Hokkaido, Sapporo, 3 Chome-4-1 Minami 4 Jonishi, Chuo Ward 🧭 Map
The location for the stay was perfect, very convenient. Breakfast included as the photo attached below for the stay and it was really yummy. Very worth for money to stay in Sapporo.
The hotel has a very nice view and is located right in the middle of Sapporo city Center. The breakfast provided is good too!
Fantastic location. Rooms size is good. Lockers available. Parking also at the hotel. Overall everything is good. Check in is at 3pm. Paid laundry also avaliable
Check in process need to improve. To be smooth and fast. Everything just perfect
Storing luggage was incredibly convenient. I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel; it upheld the excellent service I've come to expect from Toyoko Inn. The rooms are simple and clean, and the location is fantastic, with everything you need nearby.
The hotel's location is excellent, and it's very clean and hygienic. The staff were also very polite. We were able to store our luggage for a few days while we visited other places, which was very accommodating and thoughtful.

You can get a good deal. However the carpet in the room was really dirty. The stains were visible. I think management should clean the carpets.
A compact room with pretty much all you need except the space.. we "semi queen size" bedroom.. bed is about 3/4 size of a standard queen size bed.. we like the location which is just beside a underpass entrance leading to most of the main train line stations .. less than 10 minutes walk from Sapporo station..
Rooms are clean and modern. Location is pretty good as it is close to some tourist sites and is decently close to the subway stop as well.
Clean and good. Ideally located within walking distance to subway station and to major tourist area as well as eateries.
Very clean and nicely located between Sapporo station and Odori park. Staffs were nice and the room provides everything you’d expect there to be. For the price, I think this hotel is excellent. Would stay here again the next time I visit Sapporo. One downside is that they don’t store any luggages after you check out.
Location is great. Everything is close within walking distance. The room was clean and had everything we needed. Two things I personally didn't feel comfortable were we had to ask for a change of the room. My reservation was for a non-smoking room but the first room we got had strong cigarette smell. The second thing was the room was a bit too tiny for two people. According to a staff I asked for the...

It was luxurious and I was very satisfied.
The large public bath was also clean and comfortable.
I would definitely like to use it again if I have the opportunity.
The food was a little too strong for our liking, but the content and quantity were just right.
The Tamura Masaka show was really good. I was really impressed.
Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and the hot springs ♨️ were also great!
The hotel is large but the facilities are old. The only bright spot is the lake view outside the window.
The front desk staff was very serious and had a great attitude! When I left the hotel, the staff waved goodbye at the door, which was very touching!
The hotel is old and next to the railway track. The lights in the room are dim and every switch is old. It costs nearly $3000 RMB a night. I think the cost performance is too low!

This was the last lodging on my Hokkaido trip.
I chose a 10-tatami room. It was very spacious and clean, and even with two futons laid out, there was still plenty of room around, making it easy to pack and relax.
The hot spring on the top floor was also spacious, with hot, normal, and lukewarm water options available in the inner bath, and just one normal-temperature bath in the open-air bath.
The...
I really enjoyed this hot spring hotel. On Mondays, it was so crowded that the entire place was practically reserved. It's said that the former shogunate soldier, Hijikata, bathed there. The water is a saline spring. The dinner was rich and delicious, especially the stew. It was perfect for enjoying a leisurely meal while looking out at the sea.
h is very quiet and clean. This time I stayed in a tatami room. The view outside is also good. You can see the sea. There is a hot spring on one side, which should have some therapeutic effect. From inside, you can see the scenery of the surrounding city, so it is not so isolated.
It has a nice onsen, loved it. Entrance is big and it has own big parking area front of the hotel which was very comfortable.
Polite staff who personally show you the room when we checked in. Breakfast and dinner were both great too. Not a fan of Crab (kani) but they have that as an all you can eat item. Love the squid and seaweed miso soup though. Also great view from the room and also fantastic onsen. However, I gave a 4 star as there was a used face mask in one of the yukata. Not good in this heightened outbreak period...
This is my favorite onsen resort in Hakodate.
The rooms are simple but comfortable. The dinner and breakfast buffets are excellent, with fresh food that changes daily. The seafood is the star of the show (not surprising for squid city), but the rest of the food is very good too.
There is a convenience store with lots of local sweets available.
The rooftop onsen is wonderful, especially the open...

