Hokkaido, Asahikawa, Sanjyo-dori 4-450 🧭 Map
The convenience store is close by, and Asahikawa's downtown area (3.6km) is also just a 5-minute walk away. I use this place frequently for both business and leisure.
The bedrooms were more than comfortable, the breakfast was excellent, there was a photo opportunity at the entrance, and all amenities were provided.
The room is very big and original retro style. Well maintained
The noise of the exhaust fan running all night was very uncomfortable, and the location was a bit far away. But parking was free, so that was nice.
Location is good but room needs renovation and refurnishing, some part of the room have aged badly.
Kinda vintage hotel with good location, love the theme that feel like European theme

I always stay at this hotel when I come to Abashiri.
It's helpful that there is a convenience store right next door.
The hotel is old, but it's still relatively clean and tidy.
Recently, I stayed at the Abashiri Royal Hotel for one night during my trip to Eastern Hokkaido. When choosing a hotel in Abashiri City, I placed importance on access from the station and the abundance of hot spring facilities, so I decided to make a reservation at the Royal Hotel, which met my criteria perfectly. As a result, I was very satisfied with the location from the station and the hot spring...
I stayed alone.
It felt like a normal business hotel. I was glad that there was a smoking room available, even though there aren't many of them anymore.
I'd like to stay here again when I come to Abashiri.
There are convenience stores, drug stores, and izakayas nearby, which are very convenient for food and daily necessities. It is also very close to the drift ice boat terminal. The service staff is very polite, and the dinner and breakfast are rich and delicious. I personally give it the highest rating

Hokkaido, Sapporo, kita 10 Nishi 4-1-22, Kita Ward 🧭 Map
The staff provided quite good service.
The location is close to Hokkaido University, a bit out of the way. You can walk to Sapporo Station, but there's no underground shopping street nearby. One male staff member, after realizing we didn't speak Japanese, became very rude and inexplicably lost his temper with us. The room was also very small and had no heating.
This place is near Kita-Juni-Jo Station. It's a bit of a walk from Hakodate Station, but if the weather's bad, you can just take the subway. The staff are very polite and friendly. For the price, getting breakfast included is an amazing deal! They don't clean the room every day, but they do empty the trash and change towels (just leave them by the door). I actually prefer this kind of service. All...
Convenient location and walking distance to Sapporo JR station. Staff spoke limited english but were genuinely sweet and friendly. Will book again.
It was very comfortable, the room was warm, the staff was friendly, and the breakfast was delicious too:)
Aside from one unfriendly receptionist, the stay was quite comfortable.
The young male staff at the front desk were very friendly, and the female staff at the restaurant were also very welcoming.
The eggs at breakfast were delicious! The location is a bit remote and inconvenient.

❄️Absolutely loved staying here, it made my winter visit perfect!❄️
The layout of the room was spacious, cosy and quiet. Bed was big and plenty of pillows.
The pool was MUCH larger than expected, I had so much fun having a late night swim and chuhai.
The jacuzzi was huge, perfect way to melt my body with -7 weather outside. The bubble bath provided smelt wonderful!
Location was great! Right next to...
I booked on booking and stayed at 703 on the anniversary. The price is about 34,000 for two people. The room is very large. The windows are very large and the scenery looks beautiful throughout the sea. The view of the sea from the bath was also superb. There was a bedrock bath, two big TVs, cosplay, a stupid bed, and two bottles of Otaru wine as a service, so it was a very satisfying stay. I didn...
The scenery is beautiful and the cleanliness is nice
We stayed here for several days when visiting Sapporo and otaru. The staff was great and the room service is well priced and yummy. The tub had lights and jets and a little TV. The karaoke was a nice touch and the room was always super clean. We loved that it was right next to the ocean. The hotel has adult toys available for purchase but you get a freebie massager to borrow in the room. Our only complaint...

