Gora Nigorinoyu Yado Nou Nou Hakone in Hakone

Reservation management is handled by a different department from the accommodation. When I contacted them to cancel, they told me in a strong tone that they were going to cover the loss from the hole in the reservation. It seems that they are more concerned about the money they can get in front of them than repeat customers, and I feel that their business is not in good shape.

Honestly, I don't know why the reviews are so good. The building is probably a renovated training center for a company. The room (Room 205) itself was good for two people. They gave us special room service (hotel suggestion). However, the timing of the meals was bad and we didn't enjoy the taste very much. Also, the alcohol was very expensive, even considering that it was a ryokan price. The large public bath was generally rundown and not cleaned well. The bathroom was just cold because of the season, and my friend, a nurse, was always worried that the elderly guests would get heat shock. On the other hand, the water was too hot to take a long bath. I also went to the open-air bath, but I took a route that seemed like it was for people involved, and I thought that's how it was. However, the quality of the spring water is very good. I really felt like I was in Hakone here. There were some good points such as the free shuttle from the station and the polite service of the young staff, but the service was not commensurate with the price. Maybe I expected too much from the photos and reviews on the reservation site. Customers have been pointing out peeling tiles in the large communal baths (both men's and women's), so it seems that improvements to the physical facilities have not been sufficient.