I understand that the hotel’s breakfast hours are from 6:30 am to 9:00 am, and we arrived at 9:02 am, slightly late as we were packing our luggage and preparing to check out. By then, the kitchen staff were already putting away the food and preparing to close the breakfast area. I quickly took a bowl of soup from what was still available. However, one of the kitchen staff members looked at me and rolled...
I have stayed many times, but for the first time I knew the room could be so spacious, and looking back at the fire escape picture, it turned out to be the largest room on the entire floor. Being a member, booked directly on the hotel website but showed only 1 room left, because traveling with friends needed 2 rooms, did not expect to even be able to book 2 rooms on Trip.Com.
It was clean and nice. It's close to the station and convenient for transportation.
Toyoko-inn is always my prefer choice of hotel when visit Japan. It’s good location, cleanliness, facilities & free breakfast lol.
This time, it also did not fail me. Will book again if I to visit ASAHIKAWA next time.
Standard Toyoko Inn. A little worn but clean. Easy to use with signage in English.
Great, great, great, great. This hotel is really good. My friend and I stayed at this hotel. The price of this hotel is very cheap in Japan. It is also close to JR. Although the breakfast is not rich, it is free. In Japan, it is an absolute advantage. There is a lot of snow near the hotel, but because it is close to the city center, it is cleaned up in time.

Beautiful hotel, nice interior and onsen. Very clean.
Overall is good except there is no restaurant nearby the hotel, need to walk for 10-20 minutes to go to the nearest restaurants. Short breakfast time. The onsite shops and bar open at certain hours only.
Excellent stay! The food was delicious, and the service was very professional. I also appreciated the airport shuttle service. The hotel views were stunning. We had a wonderful time in Abashiri and will definitely visit again.
Very good dinner
Clean and spacious room
Great outdoor onsen
The room and the bed were very comfortable
The food variety was great
The Onsen was very nice
the buffet is very good with a lot of diy element. the hotel is very much filled with art pieces which makes it very unique. the onsen is not big but serves its function. the room is clean and tidy.
The architectural design and the decoration of the hotel building is stylish and artistic. It is spacious. The staff are very polite and attentive to your needs. They will give you a guided tour introducing the facilities of the hotel after you completed the check in process. There is a hut with a pool in the garden offering free footbath which is fun. The hotel is located by a big lake. The facilities are good. The spa at the open space is charming. Quite a good hotel.
Aged hotel but clean, view is good facing to the lake. Buffet for dinner and breakfast don't expect too much. 😕
The breakfast buffet was excellent. We had all-you-can-eat seafood bowls (salmon roe, salmon, tuna, and squid), and the salad was delicious. The room was so spacious it felt unbelievable for a single room.
The top floor had a great view. It's in the annex, so if you want a better stay, you'll have to go to the new building. We were able to check in around 1:40 PM, and the receptionist spoke excellent English.
The dinner was excellent and delicious.
The breakfast selection was reduced, and the quality was significantly lower, but the bread was superb, with a nice wheaty aroma.
Fatal flaw: The mattress...
View is excellent, however the whole building is ageing and not in good maintenance. Services is also poor.

This was my first time staying here because it was cheap, but it was clean enough for a room only stay and I felt safe staying there.
Also, the drinks in the vending machines were cheap, which was nice.
Although it's close to Exit 21 of the underground passage, there's no elevator; it's recommended to use Exit 24, which has an elevator. The hotel is located in a small alley next to the ANA Crown Hotel. The bed was a bit firm.
The hotel has an excellent location, just a five-minute walk from Sapporo Station. A complimentary breakfast is included with the stay; while the selection is limited, everything is delicious. For those driving, there is a private parking lot nearby, but please note that it's open from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. This was my third time staying here. The staff's service was excellent, making my stay very pleasant. I'd love to visit again.
They helped with my luggage upon arrival, and provided a check-in service. They speak fluent English. I booked a room with a private onsen (hot spring bath), which overlooked the canal – the view was amazing! There was also a massage chair. The complimentary wagashi (Japanese sweets) were delicious, and the mini-fridge was stocked with free drinks. Dinner was also quite good.
This hotel is excellent in every aspect.
The staff are incredibly friendly and, despite limited English, they make a genuine effort to communicate. Three staff members were waiting outside for our check-in, and they escorted us all the way to the door during check-out.
The location is super convenient, right next to the Otaru Canal, and it's a quick walk to Otaru Station.
The hotel offers a lounge...
This is my second time here, and I'm completely satisfied with everything. The hospitality, in particular, is exceptional, making it my number one hotel to stay at again!

