A well maintained cozy bed and breakfast. Would totally recommend this place to all just for the fantastic service that Mr. Ahmet provides. He is genuinely a very helpful person, ready to assist his guests in anyway possible.We has a superb session in the Russian sauna on the property, it was extremely soothing for sore muscles. Book your stay at Hillside without any second thoughts.

We loved our stay at Hillside Karakol B&B! The rooms are very nice, spacious, comfortable and clean! Ahmet and his wife are incredibly kind, helpful and wonderful people ❤️😊! Ahmet went above and beyond to help us! We will be back to visit again soon 😊!

The very hospitable hostess Elvira showed us everything, told us everything, advised where we could have a tasty meal. You can sit on the terrace and drink some tea with honey and jam. The rooms are quite small, but clean, and are quite enough to stay for one night. Each room has its own boiler. The rooms are decorated in a chalet style, with a wooden wall behind the bed and beams on the ceiling. You can use handmade felt slippers. There is a sauna - we were there in the summer, but in winter it is probably the best time to warm up after skiing. But what impressed us most was the hearty, varied breakfast. After all the hotels we stayed at along the way, it was the most delicious and plentiful. Thank you very much!

Like the family house I went to with the tour, it is a very comfortable and clean place, definitely number one on the list of choices, it has a garden, the kitchen and its materials are sufficient, if you want to feel comfortable, you should definitely choose this place.

A lovely hotel in Karakol, where I've been taking my group every year for about five years. A lovely host who makes you feel right at home. We were delighted with the breakfast, the small but spotlessly clean rooms, and the garden. I highly recommend it.

Great accommodation. Clean, well kept, good breakfast. Also friendly and knowledgeable staff. Good recommendations for dinner and for activities. Also for further plans in Kirgisistan. Highly recommended, the WiFi works, and the entertainment system is up to date. If you plan a visit to Karakol (and you should) this is the place to stay.

Ahmet and his wife were so welcoming and helpful - really made us feel at home and provided great recommendations for local restaurants. Really comfy, warm and well-designed rooms - there's also a drying room for ski gear. Great breakfast spread and beautiful views of the mountains in the distance from our room. There's parking too if you have hired a car. We will definitely stay at Hillside when we ski in Karakol again!

We lived in Hillside Karakol during our winter holidays. The building and rooms were very warm and clean. Cosy place with soft beds and excellent linen. Delicious and rich breakfast. Responsive owners and enjoyable atmosphere Will definitely be back.

The best place to stay in Karakol. We stayed there for 5 nights and we discovered from there all the region hiking every day in different valley (Ak-Suu, Jeti Oguz, Jyrgalan, Altyn Arash) . Ahmet, the owner, is the kindest, most welcoming and helpful person we could find. He advised us on wonderful walks but above all he helped us in an indispensable way with the local police. We lost our passports and without him it would have been impossible to solve the problems. He also helped us with taxis, market and translations. Hillside is an oasis of tranquillity, the rooms as clean as the whole building. The common area the ideal place to relax after a long hiking. The breakfasts were excellent. Super fast wifi. To be recommended to anyone who wants to stay in Karakol. We love it!!!

Hillside was the nicest place we stayed during two weeks in Kyrgyzstan. There is a clear attention to detail in the design of the place, leading to a very comfortable building and rooms. The family who owns the business is also very welcoming and helpful, cooking a great breakfast, helping to arrange tours and even driving us to the bus station. Overall, everything was top notch, and we enjoyed our time here relaxing after the tough trek to Ala-Kul. I highly recommend!
