Karuizawa Prince Hotel West, Karuizawa1 / 30

Karuizawa, 1016-87 Karuizawa 🧭 Map
Spa facilities: Massage, Spa and wellness centre
got its own ski resort, very convenient. no need for car rental.
Very good location, convenient pick up bus services to the shopping mall and skiing areas! Room have a very good view and clean, comfortable environment for the stay!
The cabin felt like being in a forest, perfect for a summer trip. However, the facilities are a bit dated, making the experience less comfortable. I should have booked a room in the main building. That would have made accessing the hot springs and gym much more convenient.
there is a great experience to line in Hotel West, Prince Resort, especially, the Hot Spring where is clean and is easy to make customers relax.
This was my first time in Karuizawa, and I picked this hotel blindly, but it turned out to be even better than I expected. The hotel is right next to the outlets, making shopping, getting around, and dining all super convenient. The room decor was also very cozy.
Unexpectedly close to both the outlet mall and the JR station, it's within walking distance. The hotel is quite large, and the rooms are spacious too, with both indoor and outdoor hot spring baths. It's a great place for couples and families with kids to stay.

The hotel boasts a magnificent Japanese garden with koi ponds, plants, and trees, offering a picturesque view at every turn. Each season brings a different kind of beauty. It's a truly tranquil oasis in the city, perfect for a relaxing and healing stroll.
I booked an Executive Room. While it wasn't huge, I had a nice view of Tokyo Tower. There's also an executive lounge on the first floor. The offerings weren't extensive, but it was enough to grab a quick bite.
The location is excellent, with a shuttle service that picks up and drops off right across from Shinagawa Station, making travel and shopping very convenient. It has a sizable garden that guests can explore, and there's a discount on tickets to the nearby aquarium, so there's plenty to do during your stay.
Overall good location direct access from Haneda airport. There was shuttle bus available from Prince Hotel Shinagawa to go to this hotel within the same area. Check in was smooth and generalities staff who helped with luggage was very friendly and helpful. However one male front desk (not wearing glasses) staff stood out as an unexpected lousy service communication unbecoming of Japanese service...
The room was very spacious and comfortable! The bedding and bathrobes were excellent, though the slippers were a bit low quality. The hotel has a large Japanese garden which is beautiful at night. It's about a 10-minute walk from Shinagawa Station, directly across the street, but there's a big slope which made it a bit tiring with luggage. However, if I were to bring my child next time, I'd probably...
This was my first time staying in a 4-star hotel in Japan, and at 1000 yen for a twin room during the off-season, it was excellent value for money. The lobby was impressive, check-in was smooth, and the room was clean. We stayed on the 8th floor, and the view from the window was lovely. They even proactively offered us two complimentary breakfasts, which had a wide variety of options, and both the...

Spa facilities: Sauna, Spa and wellness centre
Excellent location with panoramic views of Osaka Bay! The room was spacious and offered fantastic scenery – I got to watch both the sunrise in the morning and the sunset in the evening. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, keeping everything spotless and comfortable. Plus, it was super convenient for getting around!
The room was great, with a fantastic view of Osaka Bay. Breakfast, however, was just average.
The hotel is quite large, but they don't even offer coffee, and you have to queue for breakfast. The water pressure is very low. It's advertised as being close to the hot springs, but you still have to walk a bit to get there; it's not actually on the hotel grounds. Also, when you return to the hotel after 8 PM, all the shops in the mall are already closed.
Nice place to stay with special price to Onsem . Three stop to USJ . Basement got Daiso and big supermarket. Around got many restaurants and shops.
This hotel is truly a king of value for money! The environment, location, and service are all fantastic. We were especially impressed by the daily housekeeping details. If anyone I know is planning a trip to Osaka, the first place I'll recommend them to stay is definitely this hotel.
Stayed on the 49th floor... The view in the morning and the city lights at night... Wow, truly unforgettable. The room was spacious and clean. It's super convenient as there are subway stations just a few minutes' walk away. Downstairs, there's a Family Mart, a pharmacy, fast food joints, and a large hot spring (which costs extra). We stayed for 5 nights and I'd love to bring my kids and wife next...