Great place with great rooms with easy access to the slopes. The hot springs is a must and is extremely easy for foreigners to use. Would recommend for anyone wanting a cheap but pleasant stay in niseko.
This hotel was about a five-minute walk from the ski equipment rental shop and the ski resort. It also had a hot spring sauna, which was great!
The room is nice, there is a greenhouse to store ski equipment, hot springs to soak in, and it's a five-minute walk from the ski resort
The first time I went skiing in Hokkaido, I chose Niseko. We went there during the peak season and booked late. Niseko is a popular place, so it was hard to find a hotel that was actually available and reasonably priced. Many ski hotels with good value for money and close to the ski resorts were fully booked early, or they were luxury hotels that were several times more expensive. Finally, after looking...
We stayed in a Japanese-style room with bathroom, which was relatively new. The hotel is very close to the ski lift, on the cross street, which is very convenient for shopping at night. Hirafu Welcome Center is not far from the hotel, about 200 to 300 meters away. The room faces Mount Yotei. The public bath in the hotel has hot springs, which also face Mount Yotei. It is recommended to go there after...
I was very skeptical given that this is the “budget” option compared to the super expensive hotels and resorts in the area. Plus the pictures look pretty bad. But we booked last minute and it was either this or a 3x more expensive hotel. So we decided to give it a try and I’m so glad we did!!
Overall the hotel is old and gives grandma vibes. But it’s Japanese old and everything is super well maintained...

From there, drive through Hakodate city. Arrived at Hotel Suncity Hakodate. The parking lot is next to the hotel and is very spacious. the outside looks like this. The lobby is very large. Conveniently located a short walk away from the hakodate train station, reception was warm and welcoming, the room is spacious, clean and comfortable, overall a great place to stay for a short trip in hakodate
Quite easy to find, just straight ahead after arriving in Hakodate station (this is NOT where the Shinkansen stops). Front desk is friendly but the English is not very good. Tattoos are not allowed in the hot tub. Breakfast set is cheap, but not that great. Room is quiet but only 1sachet for green tea. Better go to convenience store nearby.
Very clean and comfortable room and in a convenient area
Not very convenient on snowy days though it is near a tram station. However service is good but room is a bit small and squeeze.

Was here for the day use onsen.
Great quality of water for experienced Japan traditional onsen explorers. It’s an old hotel so facility is a bit outdated. One big tub max 6 people at once. Small changing area.
Onsen plus towels rental were ¥550+¥100.
Overall my room was clean. In terms of presentation, it is more on the old, worn-out side like it could use a new coat of paint & wallpaper. The hallways, my room, & bedding had a particular smell. I asked for a room with no/minimal cigarette smell, which I think they did, so I think the smell is just from how old the building is. It's not a bad smell, just off-putting like I wonder how often they...
It was a wonderful hot spring. I stayed for two nights but wish I could have stayed a little longer.
The hotel facilities are too old and there is no elevator. You have to change into slippers when you enter the gate. It feels like you have entered a bathhouse. The room looks like a domestic hotel in the 1990s.
It is a little far from Hakodate city, but very close to the airport. The facilities may be a little lacking compared to the surrounding ryokans, but the breakfast and dinner more than make up for it. The staff are friendly, and there is a female staff member who speaks Korean well, so there is no inconvenience at all.
The hotel has a natural hot spring and the food is pretty good, but the room facilities are too old. There is no air conditioning, only an old-fashioned air cooler, and the tatami is equipped with a thick quilt. The staying experience is unsatisfactory.

Ideal for backpackers. Netwalk is the cheapest option.

Stayed here for two nights in a room with a good view of the bay. What'd you'd expect from a business hotel. Furnishings a little old and tired but the rooms are otherwise clean and service impeccable. Good if you just want a no frills experience.
A very silent and quiet hotel facing Hakodate bay with excellent view. In the back view, there are many old style church in the hill just near the hotel. A Hakodate city road train stop is just its side.
Staff was very friendly---recommending places to eat and things to see in Hakodate. The rooms were very large and clean with all the standard amenities, plus a great view of the ocean. Also, the hotel is close to several restaurants, coffee shops, and a streetcar stop, so quite convenient.
