Ordo Hotel in Karakol

This is a family-run guesthouse and it’s warm, comfortable, and very quiet. The breakfast was good, and the host was incredibly friendly with excellent English. He gave us great restaurant recommendations and made reservations for us too.
His dad, who drove a taxi for over 30 years, was our driver for day trips. The car was in great condition and his driving was top-notch. The price was very reasonable and we were really happy with the whole experience. Highly recommended!

We stayed in June 2026. The hotel is in excellent condition and the rooms are clean and cosy (we stayed in Quadruple room). This appears to be a family-run business and the owners are very friendly and helpful. They also serve breakfast from 8am.

Stayed in this family run guesthouse for 2 nights to escape the rain. Super welcoming and friendly hosts, clean rooms and substantial breakfast. Excellent quality for the price.

Great place in Karakol. Super comfortable beds and pillows... room was very clean and the owners were such nice people. Breakfasts were delicious - fresh fruit, omelettes, crepes... I would absolutely stay here again.

Ordo is a truly beautiful place—spotlessly clean and charmingly decorated. The breakfast was a delight: fresh fruits, a great selection of breads and cheeses. Our host, Mars, was incredibly friendly and helpful. He also makes the most amazing eggs and pancakes! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would absolutely come back again. Highly recommended! 👍

We had been at Ordo Hotel in September 2024 twice on our 4x4 tour through Kyrgyzstan. We were welcomed warmly like family members. We had several great chats with Mars (the owner) and enjoyed our visit there very much. The rooms where very clean and had good showers and comfy beds. Mars gave us lots of informations for our visits to the surrounding valleys with our 4x4. We especially liked the great breakfast with lots of choices and wonderful coffee. We hope to come back some day.

My friend complained to me got headache the next morning as there is no air conditioning in the room and that I didn’t know , I booked 2 rooms through *********** , as for me it’s rather cold at Karakol at night and I don’t need the air conditioning. The room is pretty small and I can hardly put my luggages , the bathroom was super small . Breakfast was nicely prepared by the hotel owner .

We loved everything! Wide beds, a comfortable mattress, and cozy pillows. The bathroom has hot water and good pressure. They provided a full set of towels, shower products, and decent toilet paper. The room was quiet, with windows overlooking the courtyard. The hosts are simply the best! They told us everything about the city and gave us dinner recommendations. They're generally very helpful. The breakfasts and the kitchen were a special delight! You can cook your own food in the kitchen, make your own tea or coffee, and there are all the necessary utensils. Breakfast is different every day: there's always fresh bread, butter, cheese, sausage, jam, and fruit. On different days, we had (1) scrambled eggs with sausages and toast, (2) pancakes, and (3) porridge with fruit. Everything was homemade and delicious! The tea was brewed! We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend this hotel!
