Osaka, 3-4-6, Hirano-machi Chuo-ku (in the centre) 🧭 Map
Nice location, good breakfast. Convenient location, close to train station. In between the two main hubs within Osaka, would highly recommend.
Very pleasant place! Appreciate support from hotel for a personnal request
Convenient location, clean rooms, but the mattress was uncomfortable and there was no water cooler on my floor.
This is a great hotel located close to all the attractions. Its also close to train stations that gets you to Osaka and Namba stations quickly. The hotel staff are all nice and very helpful. The everyday breakfast was great. Highly recommend this hotel.
Everything else was fine, but they were supposed to clean the room every three days, and when I got back at night, it hadn't been cleaned at all, not even the trash was emptied. I checked out on the fourth day, and it really ruined my mood late at night ☹️
It was a good experience. The breakfast is really nice and room is also good.

Room size & setting 👍🏻 Coffee machine is fit & easy to handle
The room isn't huge, but it's perfectly sufficient for one person. It's located right above Namba Station on a high floor, offering amazing panoramic views of the entire Namba area. Since it's the off-season, the hotel was also very affordable.
Very elegant classy European-like hotel. The lobby makes you feel you are in a 5 or 6 stars hotel! You will see a small cathedral in the lobby. The location is just beside OCAT which is super helpful if you are taking the airport limousine bus. It is next to a big supermarket too. To take subway, use exit 30 which is right in front of the hotel. Rooms are big enough to open up two 24 inch luggages...
Better than expected stay. Convenient less than 10 mins walk to JR Namba station and Dontobori area. Beautiful City view
Super clean, comfortable bed. Quiet room. 6 stars. Can walk everywhere
The view from the room was absolutely 100/100! I specifically chose Namba this time because I didn't want to get lost in Umeda. Turns out, if you follow Google's directions to JR Namba Station's Exit 32, you'll find the hotel in a second! Plus, the bus stop for Kansai Airport is right next door. The hotel's location is unbeatable.

Generally very good Room is big enough and equipped with makeup table Location good Carpark good Have coffee corner in lobby
The food in the breakfast session is just above average, no big surprise. Others are excellent.
The location is nice as you have shelter to the Osaka Station. Will recommend the others to stay.
Not the hotels’ fault that I picked this location, most of the food and shopping we wanted was just a train ride away. Getting into the hotel between 3 and 4pm was difficult because of check in being on the second floor and buses of guests arriving at that time. All were using the lifts to get to reception, so we had to go somewhere else while the new arrivals checked in.
The location is good surrounding with lots of resturant and shops. JR stations are also nearby. I ordered goods twice  from Amazon Japan delivered to hotel and the services were very good.
Monterey Group hotels really have great taste! Definitely worth staying at!

Right next door to a 7-Eleven, with several FamilyMarts and Lawsons nearby. The subway station is a reasonable distance away. The hotel has listened to feedback and now provides disposable slippers, and you can get a complimentary bottle of water every day. The business district is pretty quiet at night. There's a well-stocked Life supermarket about 20 minutes away, and also a Matsuya and Torikizoku...
Our first stop in Japan was Osaka, and we stayed at the Keihan Hotel Yodoyabashi – it was excellent and highly recommended! From Kansai Airport, we took the Nankai Rapid Express to Namba. After exiting the station, we found the Midosuji Line and took it one stop towards Minoh to Yodoyabashi. From there, we looked for Exit 18 of the Keihan Line, went up to ground level, spotted a 7-Eleven, and the...
I booked this hotel based on recommendations, and the location is indeed excellent, plus the surrounding area is quiet, and the staff service is great. However, the room is really too small; there's no space to open a suitcase. It's barely okay for one night, but staying longer would feel cramped.
The room size is good, we could open three suitcases at once. The amenities inside are excellent, all brand-name products. The location is superb, with several transport lines nearby, making it convenient to go anywhere. This time, my friends and I went to Osaka for a concert, and staying here was incredibly convenient and fast.
Hygiene: The room was very clean. For guests staying multiple nights, a full cleaning is provided every three days; otherwise, they offer towel changes and trash bag replacement. Facilities: The decor is quite new. Upon check-in, I received a room upgrade to a larger size than the economy twin room I originally booked. It had a table and two chairs by the window, which I don't think the original room...
This hotel's location is fantastic, super close to the subway station, making getting around incredibly convenient! The facilities are all top-notch and well-maintained, everything works perfectly. Overall, the check-in experience was excellent, the service was attentive, and the value for money is unbeatable. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in town!

