Where to stay in Osaka

A clean and tidy hotel. The lobby is on the second floor, which is very spacious. The room is typical. The service staff has a good attitude and does things clearly. The geographical location is actually very good, and it is very convenient to go anywhere of Osaka.

The room is clean, beds look tired and old, firm too. Pillows are small and flat. I pulled back sheets on one of the beds and there were blood stains on sheets (small spots) and sheets looked crisp. Other bed was ok. It's literally an upscale motel. Breakfast is from 0700am. Staff were nice and it's clean so can't complain for the most part.

The room was very clean. Although it wasn't huge, I could still lay my 24-inch suitcase flat on the floor. The bathroom was also quite clean with no strange odors. Being on the ninth floor, the soundproofing was decent. There's a mini-fridge, perfect for storing puddings.

For how much we paid, this was OUTSTANDING value. Breakfast was simple but yummy, bath included a cold bath and sauna! The rooms were small though, but window view was quite decent where we were. If you're not going to stay in the rooms much, I would highly recommend this.

In front of the hotel is a metro station, Osaka Metro Namba Station (Midosuji, Sennichimae, and Yotsubashi lines) Very convenience location. There is a family Mart convenience store next to the hotel and walking distance to Dodonburi. Only the room is small and narrow for two big luggage. The room is a bit too old looking but still clean. Hotel has a smoke area by the entrance which is quite bothersome. There is no common area to sit and chill out just like any other hotels. The room also has no air condition. If you need good air ventilation, you need to leave windows open which can be very noisy as the hotel is right beside a main street, many emergency cars passby.

Turn left out of the hotel and in just 3 minutes you're right in the middle of Shinsaibashi (at the Miki Gakki instrument store). Turn right again and it's only a 1-minute walk to the Midosuji Line. This hotel is super close to Shinsaibashi subway station, which is incredibly convenient. After a long day of shopping, you can easily pop back to drop off your bags and then head straight back out. I highly recommend it! My only comment is that for families with kids, it seems like there are fewer family rooms available. However, one bed was enough for our family with a 10-year-old.