Hotel is so clean and newly rennovated. We are happy with our stay with them, and its value for money! Love their shuttle bus as it’s so iconic!
This is my second time staying here. The shuttle from Maihama to the hotel is super convenient, and there's also a direct bus from Haneda Airport. Plus, the shuttle to Disney is very handy. There's a Lawson convenience store at the Hilton, about 200 meters away, which is great for grabbing snacks. It's a fantastic choice for a Disney trip.
The environment here is great, and it's really close to Disneyland. Getting around is super convenient, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. They also offer a shuttle service to Disneyland and the subway station, which makes exploring the area a breeze. The rooms are quite spacious, and the service is good. Plus, there's a supermarket and a bakery right downstairs.
The hotel's location is excellent, with a convenient and charming shuttle bus service to Disneyland. The hotel facilities are comprehensive, and the room isn't too small, which is typical for Japanese hotels. The lobby has a great ambiance and even includes a Disney store. All the hotel staff are very pleasant. It's a great choice for a Disney trip.
HeWe chose this hotel because it’s located within the Tokyo Disney Resort area, making it very convenient to visit both Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea. We stayed for two nights and overall had a great experience. The room was extremely spacious — the largest we stayed in during our entire Tokyo trip. The in-room amenities were impressive as well. They provided bath salts, face masks, and even heat...
This is an excellent alternative to staying at Disneyland. The room is clean and spacious. The bathroom is excellent. You can't get a straight transaction between the hotel and Disneyland You need to take the shuttle bus to a stop, then take the Disneyland train to Disneyland. This is quite inconvenient.

This hotel is perfect for a vacation. The room's blinds have a unique design, which unfortunately means they don't block out the morning sun, so if you like to sleep in, it's best to bring an eye mask. Also, the hotel is divided into two sections: Beach Wing and Sunset Wing. We stayed in the Beach Wing this time, and while our balcony overlooked the sea, the hallway outside our door faced a road, and...
This hotel in Onna is about an hour's drive from Naha Airport. The rooms are simply elegant, and they leave a small gift every night during turn-down service. The hotel's restaurants are a highlight, offering high-quality Japanese and Western options, though reservations are a must. My only minor complaint is that the blinds let in a lot of light, making it hard to sleep in late. But overall, it's...
A very comfortable stay, with top-notch experience in terms of rooms, common areas, and service. The only regret is that the strong winds and low temperatures in February made it impossible to enjoy the water activities.
Luxurious in every sense of the word. Impeccable hospitality and amazing atmosphere. Had the best afternoon at the bar Spectra.
I come to Okinawa almost every winter for vacation and have stayed at many ocean-view hotels here. Halekulani Okinawa stands out for both its significant strengths and weaknesses. **Pros:** (1) As a newly built hotel, the facilities are much newer than other hotels. The rooms even have smart tablets to conveniently book restaurants and check out various amenities. (2) Although the restaurant prices...

I think this is my best hotel because located near all public transportation. The breakfast was delicious and the rooms were clean. All the reception staff , housekeepers were very lovely. Every time I come here, I am very happy.
The room was clean and the front desk service was excellent. As a solo traveler with limited language skills, they were incredibly thoughtful and patient, even using translation software and writing down important information for me. Unlike other budget hotels, this one offers daily cleaning. Although the breakfast selection wasn't vast, it was delicious, and eating while gazing at Sapporo blanketed...
Staff are friendly, there is public onsen, but luggage storage only till 12pm, it will be better if can extend till later time. Location is excellent, sapporo station is just across the street
The location is absolutely excellent. From Sapporo JR Station, you'll need to head towards the West Exit due to ongoing exterior maintenance, though the signs might point to the North Exit/Hokkaido University direction. If you take the correct exit, it's practically a stone's throw away – less than 50 meters and just across the street. The hotel itself is a bit on the older side, but it's well-maintained...
It’s not making a lot of sense they could only store your luggage for 2 hours
The hotel is clean and very new. It is very close to Chitose Station which is very good for me as I can go to the airport in the morning without rushing. There is an onsen and the lounge provides nice coffee in the morning.

Very old hotel, falling to pieces. We had to request a room change because of electrical wires that were just hanging from the wall felt very unsafe (with furniture falling to pieces). When we got in the new room, we went from Second World War era to the old 80’s. This hotel just has a good location
Art Hotel is always our go-to hotel whenever we’re in Chiba Prefecture. Its location is incredibly convenient, making it easy to get around, and the price is very affordable for what you get. One of the highlights for us is the onsen, which is perfect for relaxing after a long day. Overall, it consistently offers great value, comfort, and convenience, which is why we keep coming back.
I stayed at the Main building, not the Garden Wing as stated by many to be poorly maintained. Rooms are small, older but functional. Complimentary Shuttle to and from the airport/ Narita city and hotel. There are many airport hotels near Narita but everyone chooses this because of its ONSEN! It is a must. Always been a big fan of the Dormy Inn chain, guaranteed a nice onsen and delicious supper and breakfast. Checking in and out is a breeze. This hotel is located steps away from the JR station as well as bus terminal, very easy to hop on a bus to tour the city. Highly recommended.
Right across from Kanazawa Station, this hotel is super convenient with Aeon Mall nearby. Getting around is a breeze, and there are tons of places to eat at the station. I loved that the hotel has a public bath and a warm bowl of ramen at night really hit the spot. It's just a shame I didn't get to see any snow!
Great location and great value for money, quality onsen amenities! Will definitely recommend to friends.
Very conveniently located near the train station. Excellent value for money. Loved the onsen and variety of amenities like the complimentary snack and yonaki soba. Breakfast was good for the price.