Osaka, 6-chome-2-78 Shimaya (6 km from centre) 🧭 Map
We stayed 2 nights at Oriental Hotel Universal City with 2 adults and 2 boys. The hotel is in a very convenient location near USJ, and our stay was comfortable. We especially appreciated that the staff kindly added one extra bed for us without us even asking. It was a very thoughtful touch, and we are grateful for their kindness.
Excellent! I've stayed here twice. The only downside is that there's no heating. Haha, just documenting my trip.
Aside from the small room, there's nothing bad to say. Check-in and check-out were very convenient. It's just a 5-minute walk from the Universal Studios entrance, located at the end of the main street, offering a quiet escape from the hustle and bustle, and dining options are easily accessible. The hotel provides breakfast, afternoon tea, drinks, and ice cream, which was a very thoughtful touch. You...
This is my third time staying at this hotel. The first time was 10 years ago, so naturally, the hotel is quite old. With a constant stream of tourists, the facilities aren't new either. However, Japanese hotels generally maintain their properties quite well. While I've seen some reviews complaining about minor details, I personally haven't encountered any issues, which is why I keep coming back here...
The location is excellent, right outside the JR station. The hotel also sends an email in advance for online check-in. The room is new, and the window view is great; you can even see the queue situation.
The room was really clean, and for Japan, it was actually quite spacious. The location is fantastic, just a few dozen meters from Universal City Station, right at the entrance to Universal Studios. I definitely recommend it.

After comparing several hotels for this trip to Japan, I ultimately chose The Westin, and overall, I'm very satisfied with my stay. The twin room I booked had spacious beds, and there are multiple shopping malls conveniently located near the hotel, making dining and shopping very accessible. Highly recommended!
After a long search, I finally settled on The Westin, an established hotel that was renovated last year. Location: It's a 6-7 minute walk from Osaka Station, which is both convenient and peaceful, tucked away from the hustle and bustle. Cleanliness: There's really nothing to complain about when it comes to cleanliness in Japanese hotels. Facilities: The room was spacious enough, which was my favorite...
The room was spacious and the hygiene was good. The hotel isn't very large but it's well-designed and chic. The shuttle bus service ends a bit early, but otherwise, everything else was pretty good. The hotel is a little bit of a walk from Osaka Station, but it's a pleasant stroll after dinner.
The main selling point is the spacious room – plenty of space for luggage!
I was extremely satisfied with my stay this time; it's honestly one of the most comfortable hotels I've stayed in recently. This hotel gives the basic comforts we need for a trip to Osaka, with confortable rooms that has a japanese style to it. The evening drinks and late night ramen is a welcomed service offered by the hotel, especially after a long day of sightseeing. Location is quite good, where its near a supermarket and a subway station. Its also very near to Shinsekai.
Wonderful place for families. Lots of activities and free food. Amazing onsen which is not crowded. Room is spacious and clean. Will surely stay again when I visit osaka.
Hotel is located next to the metro station, it is very convenient to get around the city. On top of that, there are ramen served every night.
First off, the location is absolutely fantastic! It's literally a 1-minute walk from the subway exit, super convenient. Plus, Tsutenkaku is right next door, making dining and shopping incredibly easy. The hotel's cleanliness is excellent, and the hot springs are a free bonus!
Amazing hotel with amazing amenities like Onsen spa included in the price plus free ramen and beer also there is sky garden with beautiful views! Great deal!
The hotel is accessible by subway, but you'll need to transfer if you're coming from the airport. They offer complimentary drinks starting in the afternoon, and free ramen at 9 PM. There's a hot spring bath in the building across the street, and a free massage chair on the first floor, though it's often occupied. A large supermarket is just a right turn from the exit. The service was very attentive, and the location was quite convenient.
Conveniently located near Osaka Umeda Station, this established 5-star hotel offers well-managed services. The high-floor corner rooms are spacious and provide expansive views.
This hotel is great! The location is excellent, making it super convenient to get everywhere. It's also incredibly clean and beautifully decorated. They even left chocolates for us, and the staff were all very friendly.
Although the room was small, it was very comfortable, and the bathroom was excellent. The hotel front desk staff were great and had no problem communicating in English. Room service food was also delicious, but the Chinese restaurant was quite mediocre.
The hotel's location is convenient, about 1km from the commercial center's Daimaru and Hankyu department stores, and around 600m from the subway station. The room facilities are well-maintained, and the staff are enthusiastic. Breakfast is well-organized with orderly queuing, though the variety of dishes is just average.

