It is the first time ever my daughter wants to stay and keeps asking to return - the beach is wonderful, they have a very big stretch of sand and lots of water sports are available (complimentary) which was great fun in the lagoon - the private island is only 5 minutes away and it is such a quiet, wonderful place

The pool area deserves special mention as well—amazing, cozy, and perfectly designed for relaxation at any time of the day. What truly stood out was the professionalism of the staff and management

The hotel offers what is arguably the best beach in Mauritius, complete with its own private island and a wide range of activities, so there’s truly no need to leave the property

We had an wonferful week at this resort. The staff couldn't do enough, they looked after us so well and kept us relaxed

It was a bit of a pain having to think about that and speaking to others there they felt the same. However we were well looked after and we have to say that the staff absolutely make this hotel

Atmosphere is welcoming and professional. Our suite was well furnished and immaculately clean. They have lovely entertainment on an evening and all the staff are both friendly and efficient

Walking through the huge carved door to the hotel was like walking into an oasis. We stayed for 4 nights in an Austral suite. It was huge, facing the sea with a beautiful private pool

What luxury - having breakfast on our terrace a few feet away from the sea. We used the complementary taxi boat into Grand Baie. We also explored the bay with the double kayak and went snorkeling on the reef with Patrick

Me and my sister stayed at Mourouk supposedly for 3 nights, 4 days but due to cyclonic conditions and as there was no flight so we extended one more day. The staff were very polite and welcoming

The food was exceptional as well. We spent some time exploring outside the hotel, otherwise we would happily have stayed and enjoyed the property even more

I also feeled that the service needs a little improvement as no initiative from servers to come and get you menus or take orders whenever you sit in the bar section, by the pool or by the beach

Our room which was bit far from the reception and restaurant and we request for moving nearer. Our request was granted very quickly. The chef prepared a vegetarian meal exceptionally for us

We did find that the beaches on the Eastern side were more stunning though. There is fast access here to many restaurants, shops, beaches, and dive centres in the area, so the location is great

Stray dogs are on the beach but in Mauritius every dog belongs to everyone, it is a kind of natural bonding. They don't bother anyone and happy if someone feeds them

The Bay Area and beach depends on the weather, sometimes when too hot the water becomes shallow and slightly murky but other times beautiful and crystal clear

As we had come back to Mauritius after 34 years and we thought we will celebrated our wedding anniversary here. The Manager of the hotel Nitesh took care of all our needs and the staff were very polite an friendly

Be aware though that most of the natural wonders and sights are 1,5 hrs away to the south by car like chamarel, black river, le morne, casela safari, etc. I would wholeheartedly recommend this place to all

The hotel pools are great and the location just opposite the beach fantastic! Breakfast buffet was good and the Crazy fish restaurant real good. The staff were super friendly and helpfull

The hotel organises free bus shuttles to Flic-en-Flac and another beach I do not remember. You can easily reach main sights from Tamarin which saves time if you want to see as much of the island as possible

Many hotels are trying to be more sustainable but Vernada Tamarin really puts sustainability at heart of all they do. Location: excellent with a Tamarin beach just across the road

We had a lovely stay at Veranda Tamarin in February. We loved the layout and the whole relaxed atmosphere of the hotel. It's beautifully decorated with authentic feel without any cheap trinkets

Staff was very friendly and kind. The service might seem on a slower side from European perspective but it only adds to island vibes. A special shout out to Patrick who was a real star

The resort is located in a beautiful setting; however, it lacks a sandy beach. The beachfront directly in front of the hotel is mostly rocky, though it is still manageable

Good unobtrusive service, daily cleaning, good view from the room (in the description a view of the garden, but in fact a view of the ocean), cozy territory, there is Wi-Fi and a swimming pool, good breakfasts

Also, the lady who sang on the Chinese buffet night was just amazing, she even took song dedications and the pianist too, they were both so talented! Breakfast buffet was so fresh and delicious, however the dinner buffet could do with a bit of improvement

Coral Azur Beach Resort – Wonderful family-friendly stay We stayed at Coral Azur Beach Resort for 4 nights as a family of 7, including two kids and two senior citizens, and had a truly superb experience

The resort is an absolute beauty ! From waking up with a view on the garden and the sea, to enjoying the perfect weather on the private beach on ile aux cerfs, we had a great great time :) We had an excellent choice for the meals as well

I originally booked a sea view room but was actually given a bay view room without any explanation. The room type was different from the picture. The Deer Island Beach was OK, but there were no activities

You don't need to get off the car when you drive to the hotel. The staff will take you to the room for check-in. The swimming pool in the room faces the sea and the scenery is beautiful

The hotel is warm as it lacks air conditioning in the hallway and other public areas, but you get used to it quickly. The building is rather short, only three floors, with no elevators

We really appreciate the stay and it was our 4th visit to the hotel. Outstanding Infrastructure - Children really had enjoyed the piscines, the staffs and also the food.

It isn’t huge but we enjoyed going into it. The beach nearby is nice and it is well worth taking the Glass Bottom Boat trip out to see fish undersea - we really enjoyed that

The Kids Club has many good activities for younger ones which change each day, and some lovely staff who put a lot of work into their roles. The pool is divided into 3 zones including a small toddler/baby pool

There is always a breeze on this coast so you can enjoy the sun and keep cool at the same time. The cocktail drink made and served within a coconut is a must but it's not on the all-inclusive menu but worth the £6

We were two couples from Finland staying 12 days. We were happy for the service, tidyness, the weather, the warm climate. The beach was nice and peaceful.

The location is very good! The beach has 4 umbrellas and 8 sun loungers from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. But no one warns that they're closed on Saturdays and Sundays

The staff is excellent; I've asked them many times with requests, and they've been helpful with everything. The rooms themselves are a bit tired, but everything is clean, cleaned every day, no complaints

The hotel is quite well located for accessing the beach, Casela, or Port Louis. However, the hotel is rather dated with a lack of soundproofing in the rooms. We could hear conversations from the rooms or the hallway

The cocktails at the bar are good, but the breakfasts and dinners are disappointing. I've tried the menu a couple of times for lunch—they cook from the restaurant menu and it's delicious