Best location, front office 24h, the room is clean
Although it was on the second floor and the decor was a bit old, it was very clean and had a meticulously maintained feel. Due to the snowstorm and JR service disruptions, I had to stay overnight. Initially, I didn't know how to navigate the underground passage and made a mess of the floor. Finally, a university student kindly helped me find my way and carry my luggage. I was so grateful! It's close to Sapporo Station and a convenience store. The staff are polite and will greet you when you return home and the elevator closes.
It's a short walk from Sendai Station and in the heart of the tourist area. The hotel is a bit old, but the bathroom smells. The elevator is on the second floor, so you have to climb the stairs to carry heavy luggage. The staff are friendly and helpful. Staff is very polite and patient for check-in service, Room is clean , but the pillow is uncomfortable while sleeping while night. Location of hotel is nearby fish market and a famous hamburger restaurant just located below hotel. Very convenient while having dinner. Also traffic is convenient , JR and streetcar station is nearby hotel, within 400m
Manager was So kind and well-communicated with clients. Clean and good.
The room is clean, the service attitude is good, the location is convenient, but the facilities are a bit old.
It’s hard to describe this hotel in just one word. Apart from its location, it doesn’t deserve to be called a ‘hotel’!
We were taken aback by the small size of the room.
We liked it because it was near the station, and the family room had space for our family of five.

Hokkaido, Chitose, 3-14-1 Shimizu-cho 🧭 Map
Is a good place near station Chitose.
Not very expensive.
Stayed for a night. Clean and spacious with bathroom. The heat was quite hot though, and there wasn't any way to control the temperature. Staff were very pleasant and spoke a little English. Fridge and microwave included in our room. We needed parking but there wasn't any available; however there was a public parking lot nearby that was quite cheap.
Free Japanese breakfast was filling and delicious
4 out of 5
Beds are comfy, breakfast simple but packed, toilets average, and staff average japanese.
It's a good stay for a few days.
5 stars for the stay.
But the damn location. Too far away from the station. It's not real far but not close enough for me.
-1 for that.
It is in a good location to go by car. The building is not new but it is clean. The staff is kind. Breakfast is pretty good. Parking lot is not big, but there is no need to worry because there is coin parking around.
Basic hotel and really love this place for its privacy. As usual, the staffs were at their best. Just that not really easy to find food nearby. Especially for dinner.

It's rare to find a place attached to a roadside station, so I stayed here to be close to the golf course, but... Hmm... Would I stay here again? No. The roadside station is small, too. The building is pleasant, made of wood, but the rooms have a rather unfriendly feel to them. Apparently the building originally belonged to the local government, but is now privately run. There was no information about...
Excellent Japanese style dinner and bento breakfast.
Able to accommodate three in a room which makes it much more economical.
Good sized rooms and modern interior.
The hotel is attached to the roadside station, and although it is simple, the rooms are clean and spacious.
Accommodation seems to include breakfast, and breakfast is served as a set meal at the restaurant at the roadside station, but the volume and taste are quite satisfactory.
The shop is also a roadside station store, and there are inconveniences for tourists such as not being able to buy souvenirs...
I used it for a night in the car the other day, it's a new facility, so it's very beautiful, but I couldn't sleep well because there was a car with a sword in May and a large truck with the engine running, so I want to protect the manners.
A beautiful hotel attached to the roadside station
The rooms are very clean on the roadside station and on the 2nd floor of the restaurant

I especially loved this guesthouse. It's a homestay run by a Chinese couple. It's very cozy, comfortable, and stylish, with excellent facilities. The pastoral scenery outside the window is beautiful. I will definitely come back next time.
During my summer vacation in Hokkaido, I planned to stay in Biei's Furano for one night and two days to fully enjoy the blossoms. Seeing Hanafuji Ryokan's impressive 4.7 rating on Ctrip, I chose it without hesitation. Even though it wasn't available for cancellation, I paid immediately. This is a hotel run by a very kind couple. The rooms are large, clean and comfortable. Breakfast is homemade bread and pudding, using local bread and milk, very fragrant and delicious! Before we left, they also recommended us the itinerary for Sapporo and Otaru, and reminded us to pay attention to the snow. Thanks to links for recommending such a good treasure hotel~

Hokkaido, Muroran, 1 Chome-1-4 Chuocho 🧭 Map
The place is very old and has chilly atmosphere. I couldn’t stay even if I have already paid, because of the environment. I feel like the building is *******. I’m sure that the building is not built for the hotel. Will never come again.
The location is not good and it is by no means the cleanest hotel, but it is very reasonable and the staff are friendly.
Also, breakfast is free and dinner, although there is an extra charge, was of high quality, which was great!
I stayed here for business, but I will continue to use it in the future.
I went there in February, and it seemed a bit cold without air conditioning. Like the Showa Hotel. The service attitude was very good. They arrived in the middle of the night and were worried that we would be hungry, so they prepared some bread for us, which was very thoughtful.
Double room with window, large and clean
It is about four minutes' walk from Muroran Station. The room is old and the carpet has a musty smell. However, the Japanese breakfast is cooked by the proprietress herself. If you are just taking a break, you can consider staying here.
Very satisfied. The house is indeed old but not unclean. The aunt helped us book a taxi to Cape Earth and made breakfast for us. It felt very much like home.