Definately one of the better APA hotels I've stayed at. Rooms are typical APA style, aimed at single traveller with just the one suitcase to fit uner the bed, but they are nicer than most, being a touch bigger and nicer facilities. Nice hotel with good service and an onsen. The rooms are quite small but ours had a great view which includes the national diet building (not in picture). If you are here because you want to be next to the diet building or the prime Minister's residence, this is the perfect hotel. However a lot of restaurants and convenience stores are much further away.

A business hotel close to the subway station. Breakfast on the first floor is delicious. Using sauna of B1 is a good way to relieve fatigue. The room is really small, so it is difficult for 2 people to use it. My back hurts because the bed is old. There are many restaurants and convenience stores near the subway. Unexpectedly, there are many Western tourists.
They were very helpful when I needed to store my luggage, and they even gave me directions to my destination, which was a huge help! I'd love to stay here again!
This is a typical chain business hotel. I usually stay elsewhere in Shinjuku, but it was fully booked. This hotel and my usual one are both about a 10-minute walk from the station. A definite plus here is the public bath downstairs, although it's clearly not a natural hot spring. I also appreciate its proximity to Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, which I love. It's a straightforward and convenient walk...
The room was clean and well-equipped, but the service at the counter was not impressive. They weren't as helpful or informative as they should have been when I had questions.
Cosy place with nice facilities. Staff were very friendly too
The stay overall was smooth. The room layout is somewhat unconventional, with several rooms featuring lowered ceiling beams that can feel restrictive in certain areas. This appears to be due to the building’s structural design and infrastructure placement, and while it may affect the sense of openness, the rooms remain functional and efficiently organised for short stays. The only downside was the limited hairdryer space in the women's changing room at the underground public bath, which led to some waiting.
The room was clean, but the windows were rattling and very noisy, and there was a strange smell coming from the bathroom and toilet. I would have been happy if they had done a better job of preventing odors and fixing the rattle of the windows. I'll think twice about staying here again.
Very good for relaxing, the location is perfect for rent a car traveling, The dinner is excellent with variety of food and fantastic alcoholic drinks , as well as breakfast it is very delicious.
I stayed on a weekday. The lobby lounge offered alcohol and snacks, and after my bath, I was treated to Yukimi Daifuku and frozen fruit. It was fun to see so many ways to enjoy the hotel without leaving the room rate. There was a kids' play area (although the batteries in the electric toys, like the merry-go-round and piano, were all dead). The public bath had children's foam soap (although they couldn...
The service of staff could be better.
This hotel offers a free shuttle service to/from Ugata Station. The rooms are comfortable and the service is warm and attentive! The breakfast spread is also extensive. I suggest the hotel post the specific station for the shuttle service on their website so guests know beforehand (we only found out which station to go to for the shuttle after emailing the hotel).

Spa facilities: Massage, Sauna, Spa and wellness centre
This hotel is one of the best mid-price hotel we ever lived in Japan. You get to choose your own pillow, enjoy the free-flow drink bar as well as the onsen with the hotel. The room is decently clean, nothing to complaint about!
## Hygiene and Service: The hotel has a policy that guests must put out a 'clean my room' sign before 10 AM each day for full housekeeping. Otherwise, only towels and trash bags will be replaced. Even with full cleaning, it's just a basic tidying up; linens and pillowcases are not changed. ## Location: It's a bit far from Osaka JR Station, but you can get there directly via bus #88. There's a convenience...
Fantastic! Clean, tidy, and beautiful 🤩. The hot springs were also super comfortable. Thumbs up! I'll definitely come back again. It's also very close to all the attractions.
This hotel is really nice with its natural hot spring and free flow drinks available from vending machines. Location is not too bad, near train station and bus stops.
An absolutely wonderful Japanese hotel experience. The lovely lady at the front desk, who spoke Chinese, kindly explained how to use all the hotel facilities. The onsen (hot spring) was definitely the biggest highlight; a soak in the evening really helped to relieve the day's fatigue. The ladies' room was especially thoughtful, equipped with a vanity mirror and a curling iron. It was very quiet, and...
The room was small but very clean and well-equipped. You can pick up toiletries you need, as well as nutritional supplements and face masks, from the lobby. There's a 7-Eleven convenience store downstairs, and the service was excellent. Every day, they'd give us a spa code so we could use the hot spring anytime. The only downside is that the location is a bit far from the subway, but it's great if...