Since I was staying overnight, I just needed a room where I could sleep, so a small room was fine. The best thing was that the large public bath and open-air bath were spacious and clean, and were great for soothing my cold body. I was surprised that most of the staff were foreigners, but they had studied Japanese thoroughly and I thought the service was adequate.
Breakfast was okay. The breakfast was not a buffet, but a choice of one plate or curry, and rice and soup were free to refill. It was a one plate meal, but it was very filling.
Most of the nearby restaurants close around 10 PM, so I recommend eating before heading in. If you haven't eaten, there are no convenience stores or supermarkets nearby, so you'll have to walk about 10 minutes. The hotel parking lot is small, so you'll have to use a nearby paid parking lot, which costs 2,000 yen per night. I hope this helps!
The location is quite far away from down twon; We booked twin room with two single beds while they gave us a single room with two beds, it makes the room becomes so tiny and we are unable to open our suit cases. Besides, the parking spaces are very limited, we can only park our car in front of the hotel's front door. While the service of the staff is very good, and the sento is so nice and the breakfast...

This hotel is located in Shinsaibashi, about a ten-minute walk from Namba Station. The area is quite lively, with plenty of restaurants still open in the evening. The internal facilities are decent; the capsule is standard size, but it can get a bit stuffy.
Everything is fine exept the thinnest and hardest pillow I've ever seen in my life. A bit old amenities add a touch of true charm to here. They speak a bit English. Locals don’t usually come here to sleep — they come to wash, relax, and go through the full spa ritual. There are three types of steam rooms, a circular shower, and three baths: two hot ones at around 41°C, and one cold shock bath at around 11°C. You dip in and instantly feel alive. The hotel isn't right in the heart of Umeda, but on the upside, it's much quieter. It's about a 10-minute walk to Hankyu and a 15-minute walk to Hanshin, which is totally acceptable. The room was really spacious for Osaka standards, and we had a very comfortable stay. There's also an amazing yakitori place nearby called Matsuri that's a must-try!
The InterContinental Osaka is, without a doubt, the best hotel I've ever stayed in when it comes to service. The housekeeping is virtually perfect; even the toiletries and skincare products on the bathroom counter are artfully arranged. The hotel is overall OK, nothing that outright fails. However carpet is a bit worn. Pillow is not the usual medium soft fluffy type, some kind of beads inside, which me and my wife are not used to. The location is great, just one subway stop from Umeda and very close to the station, probably within 300 meters. The hotel environment is really nice, I'd say it's on the higher end for a Smile Hotel. The front desk service was excellent, very attentive, and they offer luggage storage. You can get fresh towels daily, and housekeeping comes every three days. It's also very close to the subway station.
I would like to sincerely thank 李 and 伏见 for their efforts in coordinating with various parties and helping me successfully retrieve my lost bag from the Shinkansen lost and found centre. Even though the reception was busy with other travelers and this wasnt part of their job, they still took the time to help me. Because of their help, I was able to enjoy the rest of my Japan trip.
The location is very convenient, the environment is great, and the facilities are handy. The room is spacious enough to open a suitcase, and it comes with a hairdryer, kettle, fridge, and air conditioning. Plus, you can enjoy the view from the window.