It's within walking distance of Wakkanai Station, the northernmost railway station in Japan, making it very accessible.
There was always staff at the check-in counter, so I arrived in Wakkanai in the morning, stored my luggage, and was able to explore the city without any hassle. When I returned in the evening and checked in, they even helped me store my luggage in the room.

i really like their tatami japanese room, it's more than what I expected, it's my first time to sleep at futon like that so I don't know normally it's a but harder than normal bed or not, the view from windows room is mountain, magnificent, the staff so polite, there's a microwave at hallway, but no plate, for water at bathroom I don't know why it's not clear (little cloudy), but overall I really satisfied...
Although I only stayed overnight, the hotel staff were very helpful. The room was average, but clean and I was satisfied with the price. There are delicious restaurants nearby, and the port is close by. I would definitely stay here again when I visit Wakkanai.
Good location only thing was it was not vacuumed. So many hairs everywhere in the room and bathroom.
The front desk is full of handsome uncles, very enthusiastic. The Japanese-style room has a little bit of smoke, but it is acceptable. The smell will disappear after the air purifier is turned on for a while. The space is large and the view outside the window is also great.
Small bed(small than Queen Size) mattress not firm. Besides, only 1 side table.
Was a smoking room, didn’t read the fine prints and also didn’t expect smoking room still exist.
Couldn’t bear to stay in the room.
Price not cheap for a 2-star.
The laundry room is clean and staffs are polite.

Super Value for Money
Excellent experience
Other than the shared toilets and showers, it was just like a regular hotel, and I had no problems. The facilities, including the common areas, were spotless and I had a comfortable stay. There were several restaurants nearby, so I had no trouble finding dinner. Breakfast is only served during the winter, and only bread and free drinks are available from the vending machine.
Very clean and tidy. I wasn't thrilled with the shared bathrooms prior, but it was fine. Only 5 rooms share them. Bed was of the soft foam variety, the only genuine letdown. Seriously uncomfortable. Other than that, it was fine.
The host was so kind and generous. We had arrived 1 day before our scheduled booking, by my mistake. The host offered to let us wait in the lobby for a taxi, and when he found that we could not get one as it was late at night, he offered to drive us to the nearest 7-eleven, in his personal vehicle, after hours. We were so grateful, and would highly recommend this hotel. We had a great experience. No...

The location was great, and it was larger and more comfortable than I expected.
On the downside, the shower room was a little small, about the size of a telephone booth, but I'd definitely stay here again.
Very handy facility and practical location.
The facility is very well equipped. They have everything we needed. A bit far from the center but very near to the station.
But as it’s located alongside of the railway, it’s quite noisy and you can’t open windows as people pass by in a meter away.
A bit complicated to check in and out, that was not the best thing about this place.
Nice place, with free parking onsite. It's under the JR line, but we are barely heard the noise from the trains. Our family very much enjoyed the entertainment area.
Not a bad stay for a family of 4 with vehicle. Guess the property aged, some item was spoil, like kettle, bed divider etc. during checkin, abit dusty, but overall still not bad.
Cute & Cosy
My family & I had a wonderful time staying at the mobile cabin. It was like a tiny home with all the amenities that we needed. It was quiet & peaceful although it was situated next to the train track. There was a fantastic Italian restaurant & takeout fried chicken shop nearby. We will be back!

Due to its size, it has air conditioning even in the summer, and I visit it every year as a group. There are many unique items inside the building, which is great for anime and special effects fans. There is a public bath nearby that is open until late, so it is convenient for groups. Since I visit every year, I always receive special service and am grateful for the thoughtfulness.
As the first stop in Japan, it is generally OK, like a family hotel, very close to the subway station, with a strong sense of age, but also a feature, tatami. I found that the Japanese service is generally very clean and exquisite. The kerosene heater in the room is very strong. Please remind everyone not to move around, and the plug cannot be unplugged.
The landlord is very welcoming and close to the subway station. But the facilities are very old
I often use this place, and the information and photos are quite old, so I wrote a review. It's close enough to the center that I get the impression that many people stay for multiple nights, as do I. In the summer, it's often booked exclusively for groups, and the inn is unique, with the owner's tastes reflected everywhere. I think the culmination of this is the Gundam Bar (Colony) on the first floor...
