and straightforward 👍, and check-out was even easier! 👍 The bed was spacious, but not very comfortable. The amenities were adequate; we could cook and do laundry, but unfortunately, there was no dryer.
A spacious apartment for a family of 4 with self check in service. Requested for extra laundry detergent through email and got a quick reply. Free parking is not available. Think snow in front of the main entrance as no one available to clear the snow. Overall happy with the stay. Recommended.

The accommodation now has Wifi 👍🏻
While the facilities are indeed quite old, it's a standard, ordinary old-style business hotel. The cleanliness is acceptable, and its location at the end of Tanukikoji Street is convenient. During the Snow Festival, it wasn't particularly expensive. There's a coffee machine and vending machines on the second floor.
The room wasn't big, but it had everything I needed. I was traveling alone, and the hotel was conveniently located right next to Tanukikoji Shopping Street, which is a great shopping area. The receptionists were also very helpful! Overall, I recommend it!
I had a great time. Thank you very much!
Located at the very end of Tanukikoji. Great value for money, highly recommended for solo travelers. The front desk is also friendly.
The location is good, but it's a bit pricey, and the rooms aren't very big.

I was a bit concerned about the outside noise, but it was sufficient.
We enjoyed staying here! The room was spacious and clean. The staff were also very accommodating even if there’s a language barrier. We also enjoyed their onsen as first timers, it was really relaxing and nice to experience to be able to immerse in one of the Japanese cultures. Will definitely book here again if we were to come back.
This is the fourth review for this hotel. After staying for four consecutive days, I didn’t expect to be able to review it four times. Each time it was a full five-star review. The environment is relatively quiet and the price is affordable.
The distance is ambiguous for walking.
Check-in, check-out, and various services were good.
The hotel has a high ceiling, but the concrete is exposed.
The cleanliness was good.
The photo is a simple bread provided for free in the morning.
Coffee and cocoa are FREE.
It's very close to the mains and Goryokaku is right next to it.
Coffee is provided
Biggest hotel room I've had in Japan so far, with 20' ceilings. Concrete floor probably didn't help with the sea lion rookery snoring next door to me. Not much the hotel can do about that. The A/C fan is too quiet to help drown out such noise. Bring music in case you run into the same thing.

The dorm room was clean and comfortable, and the other guests staying that night were very quiet. However, the door to the dorm room was a bit loud when opening and closing.
I stayed in a dormitory for several nights. It was very convenient, with Don Quijote and Saizeriya within walking distance.
Great hotel for the price! The room was clean, cozy, and nicely designed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Big plus — there’s parking available, which is very convenient if you’re traveling by car. A comfortable place to stay without spending too much.
It's a little far from the main station, and the last bus was early, which was a shame, but it's a good location if you have a car. The room was clean, but there was a little hair left in the bathroom, which was disappointing. Also, there is a fee for in-house clothing, which may be good for long-term stays, but I think it's necessary for tourists with little luggage. Check-in was late at night, which...
The location was great, right in front of Don Quijote. However, it was a mixed dormitory, and the bathrooms were too small. The dryer didn't dry very well.
The dormitory room is coed. I didn't expect men would be staying in the other rooms as well. there's only curtain to prevent others from seeing you sleep. It's a little disappointing since this information wasn't out before booking.

Ideal for backpackers. Netwalk is the cheapest option.
Traditional Japanese rural architecture.
Distance from the station: about 1 kilometer.
Washing machine, dryer, bathroom essentials.
Hairdryer, water dispenser, refrigerator—all available.
One's own private room. Sharing two toilets.
Drawback: Only one bathroom.

The location is very good. Hotel is a bit old but clean. No food service, which is a bit disappoint. In general is Ok.
Nice location if you drive to there. Old japanese style room. Convenience store is just near the building.
The location was good for sightseeing.
However, the facilities were old and the cleaning was poor.
About 20 minutes walk from the station. It's fine except for the smell of cigarettes in the bathroom. There is a large bath, but I was too tired to go. It's a cheap and good place to stay near Hakodate Station.
I had cold tanuki soba. It was a very good 28 soba. There is also a daily lunch, and I think it's a little-known spot. However, the inside of the store is too dark and it is difficult to find the menu (laughs)
cheap!
Bedrock bath is the best! !
Yonaki soba is also great!
It's super hot with a coupon that can be used at the Seicomart next door! !
Because it is far from the city center, it is essential to use the streetcar, but it was a wonderful little-known hotel.

I especially loved that the room had an oil heater! I'm sensitive to air conditioning drafts, so that was a huge relief. Even without the AC on, it stayed warm and cozy, even when it was below freezing outside. Although the building is old, the facilities and plumbing were new and clean, which made my stay very satisfying!
Super comfortable stay for 4 nights, Japanese style room is not big, but enough for my 4 adults. The breakfast was delicious and absolutely great value for a wonderful start to every day of my trip. Plus there is a hot spring pool, cool🛀. The counter staff was polite, to thank them for helping me book the mountain stream return express bus. 🙇
The location is convenient, very close to Tanukikoji Shopping Street. The only drawback is that the double bed is a bit small and the room is not soundproof. Everything else is good.
